Update: cannot handle this all anymore. It was built to allow one story to be read.... And that's it. Uninstalling as there are better apps available. It seems this app only wants you to read one article. If you scroll down select and article and go back to the main page it goes back to the start of the news items and you have to scroll all the way to where you were. It is annoying and just makes me move onto another news source

If you click on and read an article and then return to the feed, it takes you back up to the top. That's really annoying, then having to scroll down all the way down to where you've last been. Look at the News24 app. If you return to the feed, you go to where you were. Basic UX. That's the big reason why I rather go there. Easy fix! And the feedback option in the app does not work. These things have been repeatedly mentioned in the comments here. Are you there?

Hi, after scrolling through news articles and choosing one to read, when I select the 'back' button in the app it takes me back to the top of the list of articles I was scrolling through. Surely it should take me back to the place in the list where I chose the article, so I can continue scrolling from that point and not have to start from the beginning. You guys have great news coverage, thanks. Hope you can sort this out.

I really like the app and it's way better than news 24 because it doesn't have interrupting ads but there are 5 things that I don't like . 1) That I need a 3d praty account to comment . 2) The app doesn't remember where you were before going into an article. 3) Videos don't play at all. 4)The menus within menus are frustrating. 5) That you can't share stories.

Load of rubbish! Read before installing!! It crashes when I try listening to the news and also when I use the timeline on some stories, not all. That's no good. I have Uninstalled it as it seems that this problem has been going on for a very long time and no one is interested in fixing it.

Despite having unistalled the app and re-installed, the app doue not launch. Get tge 1st EWN screen and then gonnnned!! Had it running on this phone for 15 months now. Started dropping a week ago. Also extremely frustrating that once you read an article, it takes you to the top. Instead of "latching" your article.

I've tried many times to download this app onto my lenovo laptop. The formatting is all wrong. The title dropdown takes up more than half the page and the covid warning at the bottom takes up space, so there's only a thin window to view the news. Almost impossible. Anyone else having the same problem?

Please please please add a landscape view option for older eyes? Also, after reading a specific report and reverting back to the home screen, show where the latest article was picked and not back to the top everytime. Otherwise a great informative app. Feedback in app doesn't work by the way... On my galaxy note 10 plus that is...

Nice app but after reading an article pressing back takes you to the beginning of the news treads. I want to go back and carry on, not have to scroll all the way down to where i was. Only fix needed in my opinion. Also happens when you in categories, takes you back to the home page.

After reading a story and going back to the main menu, the app forces you back to the beginning story. Lots of scrolling needed to get back to where you were. Also the leave comments about the app feature under settings fails.

I love the news but your app not very user friendly. 1. If im logged into disqus why cant i comment? 2. If im scrolling through the news i dont want to automatically go back to the top. I would love to just go onto next news article. but with your app if im done reading something it automatically goes right to the top. which means i have to skip through all the i either read already or didnt want to before i get to something i want to read. Sent comment in app. No response.

Great content but frustrating app When returning to the article list, it goes back to the top of the list. Very frustrating. If I could have your content on a news24 style app, I'd be ecstatic. Update! They sorted it out!!

Terrible usability. Headlines with massive pictures are completely unnecessary. In addition to this, the app crashes everytime I want to play the audio news clip. I thought News24 was bad, EWN takes the cake.

When you are finished reading an article and go back it keeps going to the 1st article again instead of keeping your place. Also you have to refresh the main screen when opening the app, it doesn't auto refresh with the latest news

It's incredibly frustrating that you have not been able to sort out the issue that after reading an article, that it goes straight to the top of the feed. I have just downloaded the update, and still no change. Why do you not engage your reviewers about their feedback?

When scrolling through news articles, every time you read one, you restart your scrolling from the top. This has been mentioned numerous times in numerous reviews. To date, nothing has been done. Uninstalled again

The app jumps around while scrolling. The pictures are too big and use data. It would be better to have smaller blocks in the feed so it's easier to scroll

I see that there have been numerous complaints about the scrolling issue... still not fixed! No response either. Very infuriating. This is the time to be slick and relevant. Competitors introducing subscriptions. This is your time to snap up new readers!

Doesn't display properly or at all, when I tap on an article notification on my phone's drop down notification bar. For a communication and media company, this app is disappointingly poor.

The app is constantly crashing in the background. Also, will somebody please tell the developers that I don't want to scroll from the top of the article list every single time I go in and out of an article.

Please allow users to go back to the place on the page where the story they read was, i.e. Do not refresh to the top when we've read a story from hours ago, we've past the top story and scrolled down because we're interested in other stories. The amount of times I have scrolled down to where I was and given up is making me want to delete the app.

It seems the app never really closes. I'm getting error messages every few minutes saying the app is not responding and yet I've closed it hours ago. I've uninstalled it. I'm not sure what it's trying to do in the background.

I came here to mention that when I tried to provide feedback, as asked for in your Settings, I couldn't Submit as I got "A problem has occurred, please try again later". I actually wanted to submit feedback about your Back button putting you back to the start of your list, and so many people have mentioned this, yet no action. Do you honestly want feedback? It doesn't appear so ... sadly

Cannot even open this app and have now uninstalled it. Judging by other reviews, it seems Google Play should remove this app from Play Store. New comment. I have given this app a second chance by re installing it. It still will not open and when I clicked the report option it said I was not connected to the internet which was false! I am now uninstalling it for the 2and time. Please note that all my other installed apps work perfectly!

Don't waste your time. Stopped working on my IPad today. Tried on Android - does not even launch. Agree with comments on poor quality language and reporting - has regressed over time. Enough is enough. Was always my go-to news snapshot app.
