EZ-Peak Live
The Traxxas iD system is the easiest and most efficient way to charge your iD-equipped batteries. When you connect an iD-equipped battery to your EZ-Peak Live charger, the battery’s information will automatically be displayed on the app screen. The app allows you to instantly verify your battery’s status and individual LiPo cell voltages with clear and precise readouts. Use the charger’s automatic settings or configure your own with the easy-to-use sliders and buttons on the high-definition graphical interface.
Once charging has begun, the app allows you to monitor the status of up to four connected chargers remotely. Receive real-time updates with charge times, charge progress, mAh input, and estimated time remaining. The app will alert you once the charging cycle is complete or you may also stop the charging cycle at any time. Remote monitoring via the EZ-Peak Live App works within the range of your Bluetooth connection, but remember to always be present to supervise the batteries being charged.
Charging non iD-equipped batteries on your EZ-Peak Live charger requires access to the manual settings. The EZ-Peak Live App is the only way to access these settings. The handy Charge Settings Wizard makes non-iD battery setup a breeze. Helpful menus with high definition images help identify battery types and provide clear and precise instructions. Bold buttons and sliders allow you to choose your settings from the display.
Safety is a prominent feature of the EZ-Peak Live app. The EZ-Peak live charger can be placed in iD Only mode to prevent unauthorized users from accessing the manual settings. It’s a great solution for a charger that will be used in households where there are multiple battery types and different levels of knowledge about batteries and charging. An easy-to-use passcode system restricts unauthorized access to the manual settings while keeping all other functions enabled.

Decent concept, could use some polishing. An "Exit App" button would be a mighty handy addition. Occasionally app just locks up while connecting to charger's, will show the charger, but not let you do anything - have to use the phone to force-close and reopen, usually works right the second time. An option to organize multiple chargers would be helpful too, got 'em all lined up in a row on the bench, but they're never in the same order on the app.
Having this is almost pointless. You can't go more than 10 feet in the same room without losing connection and you can't start a battery on charge from the app which would be nice if a battery acts up and your not near it when the app warns you. Only reason I keep the app is so I can charge "non Traxxas" batteries.
This app is an absolute joke! Buggy as hell! Won't connect 90% of the time and when it does connect I don't dare leave the app because it'll never connect again. Clearing cache and wiping data to start over does not fix the problem. I'm tech savvy and all firmware and software is up to date.
I recommend this app for anyone who is going to stick to traxxas batteries it is amazing what you can do with this app it makes it so you can see every cell percentage, estimated charge time remaining, charge percentage. Its awesome and as for the loud beeping after charging is complete it depends what volume your phone is at is how loud the beeping will be, although it is still loud on purpose so you know charging is complete. Lipos are no joke people.
App used to work fine before, but now everytime I go to use the the app with the charger I have to unpair the charger from my phone then repair it. I used to just be able to plug the charger in and turn on my bluetooth and it would connect automatically. And it never works on the first attempt at pairing it. Also why does a battery charger need to know my location? That's just stupid! Only reason I'm keeping the app is so I can charge a non traxxas battery. Fix the app!
could be more informative. for instance why remove mah sent to battery after charge completes. why not use a service that keeps connection to the charger awake so that memory management doesnt keep you from battery finished alerts without keeping the phone and screen awake. it works well but could be better. thanks
Constantly will not connect to any of my Android devices. This is the 3rd time I have reinstalled the app to see if it will connect... and cycling the power on both the charger and devices do NOT correct the issues. EZpeak 12amp
Very unstable. Hard to link to Bluetooth most of time. And connection drops. Then reconnect and amp charge drops and charge becomes very slow. Pretty frustrating 😕
Will not stay connected to charger and you have to have the GPS on in order for it to work. Other then those issues it works great. The charger itself works great.
It works fine but I have 2 complaints. 1, I HAVE to use this app to charge 3rd party batteries, which is annoying. 2, the app makes my phone beep obnoxiously loud and it's super annoying.
Got absolutely no complaints about this charger. Charges my 3s and 4s lipos great! For those experiencing pairing issues on Android, try enabling your location before pairing. Both my Galaxy Fold and Note 8 work like a charm!
Never had a single problem with this app since the batteries can be very dangerous and have to be monitored this app is perfect
Fyi you connect through app not BT settings. Buggy. I also wish it would keep the charging stats after finishing(the sec its done all details disappear) i mean for $100+ the app cant keep a log of mahs and other numbers....cmon traxxas.
I personally have not used the app yet but I believe it could use some remodeling the app feels so 2013. I have seen people use seems to work great still.
Had issues pairing to my Note 8 as well. Try this method and it should work. Turn your location on. Make sure the locating mode is in battery saving mode. Re-pair the charger to the device and you should be good to go!
will not connect to the Galaxy 8s, the phone is some 2 years old. it says "wrong password entered" but does not give the opportunity to enter a password.
Got the new ez peak charger and cannot find the password to link it to my bluetooth anywhere so ya kinda worthless tried the normal 1111 and 0000 and I think I tried 1234 and still nothing so not sure where to go from here any suggestions would be awesome thx
charged bats this morning fine. now charger won't connect so I cant put them in storage mode once again traxxas extras dont work! this is why I no longer buy traxxas stuff constantly let's you down with no support anywhere. traxxas charger next to be sold and buy a no hassle proper charger from a consistent company!
i hate that i have to use my phone to charge my non Traxxas batteries. without this app you can't charge them. other than that it's a good app.
Does not connect BT. BT blinks stop so quickly that app/phone can't connect by that time.

you shouldn't leave youre batteries unattended but this helps you keep an eye out.
It can connect only once.. Then disconnect and cant detect anymore

It never connects to BT ...when it does it boots you off ..
Great app, graphics, and usability. The bad reviews here have NOTHING to do with Traxxas app development. It's Google and how they love changing things around left and right making it difficult for developers to stay up to date. Otherwise, awesome app, Bluetooth works great with no connection drop.
