EZGlitch: 3D Glitch Video & Photo Effects

Love the app and they even let you watch an ad instead of paying for a one time use of any of their premium filters. I love this model because you get to pay with a small amount of your time in order to essentially try the filter before you fully commit financially and what's more is the filters that are free from the start are some of their best ones anyway. Not to mention the ads I have gotten by using the free version are not significantly obtrusive as most others. Small ad upon export. 5★'s

This app would be exceptional if it worked. I have a galaxy s8 and I purchased the full version that contains the best video effects I have ever seen! The problem is when I try to export videos the product is often not what I see during the editing phase. Changing the background color on the 3d effects affects only the preview and not the final exported video. It's such a shame because it would be such a great app if it worked and if it had more tweaking options when exporting videos.

I enjoy this app a lot! There are a lot of very cool effects that can be personalised to be more or less intense and only a few of them are for the pro users (but they can be unlocked by watching ads too!). There are not too many ads and the interface is pretty easy to work with. The only complaint I have is that I cannot put two filters on the same video, like for example if I wanted to make the video brighter (which is an effect available) and then add a glitch, it just doesn't work.

first of all this app is very ambitious and useful.I would give it four stars, however there seems to be an issue with the video audio after using the application. the edited footage doesn't line up with the audio after it has finished processing. At least when using the press and hold function that is. If you fix this in an update I will gladly buy pro!

I'm enjoying it thus far. Plenty of effects for free, and the one time payment is definitely my favorite method of accessing full features. I've finally found an affordable and powerful alternative to the Late Glitché app and I'm really happy. I hope you do not change too much! Adding extra filters for more one time payments would be fine, but please do not switch to a subscription model! I've seen that move ruin too many amazing apps over the years. Major thanks to the devs for this. ❤️

the selection of effects available for free & the fact that pretty much every one can be tweaked to the users liking is very impressive. Many effects can be applied as animated gifs either automatically or manually, depending on the effect. On my Samsung Galaxy J3 I've had no issues with crashes or bugs. As with almost any app, there's adverts, but they're presented in a way that doesn't interrupt the user while manipulating images/videos. Fantastic app!

I'm happy with the workspace layout. A good solid variety of fx. Even has an option for using advanced features for free in exchange for you eyeballs on an ad. But, like others, I'm holding off on purchasing the full version until I'm confident about the save function error. UPDATE: the recent update does appear to have fixed the save issue on longer videos! Will be considering purchase in the near future. Nice to see developers actively respond to user issues.

Edit: So I have to revise this rating once again because while the app itself is good I found my entire EZ Glitch folder of saved images with an exclamation mark (!) and no image data to pull up. For some reason these are only cached or temporary saves? I have no idea, but have found better tools since that have no problems saving my data like a normal app should. Kind of a waste of money, and time really.

I will change this back to a 5 star review If the developers will fix one major issue. When pressing back, the message should say something other than "are you sure?". A good replacement might be, "All changes will be lost, are you sure you want to exit?" or "would you like to save before exiting?" I've lost sooooo many great pieces of art by pressing the back button and accidentally exiting without saving and it's absolutely heartbreaking

well that's a little frustrating. I paid for the pro version of this app, and the very first time I have tried to save an animated gif of one of the simplest glitch effect, it just sits there forever saying 20%, and never actually saves the gif. same thing on the second attempt. It just sits there at 20% forever and then eventually comes back and says that the app isn't responding and asked me if I want to kill it. I'm wondering why I paid for this. okay A little update. only first effect?

the effects are great, but it overwrites files and misplaces them, and generated gifs look nothing like the preview (usually a different effect/speed, etc.) and it's very easy to just lose an item that you spent time on. not only the version you are editing but also the original. It has made for a confusing experience.

I use this app regularly and love it! Recently I have encountered a problem when I try to export a picture as MP4 (through autogif). It just infinitely tries to load the preview before I can save it. If I save it anyway it doesn't work at all. Tried resetting my cell and it hasn't fixed it. On a Pixel 2 XL running Android 10. Exporting as a gif works fine, just MP4 behaving strangely. 🤔

It was a good app to add effects to one's video or picture files and pretty fun to edit. However, there are some effects that are too heavy (i.e. barrel blur) for mid-range or older smartphones/tablets to handle in real-time and process. In my case, I edited in a phone with snapdragon 625 and 4gb ram, most effects run smoothly in most of the time. Overall, good app for casual video editing in a phone.

It can create some very interesting images, but its "video" creation is limited - output is a 1-second loop at maybe 10fps, even when MP4 output is selected. It would be amazing if we had parameter options for creating videos - framerate, length, resolution, etc., especially when the preview panes render the effects at whatever the native rate of your screen is!

This is one of the only apps that gives you those cool glitch effects without horrendously cutting back video quality but.... When you try to Place multiple glitch effects over a pre-recorded video the audio and video get out of sync. The video tends to end 10 seconds sooner then it was supposed to, while the audio still plays in the background.

Unusable. App crashes before it even opens. I uninstalled and reinstalled, rebooted my device, but the problem persists. Perhaps an issue develops when I move the app to my SD card? I don't know. Anyway, I'm uninstalling, and trying a different app. Edit to add: Good. Let me know when you've fixed it, and I'll try it again.

A lot of the effects I wouldn't really described as glitch, however they are pretty cool effects that you can definitely combine and use in conjunction with your glitch art projects. Whether you stick with the free version or buy the pro version, I'd say it's worth it if you like distorted lowfi aesthetics.

Great app with a lot of flexible effects. there are definitely things. to improve but this is one of the better video apps just because it gives you your video with no water mark or weird conditionals. -would be nice to apply an effect and keep going without having to save and open the new version -some type of bookmark/timeline/automation interface for different parameters would really expand the possibilities -some more control over save/render quality would be nice

Really good app, I use it often and the effects are great all though some of the effects slow down the video considerably like EZ and barrel vision I think? Itd also be nice if the tap and hold section to use specific effects was easier to use so that it's more pinpointed to stop at a certain point if you need it to be then switch to the different effect.

it's almost perfect. Just wondering if the app will allow, in the future, higher quality renderings on the pictures side & it'd be cool to see a 'randomize' feature...Let me explain...Currently, we can apply multiple glitches to a single picture by pressing apply. Each glitch can be somewhat modified using the levers. What if we could preselect the order of the glitches to apply to the picture & preselect the adjustments to be made, for your app to render the preselections all at once!

Hello, I am unsure as to why every time I am finished editing a video 'video / audio codec not supported' pops up on the screen. I am not much of a file enthusiast, but the same files seem to work fine on all other apps. Could you please give me some insight as to thy this might be happening. Thank you, great effects.

I LOVE THIS APP!😄 There's a lot of glitch apps out there, but this is by far one of the very BEST! You have to pay for the best filters OR you can watch a quick video to use it once for free! The only thing I would change is more light filters & maybe some bokah, some layering, some motion effects that overlap, stickers, and frames. But aside from stuff like that this app has some really cool filter options & ect.

It works on and off for me. The quality is hit or miss and sometimes it won't let me use the free filters. While I have been able to make some incredible stuff with the app, I'm supposed to be making glitchy stuff, not working with a glitchy app.

Videos wont save. I get the "processing" message at the end of the video, but it just spins for a few minutes before it inevitably errors. It used to work fine on older devices, but it's pretty useless now as is

Decent effects on the app. But when I go to make a .gif, it gets stuck and can't progress past 60-70%. I've seen other comments of this happening so it's obvious the dev team doesn't care to fix it. As a photo editor, I recommend you avoid this app.

The only con that made me give 4 stars is the resolution of the exported videos. I always choose the highest bit rate but it still isn't enough. Social media platforms crush your content so by the time I upload videos I've made with this app it looks highly pixelated. Hoping they will give a 4K option. BTW, all of the videos I use this app to edit are already 4K. It would also be cool to be able to add/edit sound, & make videos from multiple photos.
