Ezhuthani Version 2 is a unique keyboard for naive users with Tamil99 and Ezhuthani Keyboard Layouts with full fledged Tamil Suggestion Keywords support with Tamil Reply Message Templates.
We will definitely add more features and more keyboard layouts in the future based on your feedback and encouragements. We tested on major Android phones and Tabs ( version 2.3 and above, for Previous Versions you can use the Ezhuthani 1.0.9 or older versions ). Use the keyboard layout the way you want, and leave your comment with changes and features you want in it.
How to Enable Ezhuthani (Tamil Keyboard) on your Mobile

- Locale and Text
- Select Ezhuthani (Tamil Keyboard).Long press in a text box and select input method and then select Ezhuthani (Tamil Keyboard).
Android Version 3.0 and above
Settings
- Language and input
- Configure input methods
- Enable Ezhuthani (Tamil Keyboard)
- Go Back
- Current input method
- Select Ezhuthani (Tamil Keyboard)
Android Version 4.0 and above
Settings
- Language and input
- Enable Ezhuthani(Tamil Keyboard)
- Select Default
- Select Ezhuthani(Tamil Keyboard)
Other Steps to ensure working of Ezhuthani :-
After installation, you can verify the Ezhuthani Installation, Open “Settings” and go to “Language and Keyboard”
- you can see the Ezhuthani Keyboard on listing.
To Make Input method as Ezhuthani Tamil Keyboard. Theoretically, you can use with any textbox ( SMS, Search or wherever the textinput requires), You can find a keyboard icon at top left of title bar, please click on that.
Choose an input method such as "Ezhuthani Keyboard." Your Android Mobile will now use this method. You can find Ezhuthani Tamil Keyboard Controls to type Tamil, Enjoy!

Why am I getting advertisements in the purchased version of the software? It was a nice software. I bought this in the month 2018. If I have to buy again (newer version), I should be given the option for the same. But I am not given any option for that either. Please check. I will change ratings if this issue is fixed. Edit: Fantastic! Quick response from the developer. The issue is fixed now. I have also changed the ratings from 3 to 5!
Very easy to use Tamil language keyboard with Facebook , Whatsapp
Thanks for giving voice support.It works fine.Also, have a suggestion.The keys appear very close and due to this, when you press the intended key, actually our finger, lands in the nearby key and causes typo error.May be, this could be the case with persons who have a high finger width.But,to serve even those persons, it would be better,if the spacing between the keys is well increased to avoid wrong landing of fingers. Please help by revising the layout to provide more space between keys. நன்றி

there are 2 types one "TAM" and other " அ”. if we select TAM we are unable to find the dot( . ) to place on letters (உ-ம்) க, க். also it shows two layers. Upper has english alphabets and punctuations lower contains Tamil Letters. How to get the upper layer typed. Using "shift" key is not helping. Also in voice typing for every word we have to activate the mike symbol. After completing one word it goes off. The mike shd be ON till we dismiss it.
I am using it for the last 4 years. User friendly. Good and so easy to do tamil messaging. At your new starting you feel some difficulties. After 10 days of regular usage everyone would like to travel with it. Good app.
App is excellent, but the advertisements which blocks the screen sporadicaly is too much irritating. Ad is needed for revenue, but not compromising app quality. Wont even get a chance to give feedback on the ad covering the page. Good app but bad advertisements.
Don't download. Very hard to use and very bad app. Very small keypad. Takes so much time to type the words. There is no transliteration feature. These services people keep pestering me to the change my review. This is 10 year old app. There are better ones nowadays. 😡
Very useful and friendly Tamil Keyboard
Great App ! In the recent days after the introduction of that feature phonetic key it decrease the size of the usual space bar so that I feel so annoyed while typing ! So could please provide any option to remove that key in order to increase the space nar ro same old usual size !
It is a great Utility App serving Tamil and Tamils.Keyboard facilitating Tamil Typing, Tamil Calendar and many more.Newly added convenience of Tamil Voice support is amazing.In essence, app is the best in its class.At the bottom of theme-selection page, share appears wrongly as "பகிறுங்கள்".Please correct as "பகிருங்கள்".Also, please have more spacing between keys in keyboard.Many a time, when we want to press a key, finger falls on the nearby key due to less spacing.Pls help to give more space
I have been using your app for several years and stopped since 6 months as i found that typing is difficult due to the small height of the keyboard. I am not able to increase the height unlike in other Tamil keyboard apps. Kindly enable keyboard height adjustment also. Otherwise your app is doing a great job 👍
For tamizh typing purpose this app is good. There is a serious trouble in using this keyboard for bilingual purpose because very high typing errors, no speed and accuracy. Overall experience is fair, please help us to avoid chaos. For typing this itself it took nearly 10 minutes. Sorry if it hurted you
Where is (1) The voice mic, (2) The multiple words' appearance, when we begin to type a first letter in Ezhuthani Keyboard.

Best App for Tamil Voice typing and key board is also superb. The only drawback is English Voice typing is not working. If English voice typing is function as usual , then this App will become the No 1 App in the field of VOICE TYPING.

Bro... I just installed Ezhuthani in my Note and I'm unable to view the options for the style of keyboard, that is, classic and modern styles which I was able to use in my OnePlus. Only the classic style is available as of now... And I want only the modern style. Please update me... And by the way... your app is very very useful for me.... One of the best apps for typing Tamil easily...
While typing on keyboard i am facing some problem. While typing on keyboard Again and again my chat box jumping below (Auto scrolling) while rummy circle advertisment displayed. Every 1 minute it happend freequently. Please make a update for this problem. I am going to uninstall the app because of irritating advertisment

Simple even for those who may not be too familiar with Tamil font keying in.
Some times Key board view produces improper sizes . At that time we have to rotate phone and then only it comes to normal lay out. Otherwise evrything perfect. அற்புதம்.....
