I have been using this app for a year. I have had no problems and have felt safe online because it checks every site I visit and warns me of any danger a site might contain. Once installed, you can forget about it, as it works in the background and just gives update when online.
Amazing app and interface. Really enjoying it so far I will let you know if I find bugs or flaws or if I have suggestions. great job above and beyond on security and protection from all the horrible things our there ....
I am liking the F-secure host of apps. The browser is my favourite. I haven't run into any issue yet I will purchase the product after the trial if everything continue to go smoove. 💯
I don't understand why this app scan my smartphones just when turn on WiFi!?😑 unfortunately I don't spend more time than expected..
I have been using six f secure products for the last 20 plus years everything is user friendly easy to use and very up-to-date every time I turn on the computer or my cell phone I have the programming set up to do auto updates I have a daily scanning of computer and cell phone at a prescribed time the easiest programs to use for antiviral ID protection and passwords McAfee Norton Kapersky overrated.🙃
So far so good , only used the free trial so far , found it very responsive and easy to use, looking into getting it installed now, it was recommended by a friend of mine.
This app is fine until your subscription is coming to an end then it a bloody pest very time you open your computer or tablet it comes up ive got 8day so yes i know i have 8days then it just stays on your tablet and takes you straight to renew subscription page stop trying to force me to renew i will decide in 8days time thankyou
Works behind the scenes. Doesn't seem to slow or interfere with system operation. I like the secure internet.
The app seems to work very well. The only thing I do. Ot like is that it does not autofill saved passwords in Google. Therefore, I can't log into my Google account.
Great app. It's shocking to see how many apps on one's phone can violate your privacy. Goodbye Facebook Messenger, which somehow reads your SMS messages even when the Android permission is set to deny reading SMS. Thanks for the great app F-Secure!
Would give it a higher review if they fixed scheduled scan functionality as currently even with scan on boot disabled and scheduled scan set it scans on every boot thus bogging down the device and other apps until you manually disable the non requested scan, just saying...
I like this antivirus. Reliable and easy to use. Very good detection rate and low impact on Android. I think I'll have to try f -secure PC version.
Excellent source of mobile security, featuring good integration with the handset and allowing the user to configure the right settings to use as an unregistered user or with a subscription.
star rating probably Google are to blame & F-Secure itself would have higher star rating although wish it had few more features & more user settings! ** review made by device administrator! - so unfortunately less than 1'days in of 30'days premium trial i was forced to uninstall this good if slightly basic app! - the reason: shockingly although nothing ever crashed surprisingly F-Secure, Google Play Services & Google Play Store were literally at war behind the scenes causing huge Ram loads!!
It is a very good application but if it was with a free subscription without expiring it would have excellent and Superb as I am not getting any of the free Antivirus software with free subscription.
call blocker and anti theft gone? 2 of the 3 main features. will not be renewing my subscription. even if its not F secure fault its no loner worth the money.
Demands permission to make and manage phone calls to install. Not seeing an AV app needing to MAKE phone calls. Calling BS. Uninstalled. Adios.

Is there any way to remove that notification at the top of my screen? I couldn't find any way. Such a notification is unacceptable to me. Until I get a response I will remove the app from my phone.
But can't find what the cost of subscription is in the app? Gpay only shows that I forfeit all rights to cancelation that I have to approve first, which is fishy.
By the nature of the software I don't really know, but no news is good news. Easy to use and not resource intensive.
Not updating. Not scanning quickly enough, seems laggy. Deleted for now.
I dont mind it but what I do mind is being forced to use the safe browser when I perfer to use chrome but in this app it's forced on you to use it.
It works well, and doesn't use much ram. Hardly notice it's there. And with the VPN, makes one anonymous on the net.
no clear distinction in the description regarding features exclusive to premium and those which are free.
Once I got all of the apps installed I have been very happy. It is not simple because of all of the levels but once you do the true power shines through. I think most people give up to soon and never get to experience all of the benefits of the F-Secure ecosystem has to offer which is sad.
