F-Secure SAFE

Ive tried many different antivirus apps, and theyve all failed, except for one, but it only did ONE of the things was supposed to. This is the BEST OF THE BEST. Making it better is its minimulistic interface, oh so powerful, but not a different complicated settings noone understands. I can manually do scans, or schedule them, family options, even scanning my router. Im using the free trial for now, i doubt ill be able to afford the paid version, but its worth every penny, if i could

Best, non-intrusive anti-virus software. Easy to navigate, easy to tailor it to your needs I.E. Setting up weekly scans, I come back to F-Secure through my ISP and Inhad forgotten how good they are. So, if you're looking for a no-fuss anti-virus software and ain't one of the big ones, this is it. Oh, and you can fully trust it.

Scan is heavy slow, almost take 40 min. Other Anti-Malware apps take just 1min. Why??? But F Secure Safe in Windows has fastest Scan and fantastic. But in Android it's pathetic.

The desktop version works flawlessly on both Windows and Mac, but on Android it is a subpar product. It keeps running full scans multiple times a day even if it has absolutely no reason for it, and it eats up the battery in the process. Also, safe browsing should be able to protect the top browsers (chrome, firefox, samsung browser, edge) as on desktop. I hope you will release a completely reworked app for mobile in the future.

It offers protection, but it works very unstable and as the result it drains the phone battery unnecessarily. After restarting the phone it scans the whole phone 3 times! Why?! One scan isn't sufficient or it is designed to "best out of 3" results? LOL

Samsung S8 most definitely slows down browsing at times. The secure browser crashes when you use the find on page function. Ocasional to regular to occasional DNS error in their PRODUCT with browser showing "Web page not AVAILABLE". THEY HAVE NEVER BOTHERED TO LIFT THEIR FINGER TO FIX THESE DNS ERRORS. Would be good to raise a ticket but i looks like a proper ball ache. You can't even contact them from the app. Never again.

Since I downloaded this app for use on an android phone it seems to drain my battery life much quicker. I downloaded this as I have used the F Secure product on my computer for years which is excellent but when you have to keep in charging the android phone due it being battery life being drained quicker it isn't ideal to use on an 'on the go product' unless you carry a portable battery charger with you. For this reason alone I will have no choice but to delete the application from my phone.

Just feel very confident with this app. Have had difficulties at times when renewing through third party's.... When going direct always polite and helpful... As I am not very literate on computer or android phone customer service support are very tolerant and understanding.

I use this app on my phone and computer but now it not letting me use it on my tablet it won't load and on the app store its saying that this app may not be optimised for my tablet even known it was the first thing I downloaded on it over four years ago. Hope the apps developer can sort this problem. Thank you for your time.

Latest version doesn't seem to work. I just have a notification that it's running plus frequent messages about a power intensive app! If I try to open the app just get a blank screen.

It is not web protection if I have to use the safe browser every time I want to visit a webpage! I am using microsoft edge browser and turns out that this antivirus does not work with edge, and the so called web protection is only available in the safe browser! :(

Seems to work well and have had no issues. If you have a Virginmedia Broadband then this app comes as part of the package that protects your computer, at an excellent price.

Forced to keep notification active, preferred previous version where it'd check newly installed apps without being constantly visible on device. Option to revert to previous version, or enable/disable in app would be great. Cheers,

This app should have a setting to always show the remaining time in the notification area. Also, every once in a while some background app will consume all allowed time which is very annoying.

I'm not recommending this app. F-Secure do not let you ignore apps ("infected apps") or those alerts, only options are now: 'Remove' and 'Cancel'. In case you false positive, you need to report it, you will make all the work. Instead providing information and tools, they think you are not able to make a correct decision and/or take a full responsibility of your own action/decision, like EVERY other security apps let you do. I just removed every product from them, and i found out I'm not alone.

Literally 30 years of experience if not more. Can't go wrong with this group of experts great advice and lovely apps easy to use nice visual also. Thank you for giving piece of mind back to the people. All I can say is download f secure give it ago and you won't be disappointed. All the apps are worth it thanks guys and girls.

good app however no longer supports anything below Android 5. if you can still buy new tablets running Android 4 then you should really still support that version. still works if already installed but you lose it if you have to do a factory reset

Cannot add new devices to an existing account. Anti-virus says it cannot work on the phone if you have no net connection. Very sad for ppl in rural areas. Great on PC, but on Android we shall see.

I have Fsecure on my laptop, desktop and phone, for me personally it's the best Internet security I've used, its easy to delete one device to add a new device, I've had Fsecure for a number of years now and I'm more than happy with it so will continue to use it, would highly recommend Fsecure

Good protection but couldn't make a purchase on eBay thus tells you you,ve entered a trusted payment site with PayPal but it dont actually let you pay for your goods I tested this when I uninstalled the app and bingo I could pay again so unless this discrepancie gets fixed I,m not reinstalling

App detects unwanted programs then crashes everytime you attempt to remove them. Please fix ASAP!!!

This app is now compromised as it constantly keeps shutting down. Despite reporting problem, nothing changes. I will hot renew it.

Good app but subscription price is very high. Monthly subscription not provided. Need improvement. Give monthly subscription low price like Norton security. Thanks... 🤘

I've been using F secure for many years on three devises and it's worked without a problem, just renewed the annual subscription and realised I could also use it on my phone with in an hour of installing the app it found malwear lurking and has removed it, in my opinion F secure is better and has less impact on devises than other well known antivirus apps.

Really Bad, I hope no one downloads this app, it is too restrictive and burdens you from everything without any cause or valuable reason. I've had an awful experience of anti-virus and restriction software due to this app. I am extremely disappointed and dislike this app, I hope that the programmer removes the restrictions that this application forces on users and makes it a stand-alone anti-virus application.

Your app eating my battery! Its week old phone samsung galaxy A52 5G and overnight your app drained 15% of battery. No other apps are running in background.... terrible I have purchase whole year subscription and CANNOT use app your app on this device....as 10/07/21 your app still drains battery, 14% overnight....I won't be renewing next year...
