Fabby Look — hair color changer & style effects

It's certainly not perfect. It misses some hair towards the bottom and if your hair is light, it can't put dark colors like black on it. But it's a really good tool for telling what colors will look good with your skin and it's super fast since the app does it all. I would recommend a color picking tool in the future that let's you pick your own color and shade

This app receives a solid 1 star from me, I'm highly disappointed. I saw so many amazing reviews, and I want to dye my hair red soon, I wanted to see what it will look like! I opened up the app and put in a clear photo of all of my hair. It just flickered on the screen with bits of red, I tried this again with three more new photos, good lighting too. Nothing worked, each time all I got was a red fuzzy flicker on my screen like a broken TV but with red...

In the nicest way I can put this, this app is one of the least effective photo editing apps I have ever tried. ( and I have tried A LOT ) I gave this app a few tries with various different photos from obscured hair to perfectly visible hair. Lemme tell you. It did an equally terrible job on all of the photos I tried. If you are a novice photo editor, just lookin for a quick, clean hair adjustment for your instagram, you will not enjoy this app. It has no manual touch up options if the detector missed a few strands, which it will miss quite a few. Ill give this app one thing though, it sure is quick and simple. Yeah, quick and simple to realize it doesnt work too great. Honestly, the makers of this app, there is one thing you could plug into an update that would make this much more user friendly. That is, manual editing options. Such as, a brush and eraser tool to clean up the edges. That would really really enhance the quality of this app. Okay, Im done being the Simon of editing apps.

There are better apps, I've tried many. This one needs a few things to be successful: 1) Ombre hair dye effect. Preferably with a sliding transition bar to show where the user wants the ombre to start. Don't forget to include a "no color" option for the ombre top/bottom. 2) Customizable brightness/contrast (shine). 3) Larger color selection or hue customizer. 4) Manual hair selection because it doesn't select all the hair on its own (which is okay, but let the user make corrections).

Finally, an app where you don't have to paint the hair yourself. Doesn't pick up parts where the hair is shiny but it's easy to use and efficient to give you an idea of what shades suit you. My only critique would be to expand on the variety of shades available. Like add white, jet black, darker shades of unnatural colours and maybe some pastels. Some browns would be great too.

Truly impressive, first time that I see a real time color changer. Some colors weren't as convincing as others but I guess the original hair color could be messing with them. If you look close enough you can see that it also colors the skin near the hair but I guess that's preferable to having parts of the hair that are not colored.

So it doesn't work properly , the green color did not work it was kinda fried whit blue for whatever reason . And it talks here about "other style changes" Wich there are none you put in a picture it loads for a while then you get to choose between some random colors like dark blue,light green, red, pink, blond, Braun, black. You can not change anything about the colors the one that they choose are the ones that you get nothing more. And that's the whole app that's all there is .

Definitely the best app Ive seen for experimenting with hair color. It does a pretty decent job automatically outlining the hair in real time which makes it super fun and easy to use. My only qualm is the relatively limited choice of colors, but Im sure that will change with updates.

I was looking for platinum blonde. I'd imagine a lot of potential downloaders may be also, so this is a pretty dramatic oversight. This shows better and more realistic coverage than other apps, but it's really limited otherwise. I think a color wheel could improve this app 100%, allowing users to move an icon across to find their desired color.

Well you guys are very good... The app is near perfect. The odds are the lack of color choice, you can add a collor palette. Also add an eraser and more flexible cropping frame. Add multicoloured effects--the one that can be edited or can be custom. But all in all the app is good...also add amore basic but simple user interface. I await for more good updates.

Ideally I'd like to give this 4.5 stars because it really does change your hair colour in real time (no faffing about with selfies) but it loses half a star for only having extreme colours. I mean it's great to know that my hair would look amazing pink, but that doesn't help me decide what boring colour to go for at the salon that's safe for work. Otherwise great.

It's actually pretty good. Better than the other cheap apps lol. It's mainly just a color filter applied over video. It does what it says it does. Not top notch, but great for a free app. 😊👍

I am honestly super impressed with this app. It picks up my hair very easily, especially in the live preview mode. It would be cool to have more color customization options (lighter, darker, etc) but the colors offered are a good start and overall I'm happy!

Works a lot better than similar apps. I wish there was a way to add more than one color to your hair, but it still works beautifully to test how you might look with a wide range of hair colors.

it's great at detecting your hair and coloring it. however in photos taken with it my skin looks smoothen out, to the point where it looks like im a plastic doll. id like a feature to turn this face smoothing off but if your looking to change your hair in photos it gets the job done well enough

Downloaded, tried, uninstalled. Video lags. Poor selection of colors. The available colors do NOT relect color shown on video filter. The filter covers your hair like a bad lipstick job. Original color can still show, especially if you have dark hair, like drawing over a picture of a black hole with a yellow highlighter. I'm calling this app discriminatory against black/dark haired people.

It's the only hair color app that I found that works as soon as you open it without having to take a picture! You don't have to "paint" your picture to test the color either! I was able to move my hair around and really get a sense of what that color would actually look like on me!

It missed most of my hair and it was flickering in and out. I have a buzzed head, there isn't much hair to even edit and it couldn't do it right. If anything, it was trying to color hair that wasn't there. The photos I have, show most of the background shaded in the colors I was trying. Not to even mention the poor selection of colors to look at.

It does what it says but I hope you guys can add more colors... I hope you can improve it by allowing us to customize the colors 😊 Thanks for creating a real-time filter (which is exactly what I was looking for) to see how my hair would look like in color. 💯 Keep on improving please 😊

Other than not being able to choose a photo from gallery it was alright but not amazing. Most of the hair colors available to choose from are blurry, when taking a picture it comes out somewhat blurry, lastly it needs more hair colors to choose from :(

This app is great! Super easy and fun. It gives you ideas on what colors look good with tour skin undertone. Just take a picture of yourself, then pick the different colors. It puts the color on your picture. I only wish there were more colors to try out. I love this app though!

Forces you to crop the photo into portrait mode, doesn't pick up all of the hair, and has limited choices. I think it needs the options to choose a colour from a colour wheel or have a hue slider. Also the cropping function is stupid, please remove it if you want anything above two stars.

its not as bad as some people are saying. not as amazing either. it does the job and shows you different coulors i just wish you could create custom coulors as theres a limited number. to its credit, it automatically sets the coulor on your head instead of having to set a brush outline yourself. you can't really do anything else with it though so its kind of a novelty.

Not the very best graphics & light colors don't work well on dark colored hair. Depending on if your hair is dark or light, theres a totally different effect. BUT my hair is NATURALLY RED & I had only ever dyed the bottom half, but after playing with this app... I DYED ALL MY HAIR BLACK. And I LOVE it!!

this is a pretty good app to see what your hair color will look like but I have black hair and I wanted to see what it would look like if I was borned and it wouldn't lighten my hair up enough! It just really late and it up but the other colors to show through pretty good so I think it depends on what your hair color is depends on how well the colors that they have on the app will work so I give it 4 stars

Live Pic only! Good but very limited colors. Gets most of my hair if neat & proper light. Would like to try Platinum or Silver & other colors. Wants Google login which can be skipped but makes me uncomfortable. IDK if they keeping my pics or what. For basic real-time color shots it works well. Would be better with a color Wheel or similiar. Note 10plus OS11.

Simple to use. Fun. Quick. It's great to see what different color of hair I would look like in. I also would like to be able to try different styles as well such as curly , straight, long, short, and hair pulled back, ponytail and other styles.

I'll be honest for me this app worked perfectly it was easily able to detect my hair and colour it real time. My only concern is the photos look a bit odd. They make eyes and the face look a bit off. Also can I please ask for the devs to add white as a colour option!!
