FAIRWINDS Mobile Banking

Convenient and secure. I use the mobile deposit feature the most, as well as checking my accounts before and after purchases. As long as photos are clear and checks are not horribly torn up, the app does an excellent job depositing money into your account. It saves me a trip to the bank, and makes transferring money from accounts efficient and simple. 10/10 would bank again.

Simple, clear, easy to use interface, and transfering money from one account to another is a snap! I really enjoy how quick everything is, and the fact there are no ads (at least none that I can recall) makes it that much better. Every bit as easy as being on a laptop. And FYI if u need to access your statements, just click the more button at the bottom right corner of the page and scroll down to additional services, and there you will find your statements. It times out too fast and no checking history past 12 months. Bill payer options are limited and has no electronic ACH payment options like at other credit unions. They mail checks and you have no way of knowing if they arrive on the date they are supposed to unless you call the party to whom the check is addressed to and sometimes they don't get it on the specified date. There's no option to show the Password you enter so you can correct mistakes before going to account lock out.

The app is great for everything BUT Check deposits. I had to uninstall the app and reinstalled it just to deposit my Pay check! It's really anoying, hope they fix this problem soon.... It's been about a month and they still haven't fixed the problem with the deposit, I told them when I call, and I even told them when I went to the union. Still had to install it twice before I can deposit.

Fix the mobile check deposit! It shouldn't take multiple attempts to snap a picture of a check in the 21st century. We have amazing smart phone cameras that the app doesn't know how to take advantage of. Edit: removed one star because this is getting ridiculous, after a year of this not being fixed. I'll never get how, with smartphone technology where it is, you're lucky to get a decent picture with this app. And even if you do, there's a 75% chance it won't be accepted.

Your remote deposit on Android is REALLY bad. Half the time the check is captured, but later I get a message that something was wrong, and it never got deposited!!! Other times it snaps the picture, then later I get a message that it was out of focus, but it's the app that did the focusing!!!

Really annoying ads. There seems to be versions of the app that work a lot more smoothly when the ads don't show upon exiting the app. It's also annoying to do one more step just to exit the app after seeing an ad I'm not interested in. Otherwise, it's simple and easy to use.

I was really loving this app. It helped make banking and checking on my account simple and convenient. However, now I can not get past the log in page and the app shuts down. It's very upsetting, because I am expecting a significant change and can't even look at my account. I'm considering an uninstall. I don't want to, but this is disheartening and I won't keep trying something that won't work.😞

The app lets me do just about anything I could do in house. From transferring money to other accounts, mobile depositing checks that are available within minutes, to opening new accounts. Great app, rarely have issues and when it does they are on top of it probably before you even realize there is an issue!

Extremely simple, user-friendly, and very efficient. Has to be one of the best mobile banking apps out there. Can transfer funds in and out with ease and even deposit checks. Highly recommend this if you have an account with Fairwinds!

This past week it is not showing all my purchases and then a day or 2 later they are posting. It is no longer keeping up in real time. I login and then it crashes. I have issues seeing my activity or it will say no activity. I have to log off & log back in which is pretty annoying.

I used to be okay with the app. Easy to use, plenty of features, touch ID login. However, at some point they disabled widgets - and to be honest the widget on my phone app letting me always know my balance was a good 55% of the reason I didn't switch to a different local CU. Now I'm severely considering it

The app is alright. I can do most banking operations, like transfers, really easily and quickly. The only problem I have is that the detection for mobile deposit checks is not very good on Android. I frequently need to spend 5+ minutes to deposit my checks because it cannot read my endorsement on the back. Very frustrating.

Had the app for years and it's always been good, but recently they changed the UI. It looks a lot nicer, but the account charges commonly don't show up and I have to reopen the app. The text font and size for the charges aren't as nice on the eyes as they used to be imo.

Absolute worst banking app ever. It takes me 5 minutes just to log in my account to see it through the app when I never have problems with any of my other bank accounts and any of my other apps ever. This is an everyday thing

So tired of this app. It offers fingerprint but everything they do an update to the app you have to login with password again which you most likely forgot, and they do updates constantly. Also the app often shows a blank page when trying to view account details. Starting to get really annoying how unstable the app is when the app is the primary image of a bank these days. I've been with this bank for a long time but I'm officially over it. Poor credit card offerings poor savings rates,why stay?

It's fairly easy, transfers are fast and easy. I've had the app two years I think and the site has only been down for maintenance probably twice? Very accessible for most all bank uses. Also not very many ads which I love.

The photo capture works terrible. I have to take the picture multiple times to get it to accept the image. The picture looks like a 1950's photostat. The other bank I use takes an actual photo that looks like a picture. If you're going to offer 21st century technology then use 21st century tech. Not at all impressed with the mobile deposit feature. Everything else on the app works ok. Mobile deposit is very frustrating.

So easy to use. Love it. I used to call the bank every single time I wanted to know how much money was in my account. I didn't want to download the out because I didn't want to do online banking for fear that my phone would be hacked but it's so easy to use and so worth it to just be able to look it up online. You have a strong enough password there's really nothing to worry about plus all the safeguards that the credit union puts in place. Great app simple and easy.

Terrible UI/UX. Should automatically initiate biometrics instead of clicking the text to scan for fingerprint. Also, sometimes my checking account details fails to load, why not show an alert to the user instead of leaving the page empty? I can't copy my account and routing number to my clipboard as well, this should be a no brainer feature.

everything except the mobile deposit works properly. the number of times i have to retake the picture of the back of the check is crazy. The annoying part is it seems to keep the worst picture of the 25 attempts it takes.. its incredibly annoying.

I can use the mobile app on my phone but not on my computer. I will say my computer is not recognized and when I go thru the instructions to reset everything the next time it says my password is not right. This is being going on for months and I was told by a Fairwinds employee that yes there was a problem that had not been resolved. If this continues, I will change bank.

The Fairwinds Credit Union app makes it very easy to do my banking at anytime and from virtually anywhere. I have never had errors or issues with this app. I love the ability to schedule bill paying and to deposit checks easily from my mobile phone. Thank you Fairwinds C.U. ! Dr. Geri K.

Not much you can't do with the app. But if you do have an issue, as far as I'm concerned it has always been 100% satisfaction guaranteed with every call. The absolute best support system I have ever contacted for any problem and any company. I'm just another customer, but on the phone I feel like their biggest and best customer.

App needs serious updates. I cant ever see my transactions. I have to open and close the app several times in order for me to see my transactions. It needs to be more user friendly. I have it on auto signing which hardly ever works. I like the bank but im not happy with the app.

I love Fairwinds, I've been with them for almost 20 years and I've never had an issue. Wonderful customer service and the app is super convenient and user friendly - makes bill pay, transfers and deposits simple :)

Ever since you folks switched apps, I have struggled to pull up the new app and make a Fairwinds credit card payment from my outside accounts. To add to the confusion, the four times that I have called you folks for step-by-step instructions on how to do this, I got four different sets of directions from your staffers who, to their credit, geniinely tried to provide good customer service. Please help me make a payment on my credit card today, so a late charge isn't owed. Thanks.
