About the only thing wrong with this is a lack of a user manual or help function. Yeah, everyone just intuitively knows how to work every piece of software - sorry, not me. I can figure out a lot of it by trial and error, but it would be very handy to have at least a short reminder available to find all the functions. For example, I am simply not able to find the procedure for switching song lists. I can find the place to CREATE a new one, but not how to use it. Maybe it's just me?

Pretty good on providing basic features, but there are some key things missing. Support for multiple pages could be improved: 1. it would be great to be able to take a series of photos for a single piece of music rather than individual photos that then have to be manually renamed so the app links them. 2. it badly needs a half page scroll or continuous scroll so that you can see the end of p1 and the start of p2 at the same time. Having two pages up is fine but only if you've got a big tablet!

I love this app for creating (and keeping) set lists for gigs thanks to the Playlists system. The app has been updated regularly since I started using (around 2019) and chart editing has greatly improved. I wish there were Undo options, when editing a playlist or a chart. But the weakest point for me is the tempo selection: it's quite difficult to enter the tempo accurately via the provided slider. And when opening a chart I wish there was a quicker way of launching/stopping the metronome.

After several days of struggling to make the playlist function work, I finally figured it out with the help of tech support! So now this app does everything I hoped it would, and very well. You have to start with all songs, and click on the icon with 4 dots followed by 4 lines.

Hijacked download of pdf which i told browser to open, from the browser. I had already told the app not to look at my storage and to never ask again. There needs to be a hard setting within the app to switch off all pdf features so it doesnt interfere obnixiously like this. I have never had this type of problem with Musicsheets, that is pretty much purely a pdf app. Just let us import chosen pdfs. Stop trying to grab everything- the opposite of convenient. No screenshot is going to tell more.

Love the app, so Easy Peasy. it does not get 5 stars because when I upload sheets with more then one page the app won't let me transfer the entire song to a playlist. Frustrating. but overall, took me less then an hour to learn how to use it, buy I can't figure out how to have the app play the charts. is that feature available?

The user interface is awkward. I have fakebooks in PDF form, each PDF containing hundreds of scanned pages for each book. The app reads these in ok, but provides no scroll bar or index to access the content. I can bookmark individual pages, but I'd have to create each bookmark by hand. That said, using fakebooks on the author's website works well using the PDFB indexes supplied there. Check to see if the Fakebooks you need are there.

You would think that it would be rather easy to change keys, but this app seems you down a rabbit hole just to transpose, and then it doesn't transpose the chart. The user has to transpose all the chords manually. It has a lot of charts. No lyrics, or melody lines.

Great app. Use it for 3 years already and am very happy with it. However, I have an issue transferring database from one device to another. Could you please give users a bit more info on how to do that? I created a database backup file and transferred it to a new device, but when I'm trying to replace the stock database with it, the app just hangs and nothing happens. Is there another method I should try?

I have had this app for a few years and found it quite useful. However I have accidentally deleted songs while scrolling through and been disappointed that there is no undo function. I don't even know which songs have been deleted. It would help to be able to confirm deletions or undo.

If you don't need playback options, FBP is easier to use than iReal Pro. Entering chord charts is a breeze. For multi - page charts, just create separate charts for each page and add page numbers to the file names. (E.g. Miss You Much (1), Miss You Much (2), etc.) FBP will group the pages as one song. ONE BIG NEGATIVE is that it hijacks all PDF saves to your tablet and saves every page as a separate document. This is a deal-breaker if you need to save multi-page PDFs for other things.

Love the app for what it is. Contains all the real chord charts and some pop charts. The ui is what keeps this from being 5 star. Could use a bit of tidying up and redesigning for convenience sake. Other than that, love it!

Nasty program! Took my music files and filed them under fakebook It would not let me print in portrait mode. Only would allow me to print landscape which does me no good. Wouldn't let me export my music files back to my original folders of my tablets file folder. Deleted the nasty thing and now have to find all my music somewhere out in space.

Update: hello, why is in now the A/B/verse symbol now only show black square? Please help Hey your app has quite a number of bugs. For example after some time writing the chords and text, annotation becomes not possible, and sometimes additional "enter" will be added on written passages. Also can you add pre-chorus, chorus, and interlude symbol as well?

Dan. R. Aug 28, 2019

Bought it to transfer my sheet music for live performances. The only app of it's kind that allows quick access to any song in my large catalog. Very few bells and whistles, but that's what I wanted.

Bra. T. Dec 19, 2019

Pretty basic but it works well for me. I like that I purchased it ans have changed devices a few times and can reload the app and run the manual backup restore and all my songs are on the new device. Im having a tough time installing on this device today but i really like this platform

Realy good now. One minor but annoying issue: When bulk importing songs there is no "select all" function. I had to click on > 600 files individually to import them all, that sucked.

Lon. S. May 5, 2020

I love using this app. Reviewers who complain it doesn't do this or that, simply haven't bothered learning how to do it. That said, the only improvement I can suggest would be to add in-app help, instructions, or more of a tutorial to explain how to use ALL the features. But again, even knowing only as much as I do, it is really quite amazing and incredibly useful.

Great app. Really useful as "database" Good for notation of new songs. Handy for setting up new "playlists" for different jobs. No glitches. Intuitive interface. Five stars.

Mar. K. Apr 7, 2022

Transpose function has glitch. When selected, it jumps to next tune in list making it necessary to load the tune before the one you want to transpose ๐Ÿคจ worked fine in previous version

Der. J. Dec 30, 2019

Excellent app and unbelievable value for the money. Also, amazing customer support too to deal with any questions. Exactly what I was looking for and for the price you simply can't beat it.

Edd. d. P. May 11, 2022

Definitely not what I was looking for. Missing some pretty critical things to and seems insanely complex when it really shouldn't be that complex.

Rad. L. May 14, 2020

It does what it says it will do, and I am already using it regularly for gigging and jamming. However the Django Fakebook downloads aren't working now. Says wrong file format.

Sie. K. Dec 28, 2019

Looks and functions like it was made 10 years ago. Clunky, unintuitive, and -worst of all- gets worse to use the bigger your library gets.

Jul. G. Jul 8, 2021

It is an excellent app! I paid a lot more for another one for iPad, but this absolutely does the same job for a fraction of the cost. Great for jams.

Rai. L. Sep 5, 2019

Not very good when you have hundreds of pdf sheets to import. Would also be easier to have a library structure to open a new sheet. Not made for fast use.

Sha. N. Jan 19, 2022

Crashes constantly now when calling up charts. Used to be reliable, not any more. Reinstall didn't fix. Uninstalled and bought another program.
