I would love to give this game 5 stars but I cannot. As of recently the game has been incredibly buggy. When it comes to the game, it is almost unplayable in my opinion. I am unable to delete AND view puzzles of my own without some sort of failure. My connection has been absolutely fine and yet I still have issues. (I.e; it says i have 5 puzzles but it is only showing one) I am sure I am not the only one experiencing these issues. Please fix this! I am very disappointed on the downfall..

Enjoying the game. It is enough of a logic puzzle to engage me that way and I love when a clever, creative picture emerges. Ads are, as usual with most games, getting more tedious, so I'm unhappy there isn't a single charge available to remove the ads. I just don't want to pay a recurring monthly, rather expensive, fee. (Not as expensive as others but still too much.) Note that I still play often, even through the ads!

Almost perfect! The community is active and creative, giving an endless supply of new puzzles. The sounds and music are satisfying and I've yet to encounter any lag or crashing issues. My only complaint is that the cursor function could be better for larger puzzles. It's too touchy in that it's extremely easy to slide in a direction you didnt intend. I've seen D-pad systems used effectively, particularly in the Picross Galaxy games, that I'd love to see implemented in Falcross. Still, amazing!

I was looking for a new Picross app, and this one has spoiled me! The puzzles have a good difficulty curve. The microtransactions are the most reasonable I have ever seen. I never feel like ads are numbing my mind like other game apps. I also enjoy the little quips that appear when you solve each puzzle. The accessibility options are also great! If you like these puzzles, I would recommend. I never take the time to write reviews, but this was worth it. Only issue: touch screen can be wonky.

Easy to play Picross style game. I love the image descriptions, and I like that there are a lot of the 5x5 puzzles because they're super quick to solve. Great way to kill a few minutes here and there. Clean UI and the simplistic graphics are perfect. There are also larger puzzles to solve which are great when you want to give your brain a good workout.

Update: Nonograms Katana, removes ads, a lot options, just $2. This game is great, but... the timeout (out of energy or token), and then it will require the purchasing of a package for $3 or $10...if you pay you will be able to keep playing or if you watch an ad or video, it will allow you to continue until the next out of energy.I was hoping to be able to buy the game, a one time pay... well let's watch Hulu then I will play more. Sorry, but I will not pay over and over, there are too many good.

I like the game, but don't care for some aspects. First off you lose lives if you make a mistake! Mistakes are how you learn, you should not be penalized, that should be optional. Secondly, I turned auto x and line detective off, yet I still got told on errors and when the line was complete. I prefer to muddle my way through a puzzle without help, and there doesn't seem to be a way for that.

Seems they really made an effort to make the game fresh and exciting, but you also lose smoother gameplay and - most importantly - the ability to make errors. I like to use nearby rows as markers to count overlaps, etc. and you can't do that here bc it'll count as an error. You can't undo or erase a move either. Too bad, bc the game looks great.

It's cute and colorful, but people wanting a good picross experience will want to look elsewhere. It automatically corrects mistakes for you, penalises you when it does so, has no option to disable this feature, requires limited energy to play each puzzle, charges you tokens to retry puzzles after you inevitably tap the wrong tile too many times, which often happens on a small screen...the puzzles are cute and colorful, and community puzzles are fun, but I find myself more frustrated by the awful energy and mistakes system than relaxed by the puzzles. I highly recommend Pixel Puzzle by Konami for a more pure experience, with a dose of nostalgia on the side.

I really like the idea of little descriptions at the end of each puzzzle, but when I complete a row it flashes and hurts my eyes making it hard to play for long. If you do keep this feature please put a warning for the people who could get a seizure. Otherwise a great game, would recommend taking breaks every now and then.

I originally gave this game a 5 but the new update is awful! I understand the need for ads but if I purchased the package why should I be bothered by them? I really do like this game but the new setup is weird and the ads have become more intrusive. Edit: I uninstalled this. It takes me only a few minutes to finish a puzzle with an ad in between. Not worth it.

I like this game. However, I will stop using it soon because of the zoom. I don't like that you can't manually zoom in, that there's only one zoom in option. It zooms in way too close to be functional. Once you hit 25x25, the puzzles are way too small to attempt on a phone. Great concept though. Fix the zoom to allow pinch zooming and I'm sold.

Overall great rendition of this puzzle genre. It's the only one I've seen that incorporates"lives" you lose for wrong boxes. I liked it better before the ads became so intrusive. They used to be easy to escape, so I didn't really notice how often they popped up, but now they force a time.

Of all the picross style games I've played, this is certainly one of them. The energy system seems like a very obvious way to make players spend real money on the game and makes it very tough to get into actually solving the puzzles. I would not recommend this game to a serious puzzle game player, only someone looking to solve three puzzles at a time while on the toilet or something like that.

Easy to learn, fun and challenging. It's nice to pick up for a few quick games or to zone out for an hour and destress. Puzzles are cute and humurous. I like the creativity of creating your own puzzles as well. The ads are the least intrusive I've seen in a game. Really impressed with this game. Definitely worth trying out.

I'd love to give it five stars but when you complete a row theres some small flashing, I looked to see in the settings if there was an option to turn it off but there isn't. i do not have epilepsy but me sibling does, and i'm sure that it would be nice to be able to turn it off as soon as possible as to not cause a seizure for those who have it as well that may potentially download this app. I will gladly change the review once it is fixed, because I enjoy this app. Edit: thank you so much!

This is a rare time for me to really think an app deserves 5 solid stars. This is one of those times. If you like Picross puzzles, this app is a must have. Out of the 6 I've tried this is hands down best one. Best controls, best layout, best features. You won't ever run out of puzzles because you can create/publish/play other people's puzzles. Only complaint is the red notification number won't clear until I leave the apo and come back, but that's so minor. edit: and they fixed it. amazing dev!

It's great and I like the pictures but I wish there was an option to turn off it helping you. By that I mean if I put a square in the wrong spot it doesn't automatically put a red x in the space. I rather figure out what I did wrong than have it automatically correct me. Most picross games do that though and I find it kind of annoying.

Amb. R. Sep 18, 2019

I like the game. I don't like the idea of paying $10 a month to play it. This isn't Hulu. Also, users make a lot of the puzzles, so paying the game for puzzles users make seems dumb. And the game has started making me watch an ad every time I go into a puzzle (instead of just the first time). Too many ads. Too expensive of a game.

Falcross is really fun and addicting. I love finding user-made puzzles, as they always seem to be interesting. The premade ones are also pretty decent too. The ads aren't super intrusive, but they can get annoying. There is a lot of other community-based features in this game too. You can create puzzles which is fun and lets your creativity flow. Falcross is a fun but somewhat standard Picross game.

Amb. R. May 20, 2019

It is way too touchy. If you're too slow then it thinks you're coloring when you're just trying to move one space, but if you're too fast then the buggy thing won't let you hit the space you want. However, you have to use that buggy control on the larger puzzles because even the skinniest stencils will hit three spaces at once.

There is a constant ad bar at the bottom of the screen that makes it impossible to switch between X and square! It literally covers it and makes it impossible to play unless you just always use square and never X. I love this game on my phone and downloaded to my tablet. I'm so disappointed!

Love it! It's a fun and easygoing puzzle game. I've played others like it. But not only is the music great. But the lack of ads is appreciated. I can get through a lot of puzzles before getting hit with an ad. It actually makes me want to support the dev for not drowning me in ads lol.
