KidsControl GPS parenting app turns your phone into a tool for monitoring phone usage and tracking location and safety. Who knows, it might even improve your relationship with your kids!
To get automated alerts when your kid arrives somewhere, create Places (geo fences), such as School and Home. When your kid enters or leaves these areas, your phone receives a notification.
When the phone's battery level falls below 15%, KidsControl GPS tracker sends alerts about this phone, and you can remind your kid to charge the phone.
The report on battery and internet shows you how often the phone is charged, how quickly it drains, and when it's disconnected. You can use this information to tell when your kid goes to bed and gets up. You can also see the stability of the internet signal for the last two days.
To provide precise coordinates, the phone must have Location service enabled. Enabled Wi-Fi increases accuracy to 30-100 feet and works indoors. GPS location has accuracy of 30-150 feet, only outdoors.
When GPS tracking and Wi-Fi location are turned off or not available, KidsControl family locator determines phone's location by LBS coordinates of GSM towers.
KidsControl is not a spying or secret surveillance solution and the app can not be installed remotely or secretly. To join this service user has to install the app himself and enter the invitation code from the inviting user.
Users have the option to stop sharing location for some time or log out from an account or completely delete the app.
The app is visible in programs. Users can share location only inside one account.

Doesn't give the accuracy I needed. My child took a walk in the adjacent reserve & it put them over the other side of town with an accuracy of 3km. So it could tell me the right town, but that's about it. I get that it's the free version, but it's a bit off to make people sit through an ad while they're trying to send an emergency alert to their kid.
Horrible app, bad interface, difficult to tell places people in the circle have been, it would be easier if it showed a list instead of how it is currently. Makes it too difficult to see history. Goes offline randomly for no reason, I've had to uninvite and re-invite more times than I'd like to admit. Life360 is SO much better!
It was not crashed at all. You just had a break to put lots of adverts in. I used to like this app, but now adverts in every 10 seconds, and most of them video, and very loud. Disappointed. Update : stopped working again,uninstalled, reinstalled. No, I am not going to pay for remove the loud adverts, I will find a similar product, this is keeps crashes anyway.
Gave it a bad review before, now I've lowered the score. It don't notify me when somebody are offline (only if I'm offline). Subject 1 left a place (about 10km from home). According to the app she was HOME 1 minute BEFORE she left the other place! They are blaming bad gps for the results, and I know that's not true.. update: have today tested it, and thou even it's set to update every minute, it doesn't, the phone had full bars and WiFi, so there is no excuse for the bad delays between updates.
I recently received a notification to update the full version, which I paid $10 for. After I updated, it stopped working and keeps give me an error message that there is no internet connection. My internet is fine because I am able to sure the web. It's completely useless now.
Is this app abandoned? It was a great app but it does not seem to be working at this point. Notification does not seem to be working on newer phones. Yes, 4g, 5g and wifi are all working just fine. It has been months and the same persistent issue has not been resolved for my family.
Got new phones. App won't stay working. I've given it all the permissions possible and tried to reset it several times either by relogging in or completely resetting it up. Will not connect my phone to the server. Just uninstalled the app and reinstalled added my phone to the account with all permissions. Still doesn't connect to the server, but it does show my phone. Its a S20 ultra 5g. After months of trying and reinstalling it still doesn't work on my phone.
I used the app for 3 years with no issues, after having to resset all my apps, this one is not open on my phone, it says "kids control keep stopping" I bought the premium option 3 years ago, but if I can make it work, I will have to uninstall from all my phones. Customer care haven't answer me in how to fix this problem. So disappointed.
Edit 08/03/21: App fixed, working great again! App has been great for years, but suddenly crashing on opening. Not sure what the issue is, but a factory reset of my phone didn't fix it. Still working on other phones in the family though.
It worked ok till the new update. It gets worse each time after updates. Now it doesn't work at all without wifi after the new update. It used to work without wifi long as my phone has data connection . And even with wifi, it doesn't work most of the time.
It appears that this app is going on "ghost trips". I have this installed on my moms phone and she is currently in a secured nursing home. It shows her phone has been traveling...? Is this possible? Or is someone taking her phone on trips?
