Family Island™ - Farm game adventure

I keep losing out on the extra coins for watching ads because nearly every time I watch one and exit the pop-up, it doesn't credit. It just shows back up like I never selected the ad? Also a lot of these events and new islands are near impossible to complete without making at least 2 or 3 purchases of a minimum of $3.17/ea. Bit ridiculous. The game used to be a lot of fun! Now it's just frustrating and almost pointless.

Starts off slow and tutorials not informative enough. Once I caught on, it was a lot of fun. When first starting, you run out of energy fast and need to wait too long to resume the game. It improves at the higher levels. Also, seems to be a glitch with roasting steak...looks like you have to have sweet potatoes and although I have had all the components to roast the steak it looks like I don't so have been able to fulfill that goal.

I am an avid player of multiple games. It took some time to get into thi game ,but as time passed, I found it a fun and well structured. In the beginning it is easy enough to progress because it happened with little effort. Now at level 20, moving forward is toocostly to upgrade without a potentially sizeable investment of time and money. It's it'difficult to justify spending only to have it taken away in mere minutes. I

The game itself is not even so bad, I like the dynamics of the gameplay but there are some issues. First of all, the loading time when you start the game is way tooooo long and that's why I often decide to don't even open it. Also, the required resources to upgrade anything is insane. 20 of this, 30 of that, just reduce the amount of things you need to upgrade. That's all, imo. 2 stars will become something more when I'll have the game opened in less time than a decade.

I have no idea why but I love this game. Wish the challenges lasted a day or two longer. It would be nice if it ends while you are away that it would give you 10 minutes to go back and collect your items. I do spend money on energy but for those who can't energy can be a problem. The other big challenge is the storage it is difficult to store enough items to complete more then 1 upgrade. Do like that you can fill one item at a time. I do wish Bruce would stop falling it bothers my eyes.

While the game is okay to pass the time, the island challenges are ridiculous. For example, collecting heart fragments cost 130 energy but you are capped at 75. If you've progressed far enough in the game you can get energy from facilities on home base or shaman, but still only enough to remove one. You have to spend tons of money to keep up and even then the energy you get goes quickly because everything costs so much. It's no wonder no one continues playing after a while. It becomes impossible

It was a good game when I just needed to to keep my hands busy. But trying to get things done u run out of energy too fast. Takes awhile to add up. I got to lvl 20 something and after about 4 updates I still havent been able to go on the game. Keeps comming up that error and lost connection. I haven't been able to go on in a few weeks. Going to go ahead and delete.

Whenever I use the rewards calendar, I am not get my rewards. This is frustrating because they will load then you don't see them. Like just now I am supposed to get 150 energy, I click on the reward I received and and I am supposed to get the 3rd gift in the bar space but I opened and nothing. When I looked at my energy bar. The 150 energy disappeared. This is frustrating and it's not the first time thus is happening. Ads as well, whenever I watched them.

Love the game. You can play it without spending money. But it does cost alot of money to finish the unending extra events that happen every 2 to 3 days. It was cheaper but in the last month or 2, it is like someone realized that instead of 2 dollars they can mak 20 for the same amount of energy. Lower the cash cost for the extra events, and you will make alot more money. With gas at 5 dollars a gallon, can't afford the extra money on things not needed. On a side note...WAY TO GO BRANDON!

I had high hopes for this game but I'm so disappointed. I was really enjoying the game, in the beginning it's pretty easy 2 build & upgrade things. The more advanced you get the longer it takes 2 make the materials 2 upgrade & build things. I figured out the time in making finished boards & it takes an 1 1/2 hours just for one. But you need 10-15 finished boards for one upgrade. Seriously? That's just 2 much time & 2 many materials. Energy goes 2 fast also-113 for a tree but you start w/ 75.

Been playing for 2 years now. I like the adventures some old some new. I wish there was more time in between the time limited adventures to work on the home island. I have been noticing craft projects that have been started are gone when I log back into the game. It makes it difficult to fill merchant orders.

I really like this game. It's really a great game to kill some time, but every time it updated I couldn't open it and the game play that I saved on Google Play or Facebook was gone. This is really frustrating, even with the energy and gems you really need to spend to finish the event. I hope they fix the bugs in this game and also make it suitable for those who can spend money.

I really like this game. The story adventure, graphics, colors, characters, etc are all very nice. I can deal with the energy being consumed rapidly and the accomulation of it is very slow but please FIX THE BUGS! Its very annoying when you are in the middle of the game then it suddenly goes blank.

Update!!! This game is STILL horrible! The many different islands you go to and lose energy by trying to complete leaderboard tasks! It's very ridiculous! And the amount of energy it takes to break a rock or to get the items needed to fix stairs or a hole in a new event is crazy! I truly despise this game! Why not have tasks on just ONE ISLAND! THE HOME ISLAND! And then, have a new event every few weeks or months. It's very annoying!!!!!!!

I only receive the rewards about half the time. I've even spent money purchasing energy. But I'm thinking about finding a new game to get hooked on. You can't ever complete any islands unless you buy TONS of energy and red gems. They only give you a 1 or 2 days to try and get through each island. I'd rather be able to complete an island rather than spending so much time and money going in circles never get to complete an island. It's becoming too repetitive. Very disappointing

This game is really fun. but when you get energy everything costs like half of it. Not only that from time to time the game will glitch for me and not let me press any item until i exit out the tab and go into the game again it'll work Another issue is on some items it says complete quests to get a certain item. You should have a label or something to let me know what quest i have to do.

Fun game, but y'all have not considered what previous reviewers have stated. It takes too much energy to remove items. Would be a way better game if either the amount of energy it takes to break things was lowered or more gifts were provided along the way. All y'all keep saying is upgrade and feed the family, but it requires too much of everything and yall have not listened to one recommendation from anyone. Should have gave it a 3, but the kids like it too.

I really enjoyed this game in the beginning. However, you must spend insane amount of hours to generate little energy and to even be able to be top 3 on a contests you must also spend a lot of money on top of time. I am now at level 33 and have only reached so far by spending way too much money and time. I am now signing out after last quest due to losing all my collected resources because of lack of space. I spend money twice on this quest and almost 8 hours daily and losing anyways.

I started playing Family Island for the generous rewards in the rewarded play app and it's one of the few I kept after I processed my rewards. The graphics are great the they offer enough freebies to play for quite a while and the purchased play is reasonable. I love the game. The only downside is the length of time to switch between island. Switching servers takes forever

It's a very good little game, lovely graphics and generous with energy. However, I'm getting very pissed off with having to keep upgrading storage! That's the only part of the game that there is no point to. Why limit storage? It seems to happen the higher levels you get. And the dinner table! Who TF upgrades a dinner table or hearth? Pointless and very irritating. It spoils the whole game for me, I don't know about other players. Please, do something about this as I don't want to delete again.

Personally I think its enjoyable and helps pass time. I would like to see a rework on crafting though. Maybe be able to queue up to 5 items in one slot another 5 in the second and another 5 in the 3rd? And potentially increase that as you upgrade certain crafting stations? I feel like this is the biggest downfall to the game, as some upgrades do require quite a few materials. Also, you should have access to as many farm plots as you want. Not just 2 or 3 every few levels.

Usually get 3 sticks from a bush, need 3 to complete upgrade, watch 3 sticks be collected, only 2 were actually given. Need to collect another bush. Every time! How could it always end up one short? I had over 80 logs before I went to sleep. I woke up with 3 logs. Spent 84 on a tree to collect logs. None were given. I don't know if these are glitches but being cheated makes the game not fun. Joining fb just to tell you this is not something I want to do. You obviously did not read this review.

I like the game, started because of Inbox Dollars. But these back to back events with their special islands is starting to bug me. I can't make any progress on the original island for the story line. Because all my energy and items go to the special islands. And the energy consumption is horrendous even with the free energy given out. Would be nice to have a breather between these events to work on the story. That's my only complaint at the moment.

The game is fun, and the graphics are great, but the game is extremely hard to play on a regular basis, even with spending a little cash. Feeding your family, using the daily bonus/gift and trading with the merchant/shaman gets you a little energy but no where near enough to play very long. Edit from 1 to 3 stars: the developers have changed things up to help their game players. There's more energy opportunities, more prizes in the contests, and discounts. Definitely more enjoyable.

Played this till level 20. Energy wasn't too much of a problem getting to this level. However, expect to spend ~5 mins playing before having to idle. I'm only giving 3 stars due to multiple issues. 1) Candles are required for upgrades before they can be crafted in the foundry leaving it to Shaman rng to get them. 2) Animals constantly roam over buildings making it hard to select the buildings instead of hitting the bubbles. 3) The events are impossible to complete without spending money on them.
