It's odd you need two separate apps to do the job, and each will occupy certain memory space. Why don't you integrate both into a single app? 12/12 - It's Security Cloud and Internet Security for Android. In desktop version your Cloud version basically cover everything, but not in Android version it's not. Thus you have to install both apps and further ouucpy space and battery drain. By doing that my phone consume 35% of battery power just for both apps. Quite disappointment.
The app is confusing on its face, especially at first. It looks like it was designed around the tech spec, not for good User Interaction (UI). You can get everything done, it just takes a while to figure it out. But: and this took regression testing on my part to figure out, the VPN service will block apps and websites - like Sprint - for no reason I or apparently anyone else can determine. Kaspersky Technical Support keeps asking me to run A64 & send the reports but nothing seems to happen.
One of the best Security, have bad experience with support, but the app is fantastic. I have used a lot of Anti-Malware, have one or other issues, i.e., with password manager, with false positives, no backup, no firewalls and some have no VPN, like this. At last I got one solution with Kaspersky Security Cloud for all of my and my family's gadgets. I feel completely secured with Kaspersky. I trust this company from my college days, but I want to try other Anti-Malware apps, but at last back to
So far, so good... with one exception: Secure Connection doesn't reset each day. It just keeps building on the day before & I'm waiting to see what happens when it finally hits 300. The best part is, all of the data has been on my home wi-fi, which is secure, so I don't know what it is scanning either. I guess that is why we try before we buy!!!
This is basically a way to get you to download their other apps (all of which are only really useful with a premium subscription). Better off with Sophos, it's free and does the same as a Kaspersky subscription. Oh, and you get 300MB of VPN usage a day (there are tons on the Play Store that are free, Browsec for example). Basically there are free, equally good apps out there already. Not sure how this suite of apps fits in to the market really. Especially as this is not an All-in-one solution.
I had this in addition to my premium version of Kaspersky Internet Security. Constantly asking me to review and upgrade. Contacted support and it disappeared for a while but it's back again. I didn't buy the premium version 5 devices, to constantly be asked to upgrade. In addition, it's annoying that every time I go on a website, that it asks me to secure it before I can proceed. Too time consuming. Therefore I uninstalled it and will stick just with my Kaspersky internet security.
Have been waiting months and months for a fix on this app for Android. At this time, this app disables any possible usage with Wi-Fi devices such as Google Chromecast, Google Mini, Google Home, etc. The application Google Home does not detect any connected devices on Wi-Fi, one has to Force Stop app in phone settings to work. Other than that, at this time, product is good antivirus and protection software. Currently using a Family subscription and does a good job despite certain such bugs.
This app has been fantastic up until now but for some reason it has reverted back to free server version even although I have a running subscription and is not connecting as it says I've used my free daily allowance. On the vpn screen it says activating subscription but nothing happens, it's been doing this now for about 12 hours and I cannot find a way to resolve it. Will someone please help.
Doesn't work properly. It's not covering all the features mentioned in promo or product details. It redirects to internet security app, then, in that app we couldn't activate features because, it's asking separate subscription for each feature. Also, total security in laptop not protecting systems fully.
The annoying cousin of Kaspersky Internet Security. I had to turn off notifications for this since it didn't allow me to just turn off marketing. At least I know it will protect my phone in case of an emergency, but only through a web browser and not the Kaspersky application on my computer, which doesn't make any sense.
One of the only security apps that actually works!... I have noticed a marked increase in the speed of my Motorola G 7 Power , and for the loss of data you would expect to see using a security suite such as this has been a far cry compared to other security suites I've tested before... I highly recommend Kaspersky Apps to anyone seeking a quality premium suite of security apps. As for the Kaspersky VPN, I compared it to the Express VPN and found Kaspersky VPN didn't slow my system down 0%
It won't transition from monthly subscription to monthly subscription, you have to UNINSTALL it in order to make it work. When I called tech support, I was told I'd have to pay for them to help me, AFTER I had already paid for the subscription!! I've canceled the subscription and uninstalled it.
Good apps but the notifications are killing me every SINGLE min (even at work n bedtime - non-STOP 24/7!!) My cols are asking me, why my mobile keeps vibrating - it notifies 2 - 3x EVERY MINUTE! I tried turning off my phone's vibration mode n to silent mode, yet it keeps buzzing, n even at the movies. Im uninstalling it. And there is no way im shutting off my mobile phone at work - Been going on for a week or so (i 1st installed it). There are better security protection apps.
I have changed my review, check the edit history. Does not include full VPN, just to be clear this application does not include the full VPN, the version it includes has a 500mb limitation with no choice to change the vpn's countries, that aside the extra 200mb is nice and so far seems to be enough for our families needs. The Security Cloud application is great at the price point and I would recommend it so far.
I'm beginning to think I couldn't live without it! At first I was sceptical and mistrusting, but it was just a misunderstanding on my part. As I learn to work with the app more closely I can only see that the positive impacts on life, security and online adventures will greatly improve! The app contains no disruptive ads - they are the worst! Privacy is of the utmost importance and this app really understands and supports this.
Cluttered interface on a phone. Too many apps promoted and odd need to install several separate apps. Not really integrated. Fingerprint app lock is broken on Samsung Galaxy phones with on screen finger print readers. Definitely broken - serious bug. Otherwise comparable with other leading products
I cannot verify how well this works for protecting my device, but I can say that when it was installed I had all sorts of issues when trying to cast from my Pixel 5 to any of my Chromecast. I even installed this app on a Pixel 3 which had the same results. I have since uninstalling this app from all my Android devices.
Good, but with some annoying development alfa stage behaviour: e.g.: why the discovered devices in the WiFi network cannot be marked/sorted into three categories as 1=KNOWN-CHECKED and 2=NOTICED-UNKNOWN and 3=NEW and are ALL repeatedly reported as NEW although many of them are OLD and despite the fact they were manually renamed e.g. adding char "#" as first char in device name. OLD known devices with known MAC address (especially these manually renamed) should never be repeatedly reported as NEW !!! Also especially when these reported are not just from WIFI, but they are from entire LAN including Ethernet devices like printers (all carefully renamed, but still reported as NEW). I would REALLY appreciate feature for marking devices as three mentioned categories and these in categ. 1 not be reported ever again as new. Also some overview table/list should be good to filter out ONLY device category 2+3 .
Hate apps that automatically ask U to sign up for an account and your payment details before you even get to try the app. They ask for your card details just so you can use thr basic 3-7 day trial knowing full well that you will forget and they will get paid. I thought a big company like this would have more consideration. Deleted. I now have an account I won't use! Thanks!
Most of the features work great, but the VPN often has trouble reconnecting to the network after going out of wifi range then returning. Often turning off the VPN and turning it back on doesn't fix the problem and requires a phone restart.
First you changed the number of devices covered in the family plan from 20 down to 10 and won't let me renew forcing me to buy a new license. Because your software doesn't allow me just to push a new license to all the family's devices I'm stuck screwing around with I guess now only 10 devices to get working again. The stupid app doesn't allow selecting a specific license to use so I can't select the 'new' one thus can't use the product that I bought. Overall every iteration of the software gets worse and more bloated.
This app is extremely user-friendly and intuitive plus the add-on features contain imperceptibly little bloatware that doesn't affect the 3 key, encrypted, anti-virus security perimeter. I look forward to the new 2020 enhanced edition.
The program is great. It makes you surfe the internet feeling secured and safe. It has a simple interface and it's easy to use. Plus, it's Kaspersky, it's a well-known and a very trustworthy name in the Cyber security world. Keep up the great work Kaspersky team.

Could you please advise on this issue why do we need two apps. Kaspersky Internet Security for Android Phone does everything. Kaspersky Security Cloud doesn't scan the app. All it shows live protection and an option to check your email whether it is hacked or not. So those who use android phone what is the need of this app or you can introduce the scanning function here instead of two apps. I have raised this concern but their answer was we will update. I think Norton is the best.
Does exactly as it claims and puts me anywhere in the world except where I am. Doesn't slow down my phone at all like other VPN's I've used in the past. I have, however, been a customer of Kaspersky for a few years now and I've never had any security failures in that time. Very pleased.
Very good value and easy to operate. On the minus side, the VPN breaks down now and again without alerting you, or it will block ap standard connection to a site, or not connect to the Internet at all (not the only security app to do any of those things).There are also certain sharing of information conditions which you should really read before agreeing to anything. Still,I really like this app.
