Really excellent app!! Loads of games all together, and quite a variety too. Big range from checkers, to sudoku, to snakes and ladders. I've been playing a lot of backgammon and have 2 reasons for only 4 stars: the AI isn't good enough, I nearly always win. With some there's the option to change the AI skill, but not backgammon. And, as of a few months, it keeps forgetting my past scores. I used to have a nice graph with my win rate, but that keeps re-set to zero every game or two. But good app!
Great game! So many options to choose from! Great game to play with family or friends. Maybe skip the A.I though. They seem to have rigged the A.I to where it gets all the best rolls, moves, etc. It makes it almost impossible to win unless you have unbelievable luck. (Not all cases, but most of them.) Overall great game!👍
The app takes more space than stated 22.25 MB (+data and cache 32.67 total) vs the >9MB it said when I went to download, only reason I almost gave it less than 5 stars. All the games I have played worked perfectly (I've only played solo at this point) and they have a nice selection of games. I came across this when looking for an app to play mancala (which it doesn't have but would be a great addition) and I've been happy with it so far, ads aren't intrusive, maneuvering in the app is simple.
There are still some bugs, especially in the new games but I love the fun I get from it entirely. When I'm winning at chess, the computer doesn't stop thinking, it's really annoying. The ludo pieces get mixed up: when I'm trying to pick one it's tough so in the end I pick all. It's still playable but it's hard you get.
This game pack app is one of the best apps for entertainment I ever had on my tablet. The games I'm not familiar with I can learn because you have the directions available. Thanks Family Game Pack! Btw, some of my favorites are Crazy Eights, Battleship, Chinese Checkers, and Chess. (I've never yet won Connect Four, lol.) 😃 One problem, when I play Chinese Checkers the blue marbles sometimes get stuck. Almost always the very bottom one in the tip of the triangle. But I rate the game with 4+3/4.
Needs crazy 8s countdown and to be able to change the difficulty for cpu cause shut the box, and especially reversi..you'll ALWAYSA lose without practice/guidence. Also..needs better tutorials. Other than that...it's amazing. It does its best for having such a vast content. Would 100% recommend. Has been a great way to distract myself from my depression. Overall..well WELL worth the download.
Fun to play! Don't pass up this app because it contains ads. They're at the top of the screen and they don't interrupt your games or plays! You pick and name your player! You can play against the AI guys in checkers, chess, etc. You can play online with other online players! I love the variety of games on this app, there's games for the kids, solitaire games, games with interaction. No glitches, no ads popping up, oh and the app uses very little space. You won't get bored for hours while playing!
This is my absolute favorite game app as it has SO MANY good digital adaptations of so many classic board and card games! As others have said, the ads are unobtrusive and the variations for game play are highly impressive! Even as such, I bought the paid version just to support an incredible effort that fully deserves every penny. 2 years later, and I'm STILL learning new games and playing SOMETHING from this app almost daily!
There's a great variety of classics here that all seem to work very well, and the ads are unintrusive. My only issue is that the interface is outdated and could use a refresh.
The free version of this app is an extremely generous offering. I've spent hours playing with my kids on it. My only complaint is that the Ludo game seems to freeze up and not allow play to continue for no apparent reason, but, with this many games, that's not even worth knocking a star off.
Decent selection of games, but a huge drawback is that for many of the games you are forced to play with the timer on. For most of these games, the timer is not absolutely necessary to play the game (some of us may not be interested in timing ourselves all the time). In such cases, the timer just acts as a visual distraction. So why not give us the option to switch off the timer in the settings?
Really liked the app having all these different games together helps pass time whenever alone or with friends very convenient and fun.. Some games are vaguely explained though doesn't help pick up new games unless you search for details on your own. Not all of them though and my favourite is Minesweeper really brings me back man
Somehow I either overlooked the view rules option or it was somehow unlocked by me lol. Either way I'm able to see gameplay rules. Much better app than originally reviewed. AI/CPU on point for level of difficulty. Graphics are good. Still enjoying myself immensely. Should definitely give this a chance.
This one has my Highest Recommendation! Aren't you tired of the search for a decent game pack? Well the search ends here ! A vast array of games - 40 - some familiar, some you probably never heard of. Adjustable to your skill level with the ai . Board games, dice games, Solitaire games, logic games well designed and user friendly. You want it? You got it~
Bought the full version but everytime I go on it takes me back to the free version. I've tried to restore ads but it doesn't work. Don't be fooled into buying the full version
Addictive fun! I gave it four stars because I just started playing it and haven't played all of the games yet. So far, I can't seem to set it down. Some of the solitaire games can get hard to see because they can grow smaller as more cards pile up, but I can't knock the game for my poor eyesight. Lots of games to choose from all in one.
It deserves 5 stars the game collection is good but connecting with other devices is pure nightmare even if it sometimes connect over wifi still disconnect in the middle of game and Bluetooth never work when creating lobby most of the time tells you that wifi and Bluetooth is not active even though you activate them. I don't know why it should be that complicated to connect to other devices
Great way to while away some time. AI is a bit hit and miss and occasionally seems weighted against the player. Bluetooth multiplayer is nice and the range of games brilliant. 4 stars because of the slightly off AI makes it frustrating.
So, with one install you get a whole bunch of games, some of which you've never heard of, and many of them are pretty good. Why wouldn't you like this? Minimal ad interference. No pay to win. Best thing going in a waiting room, for instance. If you're tired of one game, just select a different one. There's bound to be something you like!
I love the game selections but lately while playing a game the game blinks and the size of the cards changes on the screen sometimes making the cards to see under the header ad. The game blinks again and a different size of game board. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no effect.
Absolutely horrible. I played Backgammon against the AI, and it ALWAYS got the roll it needed to hit me. It captured my pieces 25 times in the entire game. TWENTY FIVE TIMES. I also played Chess, the "beginner" AI took literally half a second to make moves, and played better than most AI's I've played against. Because of its speed, the game feels rushed. Also, tapping a piece will cause it to move- even if you weren't trying to move it. Get something else, this isn't worth it.
I really like the idea of this app. I hope more games and game variants are added in the near future. It would be nice if there were visual tutorials to make learning games easier. I learn better by demonstrations.
So far I like it, and am keeping it. But the menu suddenly changed from a list to revolving. Edit: good variety of games. Edit 2: please add option on Forty Thieves to replay any deal, even when there are useless moves available.
Lots of games and variants, I'm enjoying learning these. The ads aren't intrusive as they are mostly on a small bar at the top... hardly ever get full page ads (thankfully). The rules aren't always explained in as much depth as I'd like, but it's easy enough to web search them. You can also play with friends, and set the difficultly of the bot. Thank you for hours of entertainment
