Exciting but frustrating, when working with potential matches there is no easy way to distinguish between your own edits/amendments and those of others. Perhaps one's "home" tree was a different colour from "matches" it would make it easier? At the moment I'm wondering if I should discontinue with it, which would be a shame as I think it has a lot to offer.

Wow this has dropped in usefulness. Search doesn't allow filters, doesn't even find records that are in the county put in the search fields. It is prettier to look at until you try to do something with it.

Crashes and freezes, which makes me lose my place. Sometimes won't load information or pictures I submitted. The bugs need to be worked out. Overall is a nice app. I like it for the most part.

Search algorithm is way off. Seems to only show results from last name and what state they're born in. No matter what other info is added it still shows the same results.

Overall, I have found this app much easier to navigate over going straight to family search. The setup makes it easier to correct information and to compare information. The way the record search changed on the last update made searching more difficult due to the way it is on screen. It is crowded together in a way that I have trouble. Sorry for vague explanation

Until the latest update I liked this app well enough. Unfortunately, the latest changes have made the "search historical records" function practically useless. The advanced options take up too much of the screen and you can't move it out of the way, the collection filters are almost impossible to see, and it lags or is completely unresponsive. And there's a random horizontal line through the screen that won't go away. Their updates can be a little hit or miss, but this one is definitely a miss.

This is the most awesome family search I've ever used. You can follow your ancestors as far back as they started keeping records. I went all the way back to around 1089 or so. Way more ancestral roots than I imagined. Fabulous! Even text with My Great Grand Father's, baby sisters grand daughter!! Too way cool! Definitely recommend for anyone who wants to honor the footsteps of their ancestors!

I've been using this app for about 3 months, still working through and learning, but to date I quite like it!! I have connected through this app with a fifth cousin and we are filling in the blanks with each other!! So excited, I shared this with a first cousin and we discovered that the fifth cousin and the first cousin actually are already connected through their grandfather and father, but never knowing that they were related!! Just trying to figure out how to use on my laptop.

I am frustrated w the program. At its inception, one could set up their records as they held them to be true and if someone else had alternate information, they could offer it for what it was, ALTERNATE/OTHER information. Programing was changed and now anyone may go onto any record changing and manipulating any data they wish. I now submit only minimun needed for certain ordinances. Sacred and precious info is not protected or respected.

Finding my family is amazing I would really like to refer people to this sight. I just updated my app and it keeps telling me to update it . So had to Uninstall to re install.

Please fix the app. I can sign in but my tree is gone, says I don't have any tasks, and says action canceled when I try to do anything. Very frustrating as a daily user who hasn't been able to use the app for over a week now.

Great app, helps you find your Ancestors history, and even helps you get connected to family members. Only thing needed is to be able to send this app to family members who are interested.

I LOVE being able to come to this app!! Its My go too. It has been a big help. And I've been able to add afew updated when people have passed away, such as my father.

I love it. Is helpful to see the maps to understand where to look for them. Unfortunately, I don' live in Colombia but I can see in maps actual photos of the place and cherish the feelings I have for them. I can share this with my mother who is still alive so I can have a better picture of them.

Excellent app. My family tree goes back to the 11th century. Never knew much beyond my great great grandparents before using this app.

1) How do I get rid of the Roots Tech spam banner at the top? 2) Search remains broken. This is because we can't modify search terms, as the SEARCH button does nothing. We are stuck with whatever parameters are handed to search. Our only option is to modify the record itself to match our search terms. We have to do this for every search. This is a disaster waiting to happen.

So far today, there have been no crashes; Tasks are in regard to relevant individuals. Haven't used much today, but has been operating far better than before.

This app informs me when ordinances are completed. I appreciate knowing especially since my poor health keeps me from doing this work myself.

Thanks! I love this FREE geneology tool. It's been great learning about my ancestors. I especially love the Activities, like seeing what famous people your related to. I had no idea I was related to 28 Presidents!!! Keep up the great work.

It was okay, not exactly the most user friendly interface I've used but easy enough. Doesn't seem as though you can find or do much without having done your own research outside the app too, and if you misunderstand or mess up the mapping you need to open it in the browser to have any hope of fixing it. For family mapping it was decent though and when you're considering it's free it's great

My personal experience was quite well. I put it to the test and it delivered phenomenally. For example, I looked up two predominant ancestors and it took off from there.

Im loving this somewhat confusing but im really enjoying this its super exciting. Still looking for the native american relatives.

I wish it had an option on the app to show an extended family tree, including cousins and such; I use the app to show older family members the tree I've built. Another user mentioned that the find a cousin feature should be able to be turned on when you're not actively in the menu. It does feel that the app has to be closed after a certain time period in order to fix/prevent glitching, crashing, and freezing.

I back up most my photos tothis and use it daily. I have found it very easy to use.

Fine app, enjoying having it especially when with other family members, where I can share information with them.
