Fan Sounds - Fan Noises For Sleeping

The box fan is amazing, but for some reason lately it's been automatically lowering the noise lvl from max to 2/3's max lvl randomly throughout the night. I usually wouldn't mind, but I've woken up and turned it back up, then 3 seconds later it turns itself down, multiple times. So that's kind of annoying, but other than that it's been my go to fan app.

I really like the sounds on this app. So far I've had no problems with this one turning off. The only minor suggestion I would possibly like to see is the ability to hide or turn off the time counter. I've been having trouble sleeping as it is, and seeing how long the fan has been running only adds to my overthinking about it. Otherwise it's great! Edit: Despite having battery optimization turned off, the app does turn itself off every once in a while. It's a bit disappointing.

I love setting 6 it reminds me of my parents house. First app i found that has a lower frequency fan/air sound! I fall asleep faster and sleep better!!!! Very soothing!!! And it stays on...I don't have problems with it cutting off!! I love that it has the night time mode!! That means more sound sleep for me...not getting awakened by it cutting off or switching to another sound!! Thank you!!

Was good for a few months, but in the past few weeks it has stopped running during the night - for some reason it stops within the first hour. After restarting the Play in the app, it usually runs ok for the remainder of the night. I have set the Battery Optimisation (and the dontkillmyapp settings as per the developer recommendation) and also did a fresh install.

I suffer from tinitus, and have always slept with a fan on in the room. This brings on obvious disadvantages, especially in winter! This app, has been able to totally replace that, which I had my doubts about. I send it to a Bluetooth speaker and it replicates totally the sound I've become almost reliant upon, (without the temperature difference😉) Perfect!

I have done the battery optimization thing and that app still turns off throughout the night. I wish there was an option for it to run longer than 60 minutes. I wake up constantly throughout the night when it shuts off and have to turn it back on. If this problem was fixed I would give 5 stars. I enjoy the sound and it helps me fall asleep quick.

First noise app i have ever found that has is multi-tonal with multiple octives like a real box fan. I can sleep through the night with this running, just like my favorite fan. Not entirely real sounding, thus the 4 stars (I would give 4.5 if I could.) Edit: something has changed with the update. The app will shutdown on its own in the middle of the night, waking me. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but every night after 2 - 4 hours it just stops. Looking for a new app :(

Sleep Saver- I found this app while on vacation when no fan was available. I have slept with a fan on for over 20 years and to have total silence at night does not allow for a good night's sleep. I found this app and the 2nd night of my vacation I slept 11 hours! I'm sure it was because of the lousy sleep the night before. I can now travel without a fan which will make traveling so much easier! Highly recommend 👌

Works perfectly. Does exactly what I need and want it to do. Provides constant fan sound. I set it on low and medium listening level. I've paid for sleep apps, though they've not been nearly as good as this one. I'd happily pay if that becomes an option.

Nice app good layout and great variety of fan sounds. There are 7! diff fan sounds with 3 speeds for each! Most aps have 1-3. Had issues with it turning off randomly, As the developer states be sure to turn off all battery saving features for this app and data wifi (my device had 2 separate ones which caused issues) Works all through the night. No intrusive or pop up ads.. This is the BEST fan app. I have tried most of them and easily this one is the best

This was the second fan app I tried & it worked perfectly! 7 is my setting, it sounds real, played all night, & didn't need to keep my screen on or not use other apps. Just what I needed! Edit, second night it shut off before I fell asleep:( it worked last night, so I believe it's the issue the other low star people had.

This app is a life savwr (err.. nighr saver?) When we lose power, so used to having a fan running for background noise. Dogs ars used to the sound as well, and without it is pure chaos and sleeplessness. Now, i juat fire this up on my phone and let it run at like 20% volume and peace is again restored.. the power usually takes hours to come back, but at least now I can sleep through it. Almost every ott app I've tried is just ads, stops playimg if you dont watch ads every 5 minutes, etc.

Great sound. While traveling, I was able to find a fan sound similar to the one I use at home, but unfortunately it stopped in the middle of the night. I was able to exit and restart the app to get it going again. First time using a noise app and I am not sure if all apps quit after a while but if it hadn't quit, I would give 5 stars!

It works fine but even while on the infinate setting it still will shut off in the middle of the night sometimes. There is no reason for this to happen. I switched to this app from Sleep Aid Fan because the newer version from them did the same thing. I think that there is a problem with the advertising feed that is causing an interruption which makes the fan shut itself off. The developer needs to fix this Bug as this shut off problem is not why people download the app. Please Fix ASAP !

Best fan app. I have tried many. For me it crashes randomly and I'm not sure how to fix it. Works the majority of the time. I've checked to see if my phone is putting the app to sleep on its own and I can find no proof of this. Best sound selection by far from my experiences.

This app has come in handy multiple times!! Its great! I once had a whotr noise app that would stop the sound and play a loud commercial...it was terrible so it took me years to try again. Thankfully when I did I found this app! No commercial interruption and plays all night or only for a time, which ever i choose. Really a great tool for good sleep and to wash out the noise of my older kids so that my toddler can sleep!

It's been over two weeks using this app after trying another app I didn't like. I use it at night for the baby to have a background noise. Can't ask for a better Fan app. This app has a timer, about 5 variations of fan sounds. Hi medium low settings. Oscillating setting. Plays in the background or with screen off. Definitely recommend.

Good noises and selection but uses a ridiculous amount of battery power. If I plug my phone in to charge and turn this app on all night my phone won't get close to being charged...even using Google maps for directions for 5 hours it will charge completely. Not sure where the drain is coming from. Will be searching for another app because of this as need it when camping too.

If you tab out from the app before you sleep, make sure you tab back in. I swear every time I've done that I've been woken up by the volume decreasing or the sound turning off completely. Almost completely unreliable.

Although sometimes it randomly stops for no reason, the sound quality and volume are great. The variety of sounds is great too, though once I find *my* fan, I've never switched.

Super convenient, and sounds just like a real fan. Now I don't have to keep my phone charging while its on youtube playing White Noise anymore. With this app, all you have to do is choose a speed sound of the fan, hit play, and turn your phone's screen off and enjoy the sound.

I wish the oscillation was slower like a real fan. Over all I like it but on my phone it also will just jarringly stops in the middle of the night like another rater said. But i think it has to do with phone notifications. I think they alert and it stops the fan and doesn't come back on. Still like it though helps so much in hotels to sleep.

Sound is not continuous. Sometimes it's still on when I wake up and sometimes it's not. Turns off after 20 minutes to ask you for a rating. Update: So I turned the app on again last night to add some ambient noise and it worked well until I got woken up by an email at 2am from Amicoolsoft calling me a liar in response to my review about their app shutting off. I don't know why it shuts down on my phone and it's not important enough to me to get this involved in it, I'll just get a different app.
