I like this app. The stories are short and simple, but not too simple, the voice actors are good and the illustrations are lovely. I think the one story a day is reasonable. However, once you choose your book, if you accidentally close the app then you won't be able to read another story. I think the stories we chose should be temporarily saved for the day. I also think we should have an "Are you sure?" option. Besides that, this is a good app, just clearly directed to paying parents.
I paid the one time life long fee and have been using farfaria for over 5 years! We use it nightly for multiple story times. We love the different levels and lots of nonfiction titles; holiday books are also convenient throughout the year. I am a teacher so I also love the different people and accents of the readers. It really has helped my children gain reading skills, practice adding emotions, and building vocabulary. Love this app!
Greatly anticipated story app every night! I haven't been able to subscribe yet because the cost is kind of high and times are hard. One free book a day keeps us coming back for more. If you have the dollar to pay for it do it! The stories are well written and the narrative follow along highlighted words is the best tool to focus my 4 year old on the reading.
I bought subscription for this app on 2.12.21. On 9.12.21, I could not access my subscription. I sent message to farfaria, I received auto reply that they will assist. I could not access through my email and password. I tried to reset my password and I received a loop reply. That takes .e again and again to a request for reset. I have no way of getting in touch with farfaria and I have no way of getting my password reset. The app system is bad. I would not recommend this app.
This app is so wonderful. my 5 year old cannot get enough of it. We especially love that all of the stories can be read to her. She uses it a lot to "read all by myself" and it makes her feel so empowered. I also love the information it provides about the reading levels so that I can know where her understanding and comprehension are when she is listening. This is truly one of our favorite apps.
Love it. My daughter love it but sometimes it need a little bit discipline to make her read it. She always only hear for about 30 minutes and continue watching her youtube. Other than that, maybe more feature? Idk there is a LOT of books but... thats it. I think this app need more than that to attract little kids
The app works great on the iPad and Galaxy phone app, up until recently. I noticed all this week the app is not connecting and keeps closing on the phone. app. Has there been a recent update that is causing some incompatibility?
False Advertising!! Well in the pictures that show about the app it says "its free no subscription needed". I download the app and the first thing that pops up is "you must have subscription" and its $4.99!! False advertising!!!
I got this with my scribd subscription so it was a nice surprise. I opened the app and the registration with scribd account went smoothly. I rate it 4 stars since the interface looks neat and well thought of, but I have yet test it with my children. Hope they will like it.
Lifetime membership here - app has not worked for two weeks, won't even open. As of the 14th nothing works, app is updated and I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling. When it works the app is great.
Underwhelming choice of stories, most of these are easy readers which I don't like because they stunt reading growth and don't challenge a child. The reading levels aren't really that great to go off of because what it has for 4th grade is something a 1st or 2nd grader at most should be able to read with rapid ease. I say go online find free pdfs and don't bother with this app, you can read Alice in Wonderland, Pinoccio, Peter Pan, and a lot of other various public domain stories on any website.
We read from this app every night, the kids love to pick a book from here then we read 2 more from our collection. It is a great way to get the kids round up and excited to have story time.
Trent Partridge says it's great! My son immediately enjoyed the program and wanted to read more. Plus the books were read by a professional so it sounded real good. The selection is good also.
The font is super small and cannot be enlarged. It would help if that would change. Until then, I'll unsubscribe. Other than that, lovely stories.
Has good stories, keeps my children engaged for hrs but the prob is that u guys showed on screen shots that no subscription needed. Then I bought it believing u guys. But then when I opened the app for the first time, the first thing was that subscription page popped-up...u guys improve that then u will get more downloaders
It is very easy to navigate and choose an age appropriate leveled story. My daughter loves the variety and quality of sound.
Its a good game but one day it says im not connected then i check my internet i was connected i tried to reinstall it but it just the same please fix it!!!!!!!!!!😔

Difficult to find age appropriate books even with the age grade guides within the app.
My kids LOVE it!! They love all the different islands and I love the different reading levels. It's straight forward and great for restaurants or rides!
My son loves this. He struggles academically and its difficult to het him to read. With this app he wants to read everyday. He is never bored of this app.
I can't use this app. I have a subscription but each time I login into parents mode and I try to access a book I see the subscription notification again. How many do I need to subscribe please? PS: this has been fixed
I love this app, but it had stopped working in my Huawei P20 Pro. I tried reinstalling many times, but it just doesn't work.

It's an excellent reading app. Even though it requires a subscription, if you're looking for a good reading app, get Farfaria!
This app is great we use it every night! I have a 6 and 10 year old now it crashes everytime I open it
After a week of free trial, I went ahead and purchase a life-time package. I installed this app for my kids age 3 and 5. What I like the most is the option for filtering the books according to their age category and level of reading difficulty. Also I like the read to me option. So my kids who aren't yet able to read on their own can use this app, choose their books, and read along at their own pace. I don't even need to supervise them because the interface is so intuitive even the 3 year old can use it independently. The choice of books are plenty! There's even some books in languages other than english. Great for the kids to explore.
