Farm Sprayer GPS
Tired of counting rows? Need to track your position in the field while spraying? Farm Sprayer GPS is a simple tool that allows you to set the boom width of your sprayer and see where you have sprayed or spread fertilizer using the the GPS built into your phone or tablet. Use it for tillage, spraying, planting, or anything else. Farm Sprayer GPS has two modes, circle tracking which shows you where you have been and line guidance which projects straights lines for you to follow with left and right arrows. It also allows you to see how many acres you have covered and shows you your ground speed.
!!Use with caution!! Phone and Tablet GPS providers can be off by meters, but can usually be within a foot as long as the device is away from tall structures. An option is provided to show you how to upgrade to a USB 48 channel receiver and use this app.

Works ok when spraying or fertilizing
It works alright when I first start, but after I use it for 15 minutes or so it crashes and I have to start from the beginning. Samsung galaxy s4 mini
This app keeps crashing and cant find any to contact the developers. Quiet dissapointed

Terrible. Utterly terrible. I want my $7 back.
Plus: It does work on open ground. Yesterday I put down fertilizer with 50' spread and using line mode it was decently accurate (at least more accurate than I am when I guess). I'm not sure how accurate it will be when I'm pulling equipment under 20', we'll see in a few days. Minus: It crashes if I let the screen rotate, which is a known problem, make sure to lock screen rotation when using.

Accurate when it runs but tends to just quit in the middle of the field and lose all the coverage lines.
It's surprisingly accurate, I am thinking about getting the external antenna but I need a way of mapping new tile lines. You have all the hard stuff figured out now just add a mapping option that paints a line on Google maps that can be started and stopped and is exportable. It would be even better if it could be saved to bring me back to the same spot years later.

Bit disappointed really. Doesn't do much which cant be done with Viewranger for free! Heavy on the batteries, area calculations are miles off, and doesn't save data which I regard as essential. Really needs a feature to allow you to stay on the correct baring. Has great potential so hope to see it updated with some extra features soon.
While obviously for 13 odd dollars I never expected the accuracy or features that a 2000 dollar GPS would offer, I was pleasantly surprised with how much use I am able to make out of this app. Very simple and easy to use. I've found it to be accurate to about 1 or 2 metres on a clear day and maybe 2 to 4 metre accuracy on an overcast day. It doesn't replace my foam marker but I find it really handy to be able to tell which row to come back to after I refill the sprayer. Also good for spreading or night work
Last version added metric measurements, but was calculating hectares incorrectly. Hope it is fixed.
Top marks purchased external GPS receiver love it
Updates position too slowly and covered area is not interpolated so my sprayed area appears as disconnected circles. Does not retain any settings and you can't save an area that you maybe returning to later. I would like a refund please.
Good enough for the price. Only real issue is with the area calculations. Said I've done 1.2ha when I have atually done more like 15ha.
A light bar showing if your drifting left or right would be a great addition. Also a more used friendly setup would be helpful. Better instructions would help.

This is stupid. You need to make it easier to start and stop the coverage map and you need to make it work on the last pass or fallow where you last drove. Until then it's a total waist of money. Sorry
I cant see anything because the backround color is dark green and the highlighter is dull red. I prefer the free version because it has a white backround and I can see no problem with the suns glare
