Fast Notepad

I've used fast notepad for years and I've been happy. Since upgrading my phone and losing all my notes, this version puts full page ads which I believe is not permissible. I would pay for a version that does not have ads. I've turned off notifications on the version. Let's see how that goes. I might just find something else. The ads make it cheap and unusable. Please provide a paid version without ads

Gave 2 stars instead of 1 due to this app starting out good. After I had the app for a while and many notes in my folders I started having issues. It seemed to get worse following the ads (there weren't any when I added the app) and I was fearful of losing all my information. My words would become scrambled and notes on the top of the page would turn up in the middle or bottom. This got to the point that it was so bad that I stopped entering any further notes and transferred what I could. BWARE

Here is it!!! There are many notebooks on the Play Stor; I also tested many of them .., But if you are looking for a simple Note Book, an easy and sophisticated tool to replace your old books and yellow notes etc. THIS IS THE BEST (for me at least)… Can be opened by Fingerprints; easy to write; easy to read; easy to move between folders; easy to find; easy to change backgrounds plus many others. and I hope they will also add to it an option to import / export old notes between Excel or CSV…

Good and simple. Copies and pastes text from web etc . But it does not copy pictures, jpg, png images etc. .Pls. add this feature too in yr next update if possible.Having problem regarding opening backup file. Allow sync with other devices Also allow to highlight text as Bold,italics,underscore etc.as is case with other apps

Very solid app (aside from fullscreen ads) until literally today, when it appears to have stopped working and erased all my notes. Issue since solved. Leaving a 1 for visibility, hopefully someone can lend a hand. It'll be a 4 if it starts working again and my data is recovered. Edit: I left an emotional and somewhat harsh review after losing access to my data a while back. I must hand it to thr dev, they responded graciously and with a fix. Review is now 4 stars :) as it should properly be.

Updated 25th March 2022 When I type it NOW has a delay of half a second which is VERY Annoying! Don't know what to do about this, is it possible to go back to previous version? First Review Very quick and easy to use, can set text size more accurately.

14 Apr 2022 On more usage: This app doesn't have page scroll which makes practically useless. Have to downgrade 4 star to 1 and uninstall. Google Keep is alternate. 11 Mar 2022 Review: Simple, yet effective for taking quick notes. I use this in place of my Evernote as staging platform due to its simplicity, fast in opening for ready to use and no nonsense GUI. However, this is not supporting scrolling while editing long notes. Hope they could fix this issue. Moving to Google Keep till then.

Exactly what I was looking for. It's lightweight, user friendly, very useful for really simple and quick tasks, cases in which you aren't necessarily looking for something ultra robust.

I have used Fast Notepad for many years, always fast and easy to jot something down quickly. Since the app was "updated" to include ads, it is anything but, now you are faces with full screen ads, no option to close, you have to force close the app to rid yourself of it , some notes DO NOT get saved as when the app locks it does not save your info, very poor decision.

Used the app for over 2 years. The addition of the full page ads was annoying but understand they need to pay their bills. Since the most recent update on Jan 1 2022 the app locks about one in 4 times when going between apps. And a new insanely annoying bug, the page routinely scrolls to the bottom of the note while trying to read or select text in the middle of the note. It's practically unusable in comparison to a week ago.

The full ads with the recent update is a big no for me - having a long and full screen ad take over unexpectedly isn't working, especially when I'm trying to access notes on my phone quickly (grocery list, doctor notes). I'm looking for another app and will delete this one. I loved the simple and orderly layout this app previously offered and have used it happily for many years. Really disappointed this is the way they decided to incorporate ads.

I like it because it works for exactly what I need it for a note pad to put stuff in I need to remember or just a quick note. But yeah I'm sure there's more features they could always add.:)

Since this newest update, each note that I have that has a lot of words in it is very sluggish! I have a Galaxy S20 Ultra. Please put out an update that will fix this right away. Also, please add a search function within the notes and the option to automatically backup all notes, on a schedule. Thanks.

EDIT: Ads and can't remove them. Unusable. NEEDS ADS GONE and 1) Fast smooth scrolling. An update removed this. Line by line is too slow! 2) Import/export as ZIP of TXTs. Otherwise, simple, stable, small app that only does what I need and well. I've trusted it with my notes for years and tried many competitors. A) No bloat features B) Never lags or crashes C) Clean design, easy to read and organize D) Auto-saves when closing or switching apps

I've used this app for quite some time. Excellent way to retain mental notes, instructions, logs, stats, or random facts.

Have used this app for many years. Simple, fuss-free note taking. No ads, no gimmicks.

Loved the app at first. The adverts are getting more intrusive. NOTE TO ADVERTISERS: I NEVER PURCHASE because of such adverts

Really good, it has a lot of things that make everything easier, like color selection for notes and folders.

State's it has adds but haven't seen any ! Simple and just works. Has fingerprint privacy lock. I wish there were more apps like this in the app store. Great app 🙂 👍 😀

This was a decent app until full screen video ads that freeze the application were added. It's pretty much trash now.

Can you please enable navigation arrows while typing? I can't use the arrow buttons when using your app. Im using SwiftKey keyboard with arrows enabled at bottom row keys. Also beautiful app! Thx!

like it bcoz it's easy to use. though not much features, it's enough if u want a simple online notebook without much hassle /problem.

Simple, elegant and easy to use...you don't need anything else when it comes to writing or copy and pasting notes.

Small but really useful. If you are looking for an app only for taking notes then this is the one. You can create folders to organize your stuff. It has a Recycle Bin too. In case you delete something accidentally no worries. It can be restored.

Can not recommend. Exported notes from one device, got error on import to another device. Mistakenly deleted app on original device before verifying restore. Seems to use some funky format that is unintelligible, i.e. not clear text, xml, etc; therefore, data was totally lost.

This app is so convenient for typing quick notes, and very user friendly. That's definitely a thumbs up from me👍🏽

Text is all white, same color as the background, it is unusable for this fact.
