Fast Play Initiative Tracker

The dungeon master can keep the Dungeons & Dragons game moving with this streamlined initiative manager. Designed to minimize steps. At the beginning of each round press the "Next Round" button and all creatures get new initiative rolls (including their bonus) and the list is sorted.
Enter each player or NPC name and initiative bonus. At the beginning of each battle add the monsters. This is very helpful when dealing with a large number of monsters.

There are options to support two styles of playing: rolling initiative each round or rolling just once at the beginning of the battle.

Delete monsters or players as they are defeated. Add new monsters in the middle of the battle.

* A round counter keeps track of rounds.
* Monster dictionary auto-completes when typing monster names. Because this is a small list you usually only need to type two letters.
* Remembers your list of players (and monsters) for next time.
* New Battle button clears away monsters and resets the round counter.
* Arranges the initiative list in columns when in landscape mode.
* Keep track of turn taken, delayed action (hold) and death.
* Adjust initiative value with long press then drag.
* Random NPC name generation.

The app only rolls initiative of 1d10, not d20? I don't understand that at all. There's no way to save initiative groups to prepare your combat before you meet up to save table time.

Could not possibly recommend this app more. It allows you to maintain a persistent party, clearing monsters between battles, adding monsters to the rotation as simply as name, quantity, and modifier. Easily adjust initiative mid round if needed, and auto roll initiative for all those pesky npcs the party is fielding. Simple, elegant, amazing. 10/5 stars, would pay for if it wasn't free.

There are no instructions on how to use the app, so I've been trying to figure it out by trial and error. Also, you mentioned in other reviews that you had updated the app to enable the user to add initiatives in manually (enabling the character players to roll their own initiatives). However, I cannot figure out how to add in the numbers manually. If this is a feature, HOW do I do it?

I love this app, I would give this app 5 stars if it only tracked whos turn it currently was. Like highlighted the player or monster and have a button for "next" or somthing. It's not that big of a deal, I just made a conscious effort to remember. Although I did forget once or twice. Lucky my players helped me out. I was going to use a lil flat mark, or a dime or somthing next time. Just wish it tracked current turns. Please consider adding this. :) thanks again for the awesome app!

Simple is usually great, but this app is bare bones. Have to type in everything and can't input your own initiative. No way I've seen to save data between encounters.

Maybe it just that designed to work for older editions but as a 5e dm I would much prefer if the numbers went higher, I've had players with initiative close to 30 and adding monsters in a few rounds into combat having exact initiative numbers would be preferable.

This app is not intuitive, BUT it does exactly what I want after messing with settings. It lets me place each individual at exactly where I want

I have rolled a hundred times in a row and none of the characters in the lineup have ever rolled over 15... Even with+6 initiative.

Dope, and it does exactly what I need.

App crashes when you try to add new monsters after only one use.

It does what it says, roll a new initiative each round. There is even a switch in settings to not reroll. What I wish it had though was a way to manually input a character's init, our move them around in the order in the event of a delay or readied action

Would be perfect if it supported delayed actions.

I wont let me add an initiative bonus higher than 10. At the level we are at in our party our initiative is much higher than 10.

A stunning work of pure genius, unrivaled in human history.

Would've been a great app if only it allowed you to customize the template and save/catalog monsters for future encounters.
