I have issues with my phone moto razor running android 11 . It keeps telling me servers are not not available. I have tried all suggestions in help section. If it even connects it drops it as fast as you try. Windows 7 pro computer has issues also with tap adapter, you have to make it makes another tap adapter driver to connect to different servers just to get it to work.
Seems good but dont be fooled....besides their speed being too slow here in Australia they then go and add a new faster service after saying they were already one of the fastest and expect you to pay again after already signing up for a Lifetime Subscription.... Very bad company ethics..... Now they want to charge $2.00 per month to upgrade so that you can get Hulu, amazon etc and even no auto reconnect unless you upgrade....Should be ashamed of themselves !!!!
Old Adage is that "You get what you pay for". My experience is that this is cheap and also very bad. Forget fast! Measures speeds in bytes per second and if lucky single digit kbps. Dream of getting mbps; even one! Bought it to get on to Facebook which is banned where I live so it functions barely for that. However barely functional at the best of times and forget streaming video!

Ok on desktop but not on android. Good experience on windows laptop but on Samsung android I keep getting the following and unable to connect. "Error:stream was reset: PROTOCOL _ERROR" on wifi. Works ok on 4g though. Online support chat doesn't work.

It is not at all good for streaming services, better to buy some other vpn services, plus don't see the cost , this VPN is not at worth. It's not about speed, this app has lot of bug and team dont worry about that
Doesn't seem to work for me any more, other than allowing me to access sky bet in wi-fi areas that usually block it, nothing else seems to be circumvented like it used to be using this vpn

This is the best deal in VPNs. Streaming and download speeds are very good, and I've had no problems connecting to any server. Things unviewable in the US became viewable. Kill switch seems ok. BEST feature is the ad blocker. Most Android apps no longer have ads! My emails were answered [competently!] within hours. So far, things have been near perfect - unlike the version on Win11. That crashes and drops connection a few times a day, won't kill or auto-reconnect. But Android app & staff = 4.5/5

I contacted customer service twice but nothing changed. It usually works on my PC and iPad, with some issues here and there. Overall an unreliable product.
The app isn't to bad, I got the $20 life Time subscription for 10 devices, so with that being said when I'm home I don't have many issues pretty fast for the most part, if it's acting up then all I do is change the SERVER and that usually fixes the problem. It will not automatically reconnect after it eventually disconnects from the server. When it is connected speeds can be ok, sometimes very slow and must change server. Basically every time you want to be protected by the VPN you have to manually open the app and connect, usually many times a day. On both the pc windows version and android version same thing, just won't stay connected or reconnect. It's kind of a pita. It was on sale very cheap. Kind of not very good.
I have a lifetime subscription that I bought specifically because of the low price offered, and I did not know what to expect. The service is not the best I've used, but certainly not the worst. The mobile application has limited features, but it works exactly the way it is intended to, with little to no lags/delays, and no random stoppages at any point so far. The only problem I have is the "button grid" icon shows no purpose but to tell you that it is broken. Hopefully this gets fixed soon!
It can be difficult to find a server that you can connect to. Sometimes it takes 15-20 minutes before getting a connection. The connection freezes or drops frequently. Either they are totally under capacity for their clients, or their software is inadequate, or both. I have a lifetime subscription, yet it continues to ask me to upgrade. Upgrade to what? I then have to logout and login again in order to use the app. There is supposed to be ad blocking, but I don't see any evidence of it.
The VPN servers continually give me "failure to connect" messages whenever I use my phone's data and will regularly disconnect when on WiFi. Also, once the VPN disconnects on its own, FastestVPN does not attempt to automatically reconnect. Since I do not get an alert from the app when it is running in the background, I don't notice that the VPN disabled itself and leave my phone vulnerable while attempting to reconnect. UPDATE: The solution provided did the trick! Thank you for the response.
Update: I appreciate the updates they have been pushing but some issues still remain. Too frequently it says waiting to authenticate or waiting for server. It still disconnects way to frequently. I'm not sure why. Speeds seem to have improve when u can get past the other issues. It's ok when u can get it work properly. As of late I have to play around with open/close to get it to connect. Way to often it quietly disconnects or its trying to connect, which defeats the purpose of using a VPN.
Edit: I reached out to their support (before I wrote this review). They said the problem is my email address. I changed the email registered in their system. It didn't fix the problem. Either way, they don't care. They only respond with password resets now. Does not connect. Tried all the protocols, which is what their support recommended. I also tried with home WiFi and with cellular LTE. Finally, I even tried on a Windows PC. Either something is wrong with my account or with their servers.
I would look elsewhere for a quality VPN. I got suckered with the $20 dollar lifetime membership, and the experience is pretty bad. The old adage, "You get what you pay for" comes to mind. I'm writing this review while trying to autoconnect, which has been going on 14 minutes now. I believe I paid $20 for a lifetime access to a program that shows you a loading screen until you get tired and give up. TLDR: It rarely works when it wants to, look somewhere else if you a VPN to work all the time.
It was a great value VPN. I have had this VPN since 2019 and it did improve, but lately in mid 2022 it has become very patch, failing to connect, app freezing and lots of buffering. I have been comparing Fastest to my other paid VPN and unfortunately Fastest VPN is failing at the moment. An update to app icon is required for Fire TV 4K max and Fire Cube as on these devices it has a blank icon.
To the developer: I appreciate the response and the assistance. It works. Update: I uninstalled the app from the Play store and redownloaded from the website. The app works again but still prompts me to update, which I will not be doing at this time. 5 minutes ago: l paid for a subscription but the app won't connect to any servers and is trying to force me to upgrade. That is disappointing. Before this happened, I was very happy and impressed with the Android app and the service as a whole.
I've tested quite a few VPNs lately. They can be divided into 3 categories: Working, successfully login but unable to connect to server, and login failure. The last kind is mostly because of the usage of reCAPTCHA, a google service not available in North Korea and China. But Fastest VPN is something different. Without a proxy you cannot login, but once you've passed authentication all servers are at your disposal. It can overide slow proxy with high speed transfer. So literally it's working XD.
Can't connect to any server. Bought a lifetime access as a backup and can't connect at all. Tried as many servers I see available and nothing. Update. After using the chat with app support, I was the one that caused the problem by using special characters on my account password, seems not supported. Thanks for the help.
I have been using the app for a few years on Samsung S10e android phone and it seems to work quite well most of the time. Connection can be a bit slow at times. However, I assume that is due to high internet traffic. It would be good if the app version number was showing in Google Play Store so that you don't have to update the app unnecessarily. It would also be good if you could download the app and save it first before installing it.
