Generally a great app that feels intuitive and I personally seldom have many issues with. For me and many others there's just one breaking issue: wiki pages don't load. Unfortunately this does lead me to not use this app as often as I otherwise would. It's also been an issue for (several?) months, which irks me a bit, considering I paid for the app. However, the developer seems passionate about his product and seems to genuinely care about its users. I imagine they have a life on the side too.
Decent software, but beware of overcharge. I accidentally bought features at the 5.99 price point, then realized that the 7.99 price included all of the features from the lower price point as wel as some others. I then bought the 7.99 feature set, thinking I would be prorated since I had already paid 5.99 but instead I was charged twice. Other than that, the app works as advertised.
I like this app in every way except that its support for enterprise accounts is iffy. It's the only one of the git apps that I can find that supports them at all, but it has two big problems: 1. I have to enter my username and password, and the address of the server, every time, and then it separately asks for two-factor authentication. 2. It forgets my login session easily. I have repeatedly tried to comment on a PR that it opens just fine and been told that I'm signed out.
Liked it enough to buy it but the wiki pages always show up blank on the app. So can't edit or even review wiki which I manage for my team projects. So the main use I have for this app doesn't function. Evidently this has been an issue since last October 2018 and we are waiting for a fix. Opened a ticket but was just closed and told search the issues yourself. The issue doesn't help me, the fix does! Disappointed I paid for this app and with no update in over a year its just abondoned. Beware!
Solid client (free version). I'm tempted to pay gto get access to the ability to edit files from Android. However I'm not seeing any updates in 2020 or now in 2021, and the last publish log didn't sound optimistic. I'll give it 5 stars once I can test the premium festures. Help me help you, even an quick update will make users like me confident enough to pay for premium. Your ratings and downloads are solid, keep up the good work!
I wish it cached a bit more data, and showed collaborators, not just contributors. Aside from that though, the app is very nice with a logical, smooth interface. The code view has nice syntax highlighting. Significantly better than the official app.
Navigation to own repository issues is awkward, the navigation hierarchy is not well organized. Not showing private repos on organizations I have access to. If I go to an issue on the app, update the issue description on the web then refresh the issue on the app, the new text doesn't appear.
Great app, but I have a few wishes: 1) First, I think that adding of automatic backup will be really helpful because there's situations when my phone kills fasthub task and all uncommited changes were gone 2) Decrease time of sync, because I need to wait like minute or maybe even more before I can see edited version of file after commit was done Definitely, 5 stars
You know you've made it when your app is better than the official one. This is THE ONLY github app you need. Does everything (that I need at least). Love the multiple theme selections. Sometimes I do get a error message when trying to star a repo, but it goes away too fast to read it. I know it mentions something about a lot, but I haven't found it yet. Bottom line: the app is worth it. The paid versions are worth it. You'll be happy with it , promise.
Nice app! it keeps everything compact as it should, while showing all action icons/buttons. I think one thing where it could improve on is adding emoji translation. My repositories' commits are populated with emoji's (Gitmoji), but the app won't show them. it will only show the keyword like `:fire:`
Really puts all the work you are active on to the forefront. Issues and PRs are in your face and easy to get through. Thoughtful organization for a multi-project developer. UI is simple in a good way. Thanks for this.
This is a good app for GitHub but it really needs a user setting to choose which font you want to use when viewing code. I prefer to read code in a proportional font not a monospaced font. I'd also like to be able to adjust the font size of the code while it is in "wrapped text mode". Most preferable would be a Setting to allow me to specify the font and don't size that I would like to use when viewing code.
Easily the best git client for android. If anyone knows of a better I would be surprised. having used loads of them, this is the best. Everything is really intuitive and nicely laid out. You may now be asking why not 5 stars then? Well dear reader I have two issues. 1) wikis don't load 2) links sometimes don't work The first one has been around for ages and is by far the most iritating for me. When this gets fixed this is an incredibly easy 5*. The devs have done amazingly, I love this app!
This is the best Github client for Android, but it has some bugs, it does not show all issues, and the images are not uploaded in issue creation area. These are the two problems I've found in this app
Easily one of the most powerful github clients for mobile. It'd be good if there was a search option inside files though. Sometimes the files could be rather large and you just have to scroll to find what you want. That's the only nitpick I have.
This app is great! Have all the features we need in a so small app. Editing review cause dev guided me how to show organizations. One suggestion left: 1) The "watch" feature just have two states (unwatched and watched). We need "watch releases" too; P.S.: you could implement features from Chrome extension's Refined GitHub.
I don't understand what happened..it used to work just fine for me but now it's not letting me download any of the apps I used to be able to download from here.. Every time I try to download something app related it just gives me a download unsuccessful error. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling this app and yes I gave it storage permission..i really hope this gets fixed. ☹️
Rated 2 stars in the past but now changing back to 5 because majority of the main issues have been solved again. Took ages and thought the dev had given up with the project but finally it's back to a fully functional app, well 98%-ish which to me is good enough considering the state it was previously in after loving/using it for so long. Gg dev for pulling ya finger out xD
App might be okay, but creating a new file and editing it didn't work well at all. UI was off, creating a file from within a directory didn't work, and the file editor would start prepopulated with JSON.
Edit: Thanks for the tip. Found it. Edited rating to 5 star. Keep doing the good work. Nice app. I have been using premium version since few months and it is really good. However I would love to see a few more features like Access to GitHub releases section, ability to see check signs that my travis, appveyor builds passed.
I've been using FastHub Libre from F-Droid for over a year for website managing and private projects. As a free as in freedom tool, it has become my daily driver and today has become the day I decided to buy the full all-featured premium access just to contribute in some way to this awesome app, even if I had all the features before with the "Libre" version. For me, it's worth spending some money for the continuity of this project and for replenishing the coffee mugs of this great developer :)
Even though the app is not updated for two years, still works very good. Using on a daily basis. Excellent app. Hope it will get updated soon - Issues are not working.
It is a distinctive application. Of all the ones I have used including the one made by GitHub itself, Fasthub has the best user interface and user experience.
Thanx dev for this amazing app although most needed features are paid and price is too high but I appreciate what you doing.... and you should get for it but having that much high price won't help and only earning guys can afford that... As a student its not fitting for me and many more guys out there... thanx
Bought the pro version and cannot edit or do anything commit-related to files. This was a very important feature to me and I'm saddened that it no longer works.
Wikis are non-functional (blank). Sometimes changes to issues don't stick. Other than that, solid app.
Not good for typing, and there are some lag issues. Most editors are in a tiny window that barely takes up the whole screen. Some let you expand into fullscreen, but others don't. Performance is terrible when loading files >20 kb. The progress bar just hangs. Otherwise, there aren't many other issues with it aside from some inconsistent UI choices.
