Fastient - fasting tracker & journal

Simple is Best! What I enjoy about this app is that it's lightweight, works offline, and displays pertinent information that doesn't require navigation. I don't desire anything to be improved, nor any features added. I like how simple it is to add weigh-ins from the journal tab too. I honestly love the dark mode colors -very synthwave- thanks dev(s)! In addition, I enjoy the privacy of this app.

uninstalled - only option is to "start fast" - even if I'm in non-fasting time. and I could not find any option to set fast start or end time, that's basic step missing - just goal- so poor User experience. UI was good, clean, may be when they add these functionalities, will come back.

I bought the paid version and am very happy with this app in general. It has detailed stats and a smooth minimalistic interface. The only flaw is the basal metabolic rate graph. It's completely messed up. I don't know if this is a problem solely with the graph or extends to the actual calculation. I strongly suspect the former. Having tried several of the other top fasting apps, I still highly recommend this app.

I love this app. It has a very minimal, clean look and layout and it's very simple to use. The free version provides everything you need without any ads, and the prices for the premium version, which provides commonly requested aesthetic features, are very low. I would recommend this app to anyone who's fasting, no matter if it's extended water fasts, or intermittent fasting.

I have been using this for about half a month now, and it has definitely helped me. I tried fasting before, but for some reason pushing the button helps, and I liked the tracked data. Seeing the weight loss graphed was pretty helpful. Knocking off a star because all that data that I like has disappeared for some reason, and I don't see any way to get it back. My preferences and identity info is still there, but the weight and fasting history is just gone. I don't really need it, but it was nice to have.

Edit: I gave this a 1 star previously because I was unable to register, but I was able to do so through a VPN. The dev was very responsive about the issue and is looking into it. It is likely related to me being located in Russia somehow and is out of his control for now. That said, the site and app have very nice, simple UIs and I like that there is flexibility in being able to use either one to log your info. It also allows you to set very long-term fasting goals, while other apps cap out at a certain number of days. Very handy to be able to submit entries with weight, pictures, and notes.

Really digging this app, but premium needs more features. For 11 bucs I'd really, really like to see a widget. Fitbit integration would be great too. Also when I upload a picture it always turns it 90 degrees for no reason. Otherwise I love the simplicity and design. If things change I'll purchase premium for sure, especially for that dark mode (which should not be behind a paywall). Galaxy S8+

Excellent app! It occasionally logs me out, but other than that it's great! Very easy to use. To record your weight, you need to input the weight while you are fasting. There's a place to keep notes or to journal your fasting experience. No ads! (You can pay for an upgraded version if you want to.)

Loving this application. Bought premium just to support the dev as I greatly appreciate the time put into this. I find it incredibly motivating to see the time fasted go up. It's very easy to add journal entries to detail how I'm feeling during a fast. I feel like there could be some improvements in terms of grouping entries with particular fasts. would be interesting to see a rating system (based on emojis or numbers out of 10) to identify the trends on how I feel based on how far into the fast

I downloaded all the fasting apps. Kept this one cause I thought it was the best. Simple to use, data can be downloaded and its not always bugging me with push notifications. Just good, simple and easy to use. I can log notes, weight and pictures ect.. And its all kept in date order so I can review my progress. There is a free version but I will be purchasing this app.

i absolutely love the design, it's easy to use and understand. I was tired and bored of complicated/eye tiring designs. this app is simple and doesn't scare you on fasting. shows your goals and I really liked the pink bar shows how much progress you made when you set a time goal. I'm loving this so far and I'm so happy that I finally found this app. good work!!!thanks a lot !! ♡

I love this app! I am in control of when I fast, and it is super simple to enter the data. Unlike other plans, there is a one-time payment for premium features instead of a monthly charge. I only wish I would stay logged in when I click on the app on my phone. I did purchase the premium option. Thank you for this simple and effective app.

This is a really good app. Basic. No extra stupid frills like turning itself into social media. No ads. P.S. I noticed someone complained about having to create an account. That's to keep your record always accessible, even on different devices, if you get a new phone, etc.

Beautiful, simple interface, and I love that it shows calories burned, allows me to set or not set a goal, and shows a progress bar if I do set a goal! Also love the developer's involvement in the fasting community and responsiveness to questions and feature requests.

Simple and intuitive design. The first one of these apps I didn't delete after 2 minutes! I also love that you can simply tell the app when you started and ended your fast - unlike the other apps with pre-set times! Perfect for my needs. Thank you.

Shouldnt need an account for a basic fast tracker. Why would I want sync? That should be an opt-in function. Looks good but I'm not making an account for something I can do with a sticky note.

I'm so disappointed in this app. It is NOT easy to use. I cannot seem to change the times on the app or even on my desktop. I have tried multiple times, but it always reverts back to the original time. I guess I am going to have to uninstall it and try a different app. This is just too frustrating. If they ever make it more user friendly, I'll give it another try.

worked great and had nice note adding function! But when I went back to start my next fast the app asked me to sign in. Its glitched out and not letting me sign in. edit- Since this attempt it allowed me to log in after numerous attempts and closing and ooening the app over and over. Took about 15 minutes in total to open. There were no error codes as all that was happening was it would try and log in indefinitely.

great app and im happy to finally have it in the playstore. I'd love to be able to have a notification for planned future fasts when the time comes, or maybe even a half hour prior warning too. also would be great to have a widget with completion percentage, as that's the only thing stopping me from making this my only fast app.

This app is almost perfect, but for me the two largest deal breakers are: - No offline use, you have to be online - no push notifications for reminding you to end or start your fast I guess it's back to the zero fasting app. If these features ever get added, I'm definitely buying the premium

I love Fastient. There are other apps out there that do the same thing, but I've been using Fastient since before the app (when it was just a website), and now I'm loyal to the brand. :P That being said, it does everything you could need it to and the UI is simple and intuitive. For a free app, there is not much more you could ask for. :)

Fastient does not have some of the features of other fasting apps, but it also has none of the unwanted trackers. I prefer it to all others.

A simple to use fasting tracker utilizing an intuitive user interface. Premium features as well as monetization in general are handled very fair and reasonable. The privacy policy seems reasonable too, no concerns there. Definitely recommended!
