I downloaded this app because I desire to be closer to God through prayer and fasting and was greatly appreciative of finding this app! To my great chagrin and frustration though, it is riddled with unholy ads that promote everything but God and provides no way for anyone to opt out of those ads! God tells us we need to get out of Babylon! Making a free app that is designed to help us come closer to God that is funded by Babylon is a contradiction in terms! Ask for contributions instead!
The purpose is good and have potential. just need to add more feature to motivate people to install it. like add fasting counter or alarms when to start / break the fast and pray. 🙂 let me know if this is added hehe
fasting, a discipline that is followed by almost all faiths and spiritualities, is practiced to gain empathy, to bring renewal or to deprive oneself from the worldy to experience the holy or spritual. of course, i never tell anybody that i am fasting when i am fasting. although i downloaded the app, i dont agree with the apps opinions in regards to the bible. i do, however, respect others beliefs or non-beliefs
i absolutely love this app. I read the first two days so far. i just recently downloaded it. Day 1 really spoke too me. Day 2 reminded me of what i needed to remember. This app is perfect for connecting one to God. Thank you for this app & God bless
reading through this fasting n prayer app really got me thinking honestly bcuz it helps me to see that i have fallen short where fasting is concerned and i said to myself i really have to get back to my routine of fasting as it was something that i was doing regularly .So i must say to the Developer of this app a very big thank you .Five stars is what i gave you bcuz you really deserve it. continue to do what you"re doing and may God bless you tremendously.
I just downloaded this today on my dad's phone. I read the first 3, and just absolutely loved it. Thank you, I look forward to exercising these things through prayer and fasting. God bless you richly. - Emily

FOR WE ALL HAVE AN PURPOSE IN LIFE WITHOUT KNOWLEDGE TO IT WE HAVE AN DEEP VOID OF EMPTYNESS UNSATIFIED OR ASTAINED. FOR IT'S FROM THE DISCONNECTION FROM GOD & SIN INDULGED OURSELVES IN SOME NO --

My initial impression is that this app was written by someone who developed their theology organically, independent of the widely accepted Western models and seminary education that inform mainstream Protestant doctrine. The result (sound biblical perspective, albeit leaning slightly pentecostal) is a testimony to the inerrancy of the Word and perfect guidance of the Holy Spirit. The app frequently refers to an "author" but never gives a clear picture of the narrator. Perhaps the writer has confused anonymity with humility. On the contrary, establishing the identity of the author would only add to the credibility of the teaching and would also make for a clearer narrative, easier to read and relate to. Speaking of clarity, depending on the personality of the user, I could see some preferring a more straight forward "how to" fasting app, supported by related verses. App does not get into the topic of fasting til day 7. However if the story shared day one is the author's, again please remove any mystery and be clear on that, but it is a powerful and moving testimony. Hopefully it is a true first person account. The Texas to London faith-healing story, with the ending 25 years later is harder to believe. Again, details make a difference. Cite your sources and clean up the (nearly perfect) copy to be free from grammar errors so that the rest of your content isn't seen as less credible by association. Good job, as a first run. Second and third versions will bring exponential increases in the quality of writing and strong doctrine. If you are open to healthy feedback you might submit your ideas to a spiritual leader you trust. The distinction between the two ways of engaging with the Holy Spirit I found fascinating and doesn't strike me as faulty, but might be differing opinions from scholars with more knowledge than I. Of course one need only look to the Source for the final verdict. Again just refreshing the message remains unchanged across time and culture and regardless what vessel bears the good news. Oh, did not see it mentioned that believers need not do a total fast for 40 consecutive days. Common sense, but doesn't hurt to point out.
