There are too many ads that that are difficult to close. Very frustrating. Used to be a better app until recently 😪
I am so excited for this new update! I had purchased the premium version a while back when it still didn't have many features. And I am so happy that the developer(s) didn't forget about this app. I love that there are finally widget, the new calendar, and the ability to have. Amobing background (because I can now use some GIFs that really motivate me, personally). I still hope to see an update that adds an option to edit which quotes I get to see! 🤞
Using it for 2 YEARS. Better before newest update. Ads more often and more Each time. Thinking about switching.
Has potential to be a useful app but ruined by the ads at every stage. Why do developers insist on doing this? Disappointed!!
Works, but the loud ads make it impossible. It works fine, but then when you change something it gives you not just an ad, but one that plays noise. Which means it's basically impossible to use the app since you remember that you forgot to end the fasting time at work and now you blast an ad out to all your co-workers. So unless your phone is always on mute, I would recommend another app.
I love this add! I paid for full version almost as soon as I got it. My biggest complaint is that I wish the weight tracker was in graph form instead of list form. Also, I paid for the ability to change the back ground image for the app but that only changes the initial screen of the app... Not the other menu options. Not a gamechanger by any means, but annoying to someone who likes continuity. *updated to add: agree with another poster... App and widget should be updated to show hours remaining in a fast!* Love that you can edit fast times if you make a mistake with starting or stopping! Since having this app to hold me accountable (about one week) I have lost six pounds! I highly recommend this app!
I have had the app for a while and am sticking with it even after perusing some of the other highly rated ones. I would love to see another feature that seems to be consistent with the others, though. I hope that you will consider adding it. I think it provides the daily motivation to remember the health- hormonal benefits of fasting-not just weight loss. On the timer page it would be great to see what stage the body is in during the moment you are looking at the timer. 03/21
Best fasting app hands down. The creator thought of everything. I have lots of apps but this is my first review ever. I only took the time to do it in case someone else has been wishing for a great fasting app. Also love that they weren't trying to get some type of subscription. I paid for great features and just love it. Had one issue, they responded promptly, and issue solved. Admittedly, it was user error.
Eady to use & easy to edit if you forget to initiate start or stop. Would be nice if it synced with smart scales & fitbit or other smartwatches. Layout is easy to follow, can edit backgrounds. Still haven't figure out how to upload a photo for before/after comparisons. Overall the easiest/simplest one I have found to use. Considering going with the upgrade version...
15 display options and yet none of them show "time remaining" on your fast!! 😣 Neither will it show when your fast will end. It just counts your time up in total hours (or years, minutes, heartbeats, breaths, etc) lame . History and stats do not always show. Too bad because you can set your own preset fasts, journal notes and has lots of theme options. Free version riddled with ads.
Loved the look of this app and ability to customize, but I could not turn off notifications. The countdown of my fast was constantly on the top of my notification bar. Even by going into the settings and turning it off the timer would still appear. It seemed like it would be a great app, but the timer was annoying.
Smooth. No glitches. Easy to use. Possible could add a way to add actual start time to fast as well as just the start button. In other words, if I missed actual start time, I could go back and adjust it. Love the weight tracker. Maybe add a calorie counter. Good job on the app.
Very easy to use, nice background pictures. The notification that shows me the fasting time without opening the app is why I've deleted other apps. That's the best part about this one. Just wish there was a way to manually add a start time because sometimes I forget to hit start when I begin to fast.
Just started learning more about fasting and trying things it, and I like this app so far! Very easy to use. So far I only have two features I wish were implemented: confirmation dialog when stopping a fast, and have a bit more flexibility when it comes to "scheduling" length of fasts.
Waaaaaaayyyyy too many ads too often!!!!!!!😡😡😡😡😡😡
I was looking for something simple that I could start off fast and get the timer going. Something I really like about it is, if I forget to set the timer, I can go back and change the time to when I actually started. They send me great quotes each day to motivate me. There's not a ton of ads or irritating stuff that frustrates me about other apps. It's just simple and intuitive, and it does exactly what I need.
Fasting apps are supposed to be simple and to the point and this one is. Every other fasting app I've tried is catered to very specific facts (IF, Warrior Fast, EF, etc.); there were no ways for us to change the times of our fasts, only to choose a certain type. With this one, I can input the exact hours that I want to fast for. Right now, I'm starting a seven day fast and was able to input the 168 hours. THAT was the gamechanger for me to use this app as opposed to the others.
Really nice, good bare bones app, with pretty backgrounds, motivating quotes, helpful widgets and notifications. Set your own fasting styles as this isn't an information app. I do recommend choosing hours, minutes, seconds rather than summary display, unless you are doing keto or some other style of limited eating other than total fasting.
Just purchased your app and I do like it a lot. Although if I may make two suggestions that I know would improve the app for me and maybe others as well. First would be a way to backup the app data to something like Google drive or Dropbox and second would be a way to default name the fasts by the fast date, while retaining the option to rename them if needed.
I would much rather chart my eating windows, because my eating window moves a lot from day to day, trying not to deprioritize social eating. I try to keep my eating window in the 4-6 hour range. The fast length chart is not a good visualization of whether or not I'm being consistent with my eating window goals. But I looked at other Android apps and the only one I found with an eating window chart had trouble charting an eating window that crossed midnight. So for now I'm using this.
Easy to use, works its function. Its a timer for the fasting time. I wish you could step up like 16:8 & once the 16hrs were done that the 8hrs of eating would show up. But you do it manually
