After using other CTA bus and train tracker apps, I decided to make a better app and make it FREE!
Uses the CTA Bus Tracker and CTA Train Tracker APIs to deliver up-to-the minute information.

Been using this for over six years now. It doesn't have the bells and whistles of some others like trip planning, but if you know what stop you need to go to, it does an amazingly simple job of doing it. Highly recommend.
after the latest upgrade, it added random favorites, i can't add my own favorites anymore. should have not updated, last version all least worked. uninstalled and switched to different app.
It would be a 5 star if the app allows me to save certain train stops on my favorites. I have deleted the bus favs thinking it would help...yet nothing! Pink line, Red line
Love the app the accuracy of the buses and train the real time arrival time the GPS where the bus is located it is a great app I do recommend it to everyone
Nice feature of showing where the bus actually is located. Company has been responsive to questions about app.
It doesn't have any suburb trains listed so you can't see times out of Chicago.

It works when they want it to. Never reliable. You have to show up the day before the times show on here to make it since it's never correct. Garbage app just like the public service.

CTA is very helpful to Chicagoans
....The CTA trains App does NOT show the newly added L stop for the Purple Line Express, which now stops at the new transfer station of Wilson Avenue.
Excellent app that displays accurate information on trains, buses and also divvy bikes availability in Chicago. Simple and straightforward. Doesn't need an account. Has a favorites tab containing bus stops or train stations of interest that are starred. Definitely recommend for tourists.
