Having purchased this a few weeks ago I'm now told this isn't current and there's a new app to purchase. Rip off
I emailed the dev with an issue, as per request in app description. Over a week has gone by with no response and my issue makes the app unusable. Waste of $5.
Has a few M8 kernel control features that Trickster doesn't. But Trickster has Multi-Core Power Saving and other more important features that Faux lacks.
*update no response from developer app not really helping and do not have voltage control.* Using apps kernel. Still no voltage control. Still not sure about the other settings. Will update rating after response from developer.
I didn't know I needed all of these control options until I got the app! The amount of control I have is amazing. Thanks for the great work Faux123!!! EDIT: But with Linux 3.0 Kernels it does not work AT ALL
Too bad the developer is unresponsive and no longer releasing updates to the app or kernels...
This was a great app. But as it is not updated frequently,it is missing many features comparing to other free apps like synapse or kernel adiutor
Does its job, causes weird random lag though.
Hasn't updated kernel or app since March... I doubt any support for Android M will be available =(
On Note 3. But, with some kernels, I need to combine with Trickster, to control the "touch to wake" feature. Also, it'll be interesting a little explanation of the Same Page merge management. I see that the parameters are really cryptic if you aren't really into the "thing". It's about trial and error...
Just purchased this and it won't start just keeps checking for license and say not received please check WiFi and or data connection and try again please kindly tell me how to fix really want to try this app cheers
Waste of money. This Dev used to be one of the best. All the support of is Kernel is gone . Is page is shutdown. So just dont wate your money in this apk because you will not find the kernel to download.
I cant acces the apps settings, the min clock doesnt stick to the value that i want...Waisted money...this app should be banned and money refunded. Shame on you developer.
Used to work. reinstall it and now all I got is spinning progress bar and Checking Google License. try clearing app data, playstore data still nothing.

SELinux status needed to be set to Permissive for my Note 4. Works perfectly now. Upping to five stars from one. :)
I've always used this apps, which is amazing. But I've bought an octacore smartphone, and faux do not detect the little cores. Any chance of getting an update anytime soon?
S7 edge it only lets you control the little cores which max out at 1.59 ghz and the big cores go up to 2.15
Requesting more access [or easier ] device specific kernels. The Faux app knows exactly what i have, right ? Then the Faux app should be able to tell me what my options are through Faux. I want your work Faux, i am eager to donate ! Thank you Dev !!

Faux kernel is the best. But app doesn't appear AS good as THE kernel. Dev asks to send email with issues before rating low, but when contacted via email, doesn't respond to email. ( Agreed.. Might be busy with some personal commitments.. ). Faux kernel is the best mix of performance and battery life.
