This was my go to app to compare sales, but not anymore. I select stores such as Harris Teeter and Aldi yet the sales stopped showing up a few weeks ago. Other stores like Walmart, Food Lion, and CVS work still. Yes, I have an older phone, but that shouldn't matter. Disappointed that the developers are ignoring users feedback and not responding to major app issues.
I'm a couponer and I used to use this app faithfully and it was accurate and the best one out there, all of a sudden none of my stores come up! What a huge disappointment!!! Especially since I have people wanting me to show them how to coupon; the first thing I'd tell them was to download Favado, now I've been on the look out for another app like favado or should I say how favado use to be. I hope they'll fix this asap!!!
I used to LOVE this app! I used it literally ALL THE TIME! But since their recent update, I no longer get one of my favorite Grocery stores, Winn Dixie, and they no longer have a BOGO section. This app is useless to me now. I may as well do all my shopping at Walmart and delete this app. So disappointed!
I used this app faithfully almost every single day. And now it just does nothing I know it said it was shutting down, cuz there wasn't enough users .. but I think it needs to try again because there are way more people that will use it.this was the best app and I have yet to find anything even remotely close to it. Even if you make people pay for it, I would absolutely pay.
This is app was awesome, prior before it stopped showing me a message every day saying no sales are available for your picked stores. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app several times and each time the same message displays for very common stores.
Love this app!! First off, there IS A FIX if it's not working anymore: delete your stores, then select "stores near me" and select them back. It worked for me! I love this app because I drink too much Diet Coke (instead of coffee) and frequently need to find out where it is on sale near me. It's wonderful and handy!!
Don't waste your time or phone space downloading this app now. This app used to work perfectly. Since October/November many of my fave stores were slowly taken away, then this morning NONE of my stores are available. This app no longer serves purpose other than consuming space from your phone. As a couponer this was my favorite go-to app to organize my shops. I'm so disappointed now. Hopefully the development team can figure it out or let us know if this will no longer a functional app.
This app used to be awesome but now it doesn't show alot of grocery stores like it used to like Safeway, Giant, Weis, Harris Teeter, etc. This is so frustrating especially theres no way to call them to let them know or to complain to a live person to get some answers. Btw I have a Galaxy S9 so my phone isn't old at all.
To all Favado users, As we review our portfolio of products for the rest of 2019 and beyond, we must sadly announce the end of development of the Favado app as of April 30, 2019. Both Favado iOS and Android apps will no longer be available or supported after that date. Our team is having to refocus our efforts on other products that can enhance the shopping experience and make it easier for consumers to save money. Just in case you didnt read your email from them. Sorry to see it end :(
IF YOU HAVE AN OLDER PHONE and Favado is still working, DON'T UPDATE. I don't know why I clicked update (the app was wonderful) but I did, and now it is NOT working at ALL. There has been no response to my support requests. I am so disappointed to lose this app.
What was my favorite app has since been deleted. The updated app is horrible and I can never find what I am looking for. Comparing only 2 stores at a time is tedious and frustrating. There are never any "published sales," and I can no longer just search by store.
Won't open past "Favado" logo screen. Has not been updated for 3 years(2018-2021) & counting. I now use "Flip", which actually works. Deleting Favado App to regain wasted space.
looks like a nice interface, but it doesn't have many of the chain grocery stores I shop at, such as acme or giant (east cost). please expand grocery listing and I might download again.
Ok so I just got the app, but at first glance I can see that this favors big corporations (chemical foods that are litterally killing you). So far I do not see the organic brands or "real food" brands. (No I am not a stuck up snoopy save the earth person, just a real person who has spent a lot of time learning and researching the truth about the foods we eat.) So I will keep checking this out to see if more of these items show up. Until then, I see an opportunity of my own....
I loved using this app specifically to look up BOGO sales, since I often stack these with coupons. Since the BOGO category was removed after a recent app update, the app is all but useless to me now. Too bad. I will be looking for something different.
this app doesn't work effectively, Every time I turn it on it says it's having trouble connecting with my Server. Even though my other apps work this is not an app for me therefore I'm going to just uninstall it
😣 used to love this app, but now although some local stores are listed, walmart (which I rarely go to), is the only one with prices. Favorite, closer stores are not listed.
In the past I would have given it 4⭐, but for months now it will not connect. A quick check shows me that my wifi signal is not the problem. it's annoying af.
Since it is no longer supported, why not remove the app from the app store? It is no longer working ("having difficulty connecting to our servers") and useless.
had this app before and loved it. I redownload it and now it doesnt work anymore. none of my stores show up, no sales, nothing. every time I open the app it says they dont have any published sales and to come back later. how are there no sales over weeks????
It hasn't been working for me for about a month or two. It says there's an issue connecting to the servers. I've done the normal troubleshooting to not avail.
They removed all the grocery stores from the app and it made the app completely useless. They still have Wal-Mart and Target, but those are not grocery stores.
well that was pointless. grocery store comparison and they dont even have top named grocery stores. they do have frys electronics though and their great grocery selection. stupid app.
I've used this app for a long time and loved it. Recently I can't even get on and if I do, it doesn't find anything I search. getting really frustrated!
My app hasnt worked weeks apon weeks. I have a coupon app & there it was & it worked. I had uninstalled my app cuz wasnt working, but reinstalled entered stores back in & presto sales appeared. But one hitch when go into menu of your stores it shows doubles it second one below it works again. Why glitch, who knows?
