The app and the service has improved recently! The app now gives better push notifications for order status updates. The best runners communicate directly and I appreciate that! It can be frustrating when multiple runners grab and drop your order with nothing getting done, but that's happening less over the past month or so. Keep up the good work y'all!
Favor is ok. Routinely, orders are wrong or store items are not updated so random substitutions are made. Once we waited over an hour and no one ever accepted our order and eventually it was canceled. No notice or anything. And tbh, the delivery credit promos are garbage. Who needs $50 in delivery credit when 1) the delivery isn't that expensive and 2) there's not enough choices to use $50 WORTH of delivery on this app. Favor needs better options, better UI and better customer support.
Not only are the delivery fees extremely expensive and only new users can get a discount on anything but it takes forever to get an order accepted and the driver has to order it themselves so sometimes you get the completely wrong thing plus a fee if you order less than 10$ worth of stuff and sometimes the person who it says is delivering it is completely off
App/service is pretty meh to start with, but recently it's been extra garbage. For some reason the app will no longer let me choose food from a restaurant. If I select an item then is just loops me back to restaurant selection. It'll maybe work if I force close it over and over, but why do that when I can just order from a better app like Uber Eats or DoorDash or something like that.
deceent service, food is always delivered however the menus on this app for the fast food places aren't always up to date. So you'll end up ordering something you want off here and it'll potentially not be on the menu anymore and your driver will call and you'll end up having to order something else or cancel all together.
Drivers aren't "assigned" they basically put it up as a free grab so most of the time you're waiting on someone to decide if it's worth their time and can decide midway that it isn't and reset the timer all over again. Also notifications are pushed to your personal number through your drivers personal number so you end up with however many drivers personal phone info as well as yours to them. Too long waits, just not worth it unless you live close to where you're ordering.
I am switching to a new delivery service. There are to many issues with Favor. Don't let Favor deceive you. I am not speaking of the app it works fine. Favor is not a good company to get your deliveries from. They have drivers that are not the runners you see on the profile, that's a safety concern, food is often tampered with, they can never get an order right, food and or groceries missing. Do not use Favor and if you have problems with them contact HEB they own the company.
Now either the restaurant or favor has resorted to price gouging. I ordered two breakfast sausage muffins from Starbucks that were listed for 4.50 each. Check the estimated total before I ordered and it was under $20. I went ahead and ordered and by the time it was delivered it was $35. Looked at the receipt that was available on the favor app and all it listed was $25 with no other information. I have delete the app and will simply order directly from the stores.
I prefer Favor over ALL other delivery services! My instructions are almost always followed, my food is always fresh, and the drivers are always conscientious, friendly, and I have rarely ever had a complaint. Thank you to all the wonderful delivery specialists out there doing us a huge Favor today and in the future! Please be safe and may God bless each one of you!
The app crashes daily during lunchtime. What a joke, on Pixel 6. Even after clearing cache and force closing it. The minute I click on any menu item in any merchant it crashes.
Used in 2018. Still needs MAJOR app improvements in 2021. False & Tricky coupon advertisements. Unclear menus. Basic functionalities missing. Unclear/Tricky totals/payout process. It's simple, just look at Door Dash and Grub Hub and fix your app. 5-1-22-- WHEN I AM SCROLLING, I KEEP HITTING "YOUR ITEMS" --- FIX YOUR APP. STOP SENDING LUNCH SPECIALS A FEW HOURS BEFORE LUNCH, DUMMIES!!! WE ALREADY PLANNED OR BROUGHT OUR LUNCHES.
They overcharge wayy too much and they BLOCKED me from being able to contact them! Ordered brkfst today, runner NEVER even let me knw it was here, didn't give receipt either! Did a price comparison to mcdonalds, same order with taxes 12.42! Even without tip, total was 16.64, they charged .72 cents for SYRUP!Mcdonalds doesn't charge for it! That is why they make the runners place the orders so they can upcharge and still charge taxes. FAVOR IS A RIPOFF AND SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!!
Has the worse customer service! Service over text message and response time is very slow! In addition, doesn't have a GPS map to shpw where driver is located where others do.
I get emails that I can save money with y'all but every time I try to use it I get a notification that the max number has already been used. When I use door dash or Uber I get what I was offered. But not with y'all. So I'm done with even trying to see what your services are like. You've wasted enough of my time, and you look like big fat liars because of it. I have zero respect for that.
Awful customer service. I can't think of a business that I love more than HEB, but Favor is the exact opposite- indifferent, slow, rude. Out of respect for HEB, I let this app screw me over three times. Each time I waited for more than an hour for food that was never going to come... After reaching out to customer service each time, I was told that it was my fault for not canceling the order sooner, as if somehow I'm supposed to know that no one was coming? Bye Favor!
Lots of coupons, and would be good if you could find a driver that won't give up your order after 5 minutes. Haven't received my last 3 orders and every time customer service is super slow in responding for a refund.
Quick and easy just wished the restaurant included their full menu. Also if time operation would be included for both restaurants and runners, that would be so helpful.
Idk what the deal is but every time I order on favor my runners change at least 3 times. I have to wait minimum of 30 minutes before I even get a runner to finally accept my order. I end up just cancelling and picking up the order myself since it takes less time than waiting for someone to accept my order
This app is ridiculous. They charge extra for your food than what the restaurant actually sells for. On top of that, they force a service fee, delivery fee, and tip. My $9 order turned in to 22. Oh, and don't get me started on the runners, they don't pay attention and have very low attention to detail. I guess that is to be expected from any food delivery now days. Very unprofessional, and scammers. Im never ordering delivery again. You guys throw promos out but still charge a whole $12 extra
Avoid favor if you have another gas station available, because favor sends out coupon codes via it's app, let's you put the code in and says it was accepted, does not give you a total til after your order is delivered, and then at that point does not honor said coupon. Beware of this app big time
ive had several really terrible experiences with customer service and support. waiting hours after placing order and never being assigned a runner and not being notified of this, and I've had the wrong food delivered several times as well that conflict with my food allergies. will not be using again
Buyer beware! Epically deceptive practices that will rob you of your actual money. They send me notice of a $50 credit, logged into my account, and there it was, although I couldn't click on it or read any fine print. I placed an order thinking, as is the case with great companies like Amazon or Über Eats, it would be applied at checkout. The completely misleading alert is that it only applies to the delivery fee, not the order. Completely misleading app. Use something, ANYTHING else.
Was a really great app until you request a refund that never gets refunded. Then you try to order the same thing from the same store that has never been an issue for over a year and then all of a sudden its a issue. Find that ironic!!! And theres no cs phone number you have to use messaging and they take a ridculous long time to respond!!! Such false advertising as well!!!
Far too often the wait time for my order to even be picked up by a runner is several hours. At this point the only reason I haven't deleted the app is because no other delivery app exists where I live and the *sometimes* pick up my order. Also the menus are always extremely out of date. Also who is in charge of updating the app, make sure the stores and restaurants are actually open when you say they are. It's a big hassle for both the customer and the runner.
Routinely I have gotten wrong orders or items missing. When an order is placed, the driver that is shown as picking up items, doesnt. Instead, the driver stays idle for up to twenty or thirty minutes before another driver "accepts" the order, who may or may not actually pick up the items, idling until that choice is made. Finally, at some point a driver who does find my order worthy to pick up somehow regulary forgets items or brings the wrong items entirely. I am done with Favor. For good!
