Update: Favoreats confirmed that the search features I'm describing are not available for Android. ------ While some of the features of this app are great, I'll say that it's not intuitive at ALL to use. I was under the impression that I'd be able to search for recipes by ingredients that I have available, but I don't seem to have that function. I also can't search for recipes by certain bloggers (ex: Damn Delicious). When I try, nothing comes up. Super frustrating.
This app is a game changer when it comes to meal planning. There are a ton of features to love. My favorites are that the app shows the most recommended recipes at the top of collections so you can get real, tested recommendations easily. The meal planning feature makes it easy to plan what's for dinner and the auto grocery list will save you time & money. But my absolute favorite feature is that the app will show your ingredients on one side and directions on the other when cooking. Ingenious!
The recipes so far have been great. the click & drag doesn't always work, making me feel like I'm doing something wrong. The main reason I installed the app was to be able to type in an ingredient & find recipes using the ingredients. Only works for Main ingredient on Android like chicken, beef, potatoes etc. I get food from a food distribution where food in donated, so I get a lot of strange ingredients. I want to be able to type in that ingredient & be able to use it, not waste it. If I find another app that does that I'll switch.
I really love this meal planning app. It's really helped me meal plan quickly and easily. I love that all my Pinterest recipes pull in automatically and that I can change the number of people served and it automatically scales the ingredient measurments. If I'm ever stuck not knowing what to fix for dinner I can look at what my friends made that week and get some inspiration. The shopping list is awesome too.
This app is a great idea and works pretty well for being a free app. What drives me nuts is that you can't move list items to different categories on your shopping list. For someone who organizes their shopping list by categories it can be really frustrating to find out you've missed something and have to go across the store to get it.
A YouTuber recommended this in a video. And i was so excited to try it. Used her code and downloaded it, only to see that hers that she was showing on her phone was MUCH different than what I'm seeing on my end. Pinterest doesn't load and I can't add my own ingredients from my pantry anywhere. I paid $1.99 thinking it would unlock more features and it did not. Severely disappointed and want my money back.
I want to like this app so much but it just does not work! Every time I try to add a recipe from any website I get "invalid recipe data." It's just so frustrating to then have to deal with the ads that pop up every time I get "invalid recipe data" just to retry adding the recipe only for it to fail again. I thought about upgrading in order to avoid the ads and hoping it would fix the invalid recipe data but I'm not willing to waste my money.
What a lifesaver! My favorite feature is probably that it auto-creates a shopping list from my menu plans. Amazing!!! I've added some family favorites, which is nice to be able to share. Then on crazy weeks like this, they suggested some great, easy recipes. Game changer for staying on top of my Mom game.
Was good as first, but now i cannot sign in bc the app keeps shutting down. Its been like this for over a month. I even tried uninstalling the app and redownloading it, but still will not let me login. I tried resetting my password but instead the app will shutdown. I even downloaded the app on my Chromebook but wouldn't let me login.
Such a great app! It made it so easy to see all my favorite recipes from pintrest as I meal planned for the week and helped us try new things. The grocery list it provide was so amazing and made my job so much easier. love it!
The app didn't send me the confirmation text and couldn't sign me in nor I received any response from the multiple messages I sent to correct the issue. The app basically didn't sign me in but registered my email and phone.. So i couldn't try to sign up again!
This app really simplifies the meal planning/grocery list making process. Very easy to use. Absolutely genius! Love, love, love it. I believe every person that cooks and/or grocery shops for their family needs this.
Very disappointed that it's not compatible with Pinterest. I bought the full version thinking that was the problem but still says invalid. Great idea though.
Difficult to work through at times. I paid for the Ad Free edition and it's loaded with ads! However, the customer service has been amazing. Good app when out of ideas‼️
This app is so much better than Pinterest for meal planning. My favorite part is the grocery list that is generated from your meal plan! This app is a must for anyone that buys groceries😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
It made meal planning a breeze! I love that it syncs with Pinterest, and that I can have a schedule for meals & it creates a grocery list for me from that meal plan!
UPDATE: I can now search for recipes based on ingredients i have on hand! I bought this app assuming it had all the features the ios version has. It does not. Why launch an app on android when it doesn't have the same features as the ios version? Very frustrating. The android app is pretty much like any other meal planning app.
I installed it but cannot get pinterest to sync..I get an error message Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0 Uninstalled and reinstalled and still wont work...emailed support and heard nothing..very frustrating you cant get any. . help
this app is the best meal planning app I've found. it syncs with my Pinterest board, let's me create a meal plan and then creates a shopping list from that meal plan. saves time and money!
I love thos app. My favorite feature is importing all of the recipes I have saved from Pinterest and making a mealplan from things i might not have otherwise made!
App will not sync with Pinecrest since the first time and it was only a partial sync :( I guess I'll keep searching for a good app.
Becoming more & more disappointed with this app as it fails on different features - no response from developers as yet.
The app won't open. I've been waiting for a long time for android version. Hope it is just a glitch that will be fixed.
It's ok. Having problems saving recipes to already made collections. Other than that I like it.
Great app that helps with meal planning. The shopping list feature is worth the download alone!

I LOVE THIS APP! I rave about it! For someone who needs to follow a recipe but also wants flexibility to base a meal off what ingredients you already have. It has made meal planning so much easier and we haven't eaten out nearly as often in the last few months. Also allows for diet restrictions (vegan, gluten free, etc.) *For those saying its not working. Every now and then if I close out, it will struggle to reopen. But a quick closing of the app fixes that every time. Worth it!*
