That's why StaticBloc set out to recreate it, making improvements where needed. To get started, just go to your homescreen's widget collection, and drag the Favorite Contacts widget wherever you like.
Favorite Contacts Widget Blur gives you a convenient way to access your favorite contacts. You get a beautiful, resizable widget on your homescreen that displays your 4 top favorite contacts. Clicking on the widget will show you the rest of your favorites. Quick and easy access to your favorite contacts in an awesome widget. If you want to see more than your top 4 favorite contacts use our brand new grid widget! It will allow you to scroll through all of your favorite contacts.
Favorite Contacts Widget Blur also makes it really easy to quickly call, text, or email a favorite contact. All by just tapping on the icon for that favorite contact. Want to see more? Click on the contact's large picture, and you'll get a full view of its information.
Your Favorite Contacts will be sorted alphabetically by default, but you have the freedom to reorder them how you please. Just hold down on a contact tile from the main screen, and drag it to the position you want it to be in!
Favorite Contacts Widget Blur also allows you to manage your favorite contacts. Click on the star to add or remove a favorite contact.

I like the app and the feature of the thumbnail for my favorite contacts. Only issue I see is once I click on it it starts to Blink quickly for some reason but it doesn't affect the process of calling the contact
used for years except now on the S22 it squishes the cascade of contacts widget. No idea why, also on a new dezkip with no weather icons still seems to squish it.
It's a satisfactory alternative to that formerly built intro Android 6 on LG. The 1x1 widget is the only properly implemented option. The larger widgets are a tad clunky.
I've been using this app for years. Now my Samsung phone did an update and my contacts widget was off my home screen. Put it back on, now there is a colored bar at the bottom that serves no purpose. Also, I had five in a row, now only 4 fit. What happened?
I like the way it shows 4 of my favorites on my screen for phone calls or for texting but can also get to more of them with one touch. Just what I needed.
It is very convenient especially when u want to find your frequently called contacts quickly. As I just have to touch their pic to make the call
Cant keep it open where I can see contacts all the time. Used to stay open on other phone and just had to touch contact. Now you have to open it then click contact.
Glitches a little sometimes by not showing the contacts but all you have to do is click on the widget and save, they're back up I love it!
Best thing that technology has done for me. I am not a patient person and this is perfect for contacting people that I need to reach at my fingertips, literally!
Makes texting or calling the people I call most frequently , quick and easy.
Makes getting to my favorite contacts easily accessible in a tap or tap tap. No reading through lengthy intstructions 😊 user friendly. I like it!
Good, custom size of different contacts would be nice, to make important ones larger. Maybe multiple widgets on separate home screens.
A great example of what a great app / widget should be. With prompt replies to questions. Hope that the blank contact will be worked on soon. Definitely has a spot on my home page.
You know those small conveniences that are taken for granted until there gone? Just recently bought a new phone and this app was the FIRST one I had to restore. Love this app.
It is a great app! Works as expected. The only weird thing is that sometimes it 'flickers' which hurts my eyes. It usually happens when the phone first comes on.
I first had this a long time ago on my Motorola, and I've added this widget to every phone I've had after. Love it. Easy & practical. Can't live w/o.
Good app 👍 keep it up & I problem found settings option if the disable launch icon & how to open again? & Second issue app icon image missing or logo & if logo or image showing in app for purpose easy to find in play store app thanks 🙏
Loved it until recently. The 4x1 widget disappeared and I cant get it back. It's basically useless to me without that. Admin, please help!
I like the app, but everytime I get to that screen it blinks and flashes for about 15 seconds. Need to get that fixed.
I like the app, it does everything I need it too. I gave 4/5 stars because sometimes when I open it the contact info is blank and I need to close and re-open
Love this Widget!! Plenty of customization and extremely useful. I dedicate one of my home screen pages on all my devices for this widget! Keep it up!
Taping on nothing should be like backing up and the app feels slow and finicky. yet does all i need so i like it even if unpolished.
Larger photos would be very much appreciated. At present even when you expand, the photos are very small
Have used this app for quite it hasn't failed me yet. It keeps my favorite contacts nicely grouped and organized. Would definitely recommend.

Easy enough to use, but haven't figured out how to get one touch dialing of default number.

Would be 5 stars except for sometimes when I open a contact for the first time no contact info shows up. Then I have to close it out and reopen and it works. Wish they would fix that as it's really annoying. Other than that it's a great app!
