SCAM. I signed up for the trial, cancelled before the trial ended, got the typical confirmation from them saying "sorry to see you go" but was charged a few days later. Have been constantly trying to get this fixed but they wont reply to my email. AVOID. AT ALL COSTS.
NEVER RECEIVED my incoming faxes - they faxed me twice!!! (other side even got conf. / as for outgoing tried 1+ cover page really quick but tried 4+cover and it would not send. Took cover off after an hour of trying and it finally went.
Doesn't work. Signed up for the free trial to send a very important document. Despite the app initially telling me it was sent successfully, the receiver never received the document. I attempted 2x. Both times I saw on the app several hours later that it said there was some type of error preventing it from sending. However, it didn't give me any notifications, alerts, emails or ANYTHING to tell me there was a failure. I had to go back open the app AND find out on my own. Uninstalled.
While the app itself is fine, it seems, the general overview and pricing is misleading. The only thing offered free is a seven day free trial. Further, pricing for outbound and inbound are separate. They also only allow for subscriptions and it seems there is no way to pay per fax. If you can, I could not find it. For something done so infrequently these days, this is a highly inconvenient model. I'd even rather pay a full dollar a fax versus the subscriptions for unlimited that seem forced.
I couldn't get the fax machine I wanted to use to work so I downloaded this app. It was difficult to navigate and the pop-up for the free trial came up after every move I tried to make in the app. It somehow ended up signing me up for the trial on two separate email accounts on my phone. The link to cancel subscription takes you to an email to their support that said they can't cancel the subscription via email. I was able to cancel through Google and hope I don't still get charged like others.
I desperately needed to send 1 fax and this app allowed me to do so without leaving my home! I do feel like the price would be rather high had I needed it beyond the free trial. But if I needed a fax service regularly, and if the price were a little better, I would use this app. I especially like that, since the image from my phone would differ from the image the recipient would get, the app showed the result and allowed for lighting adjustments to ensure a clear document was received.
I downloaded this app for fax. I used the 7-day free trial but it couldn't add any document from my phone and just showed "invalid data". When I wanted to unsunscribe, problems happened. It couldn't be easily unsubscribed by just clicking some button. You have to send an email to their support team. But they insisted asking you a screenshot. However, when I tried to add docs, that "invalid data" was just a popup at the bottom. The team didn't give any support and just want to charge you.
Worked great. Sent everything I needed to be sent without issue. Got the confirmation emails s few minutes after. Would recommend, but I had difficulties trying to cancel it before I was charged today. Don't always have time to access my phone other than for work purposes, but once i tried to cancel, it sent me in an endless loop until I exited the app and came to the Play Store. Hopefully don't get charged for not being able to cancel it via the app as I'm still on my last trial day.
This app is a scam. I want to send one document on the free trial, but they're trying to make me activate the subscription twice, which will incur an automatic $170 subscription charge. I read the review another user left about his issue with the app, and I'm entirely sure that this is intentional to make people think they're getting a free trial while instead racking up hundreds of dollars in fees for a service people otherwise wouldn't use often.
Complete garbage. Tried to send a fax, company says they never received it even though it's listed as "sent and delivered". Keeps showing i don't have a fax number, but then on some screens, i do have a number. Trying to cancel my 7 day trial, it's NOT EASY to cancel; you have to email them and they don't answer you. I'm already looking forward to fighting with them to reverse the charges in going to get slammed with because they won't cancel my account in time (3 days left).
I used the app to send a fax during the 7-day trial period and I managed to cancel it during the trial period. Of course, you can't cancel through the actual app - the Cancel Subscription button doesn't actually cancel your subscription. I had to contact their customer service people, only to be told I had to contact Google Play to cancel it. After cancelling and receiving a confirmation email, I will STILL charged $170. This is a racket!
I canceled my subscription during the free trial because it was not working. Never recieved a reply. Then got a bill for 2 subscriptions, totally $189.99!!!!! Contacted the developer about the issue and still have not gotten a reply, but they made sure to take a fortune from my account for an app that didn't even work for the 1 fax I was trying to receive. Want my $189.99 back!
very easy to use. unfortunately I will be ending my service. I only needed one fax. If it was not $99.95/year I might have thought about it. Way too expensive
Told me my fax was sent, then minutes later it WAS NOT sent. Wouldn't resend without new payment method as i used all my "credits" on the fax that did NOT go thru!!! RIDICULOUS! Just looking to get my credit card #.
Once installed. It doesn't allow you to gain access any more to be able to receive or send faxes after the first day installed. Message reads "Loading Fax". Very disappointed. I've decided to cancel the trial and can't because the screen is stuck on loading fax! *update* Had to go to manage subscriptions to cancel.
Very expensive 7 day FREE trial! Unsubscribed hours after installing the app and was charged $169.99. The creator of the app, Google Pay and PayPal have all been contacted and refuse to refund my money. So, now I have this app that I paid $170 for that I can't even use because I unsubscribed from it to avoid getting charged after the free trial. The ONE FAX I sent during that hour of subscription went through well, tho. So, kudos on that.
Super app! Just like using a fax machine. Seemed to work very well, easy to use, & the cover page template was simple but professional. The document I needed to scan/fax was wrinkled up a bit and I was shaky when I took the photo but the app stabilized the scan and every detail was crisp and clear. Overall this app was quick and efficient; a viable replacement for a physical fax machine. I will definitely be using this app instead of ever buying another fax machine for my office.
Signed up for the free trial. I don't send enough faxes to warrant the subscription so I tried to unsubscribe through the app but was redirected each time. So I attempted reached out through email via their "contact us" option and received a "message failed" notification. At this time I have not succeeded in contacting them.
Signed up for free trial to send document to EDD, says sent successfully on the app but the EDD hasn't recieved anything. Also you can't cancel subscription, you can request to have it canceled and even though I put in the request that same day I was still charged 24.99 for a service that it didn't even provide I highly suggest you stay away from this app unless you somehow find comfort in wasting your time and money to accomplish nothing.
I have yet to hear from support other than their generic copy and paste response. They charged my account for a service that doesn't work and I could not use. I have attempted many times to cancel and could not login due to the password. I was never asked to set up a password. I have tried to create a password by doing forgot password. Clicked on the links several times that was sent to my email and was never given the prompt to even change my password!
I think I've tried all the fax apps the play store has to offer and none can compete with this one. No problems. No bugs. No crashes. Smooth and simple. Unlike all the others apps, they offer a free trial that let's you fully experience the app.
Did exactly what i needed. Zero issues. If you need a fax on your phone, no reason this shouldn't be it. Seems like all the negative reviews are people who tried to get something free and cancel early. If you need it for more than one fax and pay for a year, its a great fax app.
Scam! I was allowed to sign up for a 7-Day free trial with my credit card and when I went to send a fax it wouldn't let me send my fax with out paying $23.99 even though my card was excepted for free trial.
This is a scam. I canceled my free trial and got a confirmation cancelation email to prove it but they still went and charge me $179.34 right after I canceled. Please refund my money. This is stealing
Would give 0 stars if I could. Developer still hasn't responded to refund request. My credit card was charged $179.34 & $109 during the free trial period. I sent 2 faxes then canceled the subscription before the 7 day trial ended. It still tries to get payment even though I canceled subscription. Such a scam. This is not even close to worth it. Please heed everyone's warnings and do NOT download or use.
Terrible customer service. I didn't realize there were 2 trials and only canceled one. Upon realizing this the same day I was charged I initiated the refund process through Google Play. I was advised that I would need to get with the Developer for a refund. Upon following up with the Developer, they said I needed to get with Google Play. Basically I am getting the run around. Google has escalated the issue and thus Developer has not replied to any more of my emails. Need resolution!
update: I filed for a fraudulent charge with my bank and they got my money back right away. I was charged for the full price of the app the moment I started the free trial. I then canceled the free trial. And was still charged. The total for the charge was over $180. Tried working with Google and Google would not help me out with a refund. Tried reaching out to the app developer and they had the same response. Seems shady that a developer would not offer a refund to somebody.
This app is a total scam. I can't believe this is allowed on the play store. The description says you can cancel your free trial at anytime AND ITS NOT EVEN TRUE. When you try to cancel it literally just sends and email to their customer support and they NEVER GET BACK TO YOU. 170 dollars spent for 1 fax THAT I COULDN'T EVEN RECIEVE!
