Tbh I only downloaded the free 3 day trial because I don't see myself using this app often but for those in a position of having to fax multiple documents daily/weekly this app is a god-send. The only downside I can think of is the pricing. $13 weekly seems a bit steep considering you can go to alot of stores and fax for 99 cents a page. But like I said if you're one of those whose faxing hundreds of dcmnts a week, and don't own a fax machine or don't work in an office setting, get this app.
After down loading and installing FaxGun, it would not allow me to buy the numer of pages that I needed to fax. Instead it would force me to choose a subscription and assured me of full refund if the faxes didn't get transmitted or I was not happy with the service for 30 days. I have requested a full refund and waiting for a credit of $14.55 on my Master Card. today is May 1, 2022. No faxes went through and I keep getting REJECTION error.
I tried the app under the guise of the "7 day free trial" period. I was immediate charged. I canceled the subscription. I contacted support about the charge. It has been more than typical 5-7 business day period to correct an error and I have not received any response at the time of this review. An app is only as good as what as the service it intends to provide including offers and support.
They say you get 3 days free but then you have to give your payment method. After 3 days you forget to cancel they take the money even if you don't use it.
I'm am so happy that I found this app. I just had surgery and it has been so convenient for me to be able to submit paperwork needed to my physician and disability insurance.
Terrible customer service. I tried to cancel because after many many many attempts, my fax wouldn't go through. I said I wanted to cancel and was told to contact Google Play...this is a scam company that doesn't know what they're doing. RUN! RUN AWAY!!
I was charged $9.99 when they claim you can try the fax and earn ppint watching ads. I sent one fax only which supposedly it would not cost me anything but 3 days later i am charged $9.99. Oh hell no, credit back my account this is not what i was offered or what was promoted. I do not intend to pay almost $10 for one fax after i had to sit there and watch ads to try it out.
Not very happy. First, the $2.99 charge for unlimited faxes for a week was setup as a weekly subscription in my PayPal account. That is a bit deceptive. I disabled it immediately so I do not incur further charges. Second, I have attempted to fax a form to the DMV at least a dozen times, and it never works. Sometimes the status just shows ' uploading' and never finishes. Sometimes the status shows 'out of credit'. Installing this app was a complete waste of time.
Cheap, and super easy to use! I needed to just send a few pages and for $2.99 I got to send unlimited for 7 days. Which allowed me to get everything faxed out that I needed to. You can't beat this. It allows you to take a picture of what you need to send, crop it, and it looks just like you scanned it. Then it sends the fax so fast. Plus it allows you to make your own cover page. Thank you
Needed to Fax a document and oh! No Landline phone to connect my printer to, I mean who still has a landline?? Didn't want to go to the local mailbox place so I looked for an app. Hey! There's an app for that. Downloaded the app, easy to follow directions and it worked. Wasn't too concerned about the speed, faxing has always been slow, but at least it worked.
You upload files and it either crashes, BUT, the biggest problem is if goes to another page in the app, or you close the app, then you go back to the fax you were working on, it does NOT SAVE any uploads you did, you have to start over and over and over- VERY ANNOYING!! SUGGESTION: When uploading files, make sure the app SAVES the information/uploads, even if you or the app closes, you can go back and continue from where you left off, like saving an email to draft for use later... PLEASE FIX
I had tried 2 other apps before to send out a very important fax which I rarely need to use. The first app wouldn't connect to the network and the second one didn't even have a cover page. I wish the cover page on this was a little more flexible because I didn't need to add my phone number but for what I was doing it didn't matter. But this was cheap easy and fast. No complaints.
This team is awesome. I was able to successfully send a fax for free. You get 10 pages free before they ask you to pay. I had a slight issue with the fax being blurry, but when I contacted their help department I got a response immediately. Turns out the fax made it to the person I was sending it to just fine! Thank you guys for delivering exactly what you say you will. I wish more apps were like that! Highly recommended app 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Awesome app that helped me out when I needed it. My only issue is I want to cancel and cant find where to do it at. I just don't need unlimited $14 a week service anymore. Really I only needed for a week when buying a house but have had it for a few weeks now with that payment coming out. I don't mind as it did the trick when needed and was the only one I found that could but its time to cancel that but will keep the app on my phone for that 'Just In Case' moment :)
This app helped me out in a pinch and I was able to send A PDF quickly.. Although the "2.99" was a bit misleading.. That is for a one week trial. I ended up opting for 3.99 for 10 pages..because I dont send a fax often, Ill keep the credits "just in case" future use. Overall..saved me a trip to kinkos..where they would probably charge me $ 2-3 anyway...
Tried the app it says it was delivered but didnt recieve a confirmation status dont know if the fax was realy sent or not. Called the office were i sent the fax they say they havent recieved it.
Great App! Works perfectly. Pay attention the first time using it because different plans are offered to choose from. I only had to fax documents one time. Would be good for someone who needs to fax things on a regular basis. It is very easy to use faxgun. I had to contact in order to cancel my plan. I got a response right away with no problem. Solid app with great support. You can't ask for more than that. Five stars in my opinion.
Best of Fax Apps! There were so many I downloaded before this one. Most all required payment/membership to fax. Since all I needed was one fax sent, I kept looking. This one allows you to complete various surveys/download apps etc, to earn points that allow you to fax what you need. It took me about 10 minutes to accumulate the points I needed for a 3 page fax with cover page. Also, it went through very quickly. There was another app that had a free trial, but after two failed tries, I gave up.
I am extremely likely to recommend FaxGun to others. This app is inexpensive and reliable; also, everyone should follow instructions.
Love this app , once I figured out its specs and how to manage how to use. It's a little slow at times with big documents but worth the money for an annual membership.
Very convenient and useful but I may consider about the subscription payment. I feel comfortable to pay by time to use because I'm not offended use fax.
Great app currently overseas and able to send documents to home USA
No, not 2.99. It's 2.99 PER WEEK. That's $11.96/mo, $155.48/yr. That's not "almost free". That's more expensive than most. The seller rebuffed another reviewer's objection to a very misleading title by saying they are "completely transparent". Slippery. If you don't want customers to think the app is only 2.99, then don't say the app is only 2.99. You have the choice to make the hefty subscription clear in your description. But you don't want to.... A choice that kills our trust. If I see this seller choose to be unambiguously clear up front, I'll change to 5 stars. If the seller attempts another slick reply, it's down to one star. It's how this trickery makes me -- your audience -- feel.
Do you not want people to use this app? I tried over and over to join, but it kept telling me my email was no good, then my password was no good, then I was to click YES to a number you sent, but I couldn't find it anywhere, and every time, I had to redo my fax..... Then there was a problem with my payment several times..... I finally gave up and uninstalled your app.
Very easy to use, worked the first try with a 5 page fax. Now, 6 months later and I still love it!
I only used it to send a fax. It worked great. Very quick and clear. I wish they let me receive 1 page for free to my phone. I don't want to pay just to make sure it works. So the 5 stars are for the sending part of it.i understand it costs to have a private number and the price seems good.
Advertise free fax, but its not. 'Free' means taking surveys and providing PII. Had 398 points, but didn't get credit. I complained many times. Got credit after I posted here. Surveys sometimes appear in a link with pay options but always can be accessed from settings under take short surveys. I was told to delete uninstal and reinstall the app which likely would have deleted any points. Checking statements for charges. They will have problems if any made wo auth. Issue resolved w much work
Easy, fast, reliable, low cost & does EXACTLY what it claims! Look in today's world no one really has a fax machine anymore, nor the time to go to a place that does. This app fixes both problems very quickly & easily. My 69y Mom had to fax 3 pages to 2 different numbers for an upcoming surgery. It was going to be $7+ to fax them. Using this app I did everything from my phone, with unlimited pages (phone #'s don't count, only # of pages) for $2.99! 🤯 Start to finish took less than 10 mins. 5 ⭐'s
The fax was sent without any issues at all. Unlike other apps that I have tried this one did a great job in getting "right to the point" when signing up. There weren't too many questions just to send one fax. It took about 3 minutes to send 15 pages. Recommended.
I needed to urgently fax a few pages to an insurance company, however I did not need a subscription. I found this app and the receiver stated the documents were received. I would recommend. It gives you confirmation. If it were $3.99 per month for casual users, say about 20 or so pages or less a month, I would subscribe because it is a valuable service to have handy.
