FaxReceive - receive fax phone
FaxReceive lets the user that needs to occasionally receive a fax and doesn't want the hassle of owning a fax machine or paying for a fax line month after month do so in a quick and convenient fashion.
For users that want a permanent fax number for business reasons, we offer a one year receive fax option. When renewed, the fax number does not change.
The app let's you receive a fax anywhere you are rather than be tied to receiving a fax at a fixed location. It provides a secure method of receiving faxes
- there is no chance your fax is read while sitting on some unguarded fax machine.
When you are ready to receive your sender's faxed document, FaxReceive lends you a temporary fax number for a period of time. You receive the use of an in-bound number based in the US for a period of time after which the number is no long valid. You provide the fax number to your sender and they fax the document during the time window you've purchased.
Fax transmission is secure so you (and the sender) don't have worry about being unwilling or unable to send to your actual location or the physical security at your fax.
If you need to occasionally received signed legal documents, hand written, hand notated documents or simple send a scan of something then this is the solution.
Temporary fax numbers are all in the US.
FaxReceive does not use your device, minutes or phone number to actually receive the in-bound fax. You must have an internet connection of some kind.
Your fax will be delivered directly to your Android device and will not pass through or be stored in your email account.
Faxes are provided in PDF format so you transfer them to a wide variety of applications. Direct Cloud Print support is provided so print your faxes where and when you want to.

Wish they would go back to per page cost of sending AND receiving but assume paying the extra months for a dedicated block of unused numbers doesn't make sense. Understand it, just don't like it: Why not have one single number US users can use as receiving and then have an OTP generated so it will only go to that user? Meh. Extra star for being functional
Needed to receive a fax with very little notice. Was worried because of mixed reviews. Didn't pay for my hour until I knew they were standing at the machine ready to send it. After 20 minutes, I was starting to worry. Error on senders part and as soon as the receiving # was fixed, received fax within minutes. WHEW!! Will use again, if needed.
I paid for an hour, the lady was on the phone with me until it went through. Ten mins passed, still nothing, I hung up the phone cause I had about 8 more mins before my time ran out. When the time hit 3 mins left, I paid for the 4 hours more, just incase. What a waste of money, I got verification that the other end sent, I just never received, wheres the refund button?
Super convenient service!! Some dinosaur companies still require fax. It's so nice to be able to receive a fax from home and not have a fax machine that just sits there collecting dust. I haven't had a phone line since 2010.
The app works, but I dont like the fact that there is a cap on how many pages you can receive, if I paid for the time I should be able to receive as many pages that I want for that time period and the pricing for extended time is a little much. Thanks but no thanks. Will never use this app again.
Can't tell if it works. My old fax machine stopped working, still recieves calls just wont print. This seemed like a great alternative, but never recieved anything. Tried old fax machine again and recieves call. So why won't this recieve? Also the timer isn't convinient. I rather pay for pages recieved not time waiting to never recieve anything. Messaged support.. they never got back.
Installed the app because I've used their sister app. I bought an hour of time for a very large corporation (Equifax) to fax me sensitive information. Equifax does 1000's of faxes per day but IT WASNT SUCCESSFUL. No help from FaxRecieves support beside its their fault. They would not give me another hour even though they could see that I didn't receive any faxes. TRY ANOTHER APP.
Watch the pricing. Purchased 1 hour so I could pass on phone number thinking I would get fax tomorrow sometime and the time started ticking down. You can't buy time until your your ready to receive fax. Then you have 1 hour to get number coordinate fax and receive up to 10 pages. Extremely expensive and time sensitive. Not a user friendly service. Seems in this age of digital service there would be a better way.
App will not let you use your phone number to receive FAX. Must send to different number which I did not find out until after purchase. This did not work for my purposes as cannot use 3rd party.
got the app and purchased a $4.99 deal for an hour and NEVER GOT THE FAX. ASKED FOR A REFUND AND IT DENIED ME BECAUSE I DIDNT MEET THE REFUND QUALIFICATIONS ?? ITS A JOKE. Throw your $5 into a trash instead of this app- at least a bum could get something from that lol
The app works great for receiving the fax and I didn't have to pay a recurring fee to use it because it allows you to pay for usage by the hour

recieved my fax in a pretty timely fashion. rates are a bit higher than i would like, but it worked in a pinch
Just what I needed. Not free, but why should it be? Way cheaper and easier than getting fax line when I only use it 2x a year.
Tried to receive a fax from IRS. They faxed and waited for me for 20 mins to confirm that I received. She said she didn't get a confirmation on her end nor I received anything. Total waste of money and time and not reliable period. Ended up going to Kinko for a fax. Not happy.
Did not receive my fax. i checked with the sender and they had sent three times. no assistance from help team.
First fax is free after that $4.99 for an hour. A bit expensive but it does what it says...send and receive fax to cell phone
Great experience, kinda pricy but i was in a bind and had no other choice than to pay.

garbage. Waste of time. No free incoming faxes oh, you can't receive any fax for free on this app. Totally misleading. You must pay $5 plus tax minimum to receive any facts on this app. Don't Waste Your Time like I wasted mine.

Totally user friendly and transparent on how to accomplish both send and receive faxes. I'm sending a fax, it allows a detailed informational cover sheet, to which you choose what information is needed. When receiving a fax, you can save it anywhere as well as print it. Would highly recommend this app, whether your office personnel or not.
