Dark backgrounds affect the foreground document, making it illegible. White background is harder to read with for me. Night mode inverts the image colours, and I need this for image-heavy documents. Also, it's slow, choppy, and there are no zoom or scroll type options.
**Worst PDF viewer, Ever.** Night mode is great, but other than that, this app is *EXTREMELY IMPRACTICAL* to use. Zoom level & screen position should stay locked and subsequent tap should change page & preserve settings. Having to zoom in & out, plus recenter the page content for EVERY PAGE TURN (IF the page will even turn without using the navigation menu) renders this plugin virtually unusable. Volume button controls are laughable at best, page turn & crop options are very poorly implemented.
Works ok & can read pdf's, but have been hoping for tts integration for some time now, as my eyesight is not too good these days, & have many books in pdf format. (Converting to epub etc is very hit & miss & makes tts unusable) Bought premium version of reader as future tts integration (for premium) was indicated. ...(Wont be holding breath then! )
Excellent app that I've been using for years, problem-free. Must add that I always disable the Kindle app before installing which might be a solution tip where users are having problems
I don't know whether only the creators/owners can see the 3 questions to which one may answer Yes, Not Sure, or No. I have to admit that I've NEVER answered all 3 with the "Not Sure" answer before. But because the ENTIRE FBReader app with every plugin I could find (4 or 5, I think) ALL CRASHED! I followed the suggestions, reinstalled, uninstalled ALL, then REINSTALL ALL. No. Nothing. Nada. Bupkes. Zilch. I guess what I am trying to say is that I got NOTHING, even trying every option available!
Great viewer. Fast. Open source. Personally like Pocketbook but it's not free (Free as is a Freedom/FLOSS) and that's becoming more and more of a problem. Great work to all involved in this application and being part of the FLOSS community.
Thank you for creating an easy application to use like this application. I can read the books from my smartphone easily. I am very happy to use it. Hopefully you as a developer can produce even better works in the future.
we have decided to give it a Star *. at least it's an app. though we are not satisfied with the performance, you must download bits an peicesof more other helper app's . suggestions in : lack of time in duty as the clock turns round an round. seconds are minutes and minutes are now hours and a weeks work is a days pay.
Awesome, but can I please have the plugin remember the last reading position on the page? It always jumps to the top left of the PDF when I reopen the app. Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. Thanks!
I'm using the permium version and it's really awesome. But there is just one problem, for Arabic or Persian books; page orders should be right to left, not left to right. Thank you!
It's ok-ok. Not updated till mid of 2017 though RadaeePDF updated in August, 2018. Looks like Developers don't want to carry with this plugin!
Good to have a reader, but this is clunky and the library function is an add-on of dubious benefit.
Won't open a perfectly fine PDF. Tried to open that with other apps and they opened the file perfectly.
It's nice that you can use FBReader to open PDFs with this. Though you cannot use TTS from them like other formats.
So here's the thing: new fbreader requires a pdf plugin because the one there is is "obsolete" ,well the one that I'm currently reviewing is the only available and it doesn't work with the fbreader. So people, what is going on? I need this plugin to work, and yet it cannot!
Pages can't be turn over when zoom != 100%. Please fix, it's annoying.

Very poor and useless , deceitful app.... When you download it will not show in your phone and your time and effort will just be wasted ,....which is wrong ....the app developers should work on perfectly building the app not just focusing on making money .... which is wrong ......and bad and not good for the reputation of the company....... .. .......... Opening a pdf suddenly whined about a newer plugin needed, 2.3 or so, but I already have the latest version
Horrible! Most of the pdfs request you to install plugin which is nowhere to be found on Playstore.
It says this is outdated version that i need the new Fbreader plugin 3.0. However i cant find it anywhere!!😫
Sometimes crashes but otherwise works well and does the job.

FBReader has always been my go-to Ebook reader. The PDF plugin makes it perfect! I do a lot of personal research & alot of it is pdf files. Now, I don't have to have 2 or 3 apps for this. Trying to move back & forth between such apps on my phone is a pain. Now I don't have to. I Love this Plugin!
