I have a Moto E7 Android phone and the app does not work. By default the age is set to 18 instead of 21 so it has not been updated since the new federal laws. Also if you attempt to manually enter a birth date the app will not save it and instead spit out that the person is 0 years old.
The app needs to be updated to be used on Tablets. Customers do not want the retail employees scanning their ID with the employees personal phone. Also business do not want employees using their personal phone. Employees don't even want to use their personal phone for work purposes. Update the app to be used on Tablets with a wifi connection.
Camera scan does not function. Will act like it is scanning but goes to home screen. Lacks performance.
Doesn't work at all! It won't scan IDs and the manual calculator won't set the birthday. The whole app is useless!
works fine for me. if only there was a way to determine if the ID is fake or not. i deal with so many college kids with fake IDs that scan, it's kinda rediculous.
I use this to determine people's age when they can only give me their birthdate. Sometimes during emergencies they don't know their age and I have to put it on their paperwork.
You think FDA Will have a better operating and better UI app. Scanning is a hit miss game. You cannot depend on this app to check IDs. Unfortunately.
Nice, when it works. Hard to get it to scan. Customers get annoyed waiting while the app is maybe going to scan
Scanner does not work. Uninstalled it. Would be great if it did work beings that i work in a bar.
Worked perfectly on my OnePlus 6. Doesn't work at all on the OnePlus 7T Pro.

apps good for me everything works from scanning to caculating im glad i looked this up.
works but would be nice to use front camera so I can just hold there ID over my phone instead of having to hold phone and id

The camera portion flat out doesn't work edit, almost half a year later, the camera STILL does not work and I've never seen the app update once. So all that's left is the actual calculator portion, which I don't need, I'm not a moron, I can do basic math, thanks. I NEED a scanner in order to check for fake ID's or make the process of checking out customers quicker
It won't let me use the camera part, Essential PH-1 & I watched my boss use his. All permission is on, restarted, all that. Perfect idea, imperfect execution! Please fix as I need this at my job!
Scans card then goes to scan screen again. No information at all. Samsung Galaxy S7.
If it worked all of the time it would be a great tool. Unfortunately getting the app to actually scan an ID is an almost complete failure. Nine out of ten times it just won't scan the ID. All scanned ID's have been FL drivers license so far. Its just faster to locate the persons DOB on their ID and read it than to wait and see if the app is going to scan or just sit there.
