app hasn't been updated in years. not worth the money. would be great if it could sync with the android calendar and if you could put in your own custom schedule entries.
This app worked well for a long time,recently having issues with it closing on its own when trying to access certain features sent 3 emails which they have ignore so don't expect a response when you have problems they don't respond
Great and useful app. it would also be great if you can add the A B C D chart schedule too for light duty guys.
this app is not worth buying unless it is updated, it has been years!
I have had this app for 4 years now and that's only because it's the only widely used one on the market. Nothing ever gets updated. Issues I had when I first downloaded it still persist to this day. The iPhone version is way better than the Android version (which I have). And also the 4 x 4 widget still does not function the correct way.
Screw this POS. Get the FREE app "FDNY calendar Fire & EMS" Barasch McGarry sponsors the developer now so there are regular improvements to it. There has been ZERO development on this app in the over 4 YEARS. FDNY units are missing from the Stations list (e.g. B28). The creator of this app (in Arizona) has zero incentive to update this after you've paid for it. You can probably hire some Indian programmer from FIVERR to do a better job.
This app is like a barely functioning alcoholic when compared to the iPhone app. I just came to android less than a week ago and am seriously considering switching back. Sad fact is I love the phone. This app is a deal breaker though. If the developer would do something about it I'm sure those of us with Droids would greatly appreciate it. As of now this app isn't even worth it if it were free... I'd pay double for the iPhone one.
Really lacking in features. Overtime should be calculated in hours, not tours. Adding pay periods would also be helpful to figure out when you would be getting paid for the overtime you work. It's fine if you just want to know when you have to come to work. Otherwise, don't bother.
I emailed the creators and asked for a fix which I was promised would be arriving soon... That was over a year ago. This apps widgets don't work with newer, bigger screens. Putting in events is almost unbearable to do, as is just about everything dealing with this app. I'd very quickly take a refund for this junk.
This app is great, but can be even better of it was more like the iPhone version and its features such as overtime tally per check.
Not nearly as good as the iPhone app, and i don't understand why. Can't edit an event once created. It was good for awhile, and that was a long time ago. No updates and it doesn't work with Samsung tablets.
This app falls short in many areas. With a few updates, it can be really good but I don't think the developer cares.
Im guessing android users arent worthy of all the features iphone users possess. Downloaded this app 5 yrs ago and still waiting for all the features iphone users have.
I don't understand why this app can not be like the one on the iPhone. The apple one has so many extras and is the best FDNY APP!!!! It'll be great if you guys can fix it just like the apple one. Other than that you guys are doing a great job. Keep it up boys
Great app, easiest thing to use and edit. Hands down more straight forward than the iOS app.
The widget no longer works on my s5. I also feel that the apple app is much better in the sense of more things you can do with the app.
Maybe add the option to show which tours your in groups so you can find out your hostage tours etc.
Works alright as our basic calendar but is next to impossible to restore when moving to a new phone.
Completely out-dated and needs alot more flexablity. Was a good app, but without updates its useless!
Great app... Better than the iphone version... My only complaint is having to put in each rsot at once.
To transfer to phone with no SD card, (old phone) save to SD. Share via WiFi direct. (New phone) restore from SD. Browse to (downloaded) files "FdnyBackup.txt" hit restore. Took me about 2 min to transfer. Thank God. These guys have apparently stopped support

UPDATE APP!! I FEEL LIKE THE CREATORS OF THIS APP DID THE MINIMAL. IS UPDATING THAT HARD TO DO AS AN APP DEVELOPER. WHY COULDN'T THE APP BE MADE LIKE THE APPLES VERSION. AND THAT ONE NEEDS AN UPDATE TOO!!
I'm trying to restore my app on a new phone. And There is no option to sign up/ backup your Calendar. On the Note 8 . Why is the iPhone app better then the android app??
I wish I could sync it with my personal calendar so everything could be linked. That is really the only complaint I have. This app is very outdated and needs to get updated. You made a good product and then just quit. Stick with it and continuously make it better.
