FDOT Toll Calculator

The FDOT Toll Calculator provides toll rates for Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise maintained toll roads. Toll rates are displayed in multiple formats, including a list mode and a map mode. Furthermore, the calculator provides a total toll cost for a trip based on a specific start and end point entered by the user.
The Turnpike maintains many of the toll roads in Florida. To assist users in finding a specific toll road, the FDOT Toll Calculator is divided into geographic regions. Within each region, the Turnpike toll roads are listed or displayed individually.

The FDOT Toll Calculator provides flexibility to users on how the tolls are displayed. For example, on the home screen users can set their number of axles and preferred payment method. Therefore, tolls displayed within the app will always be customized to the user.

For additional information on how the FDOT Toll Calculator works, Turnpike toll roads, vehicle type descriptions, payment methods, and Turnpike service plazas please select About from the main menu.

PLEASE DON’T DRIVE DISTRACTED. Please do not attempt to use the FDOT Toll Calculator mobile app while driving. Plan your trip ahead, or wait for a rest stop to access this app.

Data is horribly incomplete. S. Florida alone is missing miles of tolls on 874, 878, 836! Whoever wrote this app needs to be replaced with someone who can read a map! Worthless app.

While I'm sure the information is accurate, I spent close to 6 minutes just trying to figure out what facility to select for each area based on the tolls I was expecting to see for a weekend trip. In the end, I gave up and uninstalled this mess. Still looking for an app that can operate like Google maps and tell me the tolls I will encounter on the route I've selected. Terrifying how that appears to be so much to ask.

It's OK. Difficult and clunky to use but you can find what you need. Would be much simpler and make more sense if it would let you put a start and end address, show you possible routes and the tolls on that route.

This is almost useless. It does tell you what the tolls cost, but it's not easy to use at all.

Very hard to use, especially for an out of towner. You have to pick where you get off and on at by region. This is by far the WORST toll road app out there.

The SR 408 toll rates are not listed - useless as this is the main artery going east/west in Orlando

The most complicated system I have ever seen, how do you expect someone from out of state to figure out your regions, make it simple start here end there, try using city names or road junctions

Missing the entire section of 417 South of Aloma to past 528.

Dont waste your time with this

I've read the reviews on here and immediately I can tell that this app isnts as user friendly. You would need to add more features which allows users better know how to navigate through the app. I think starting with address entries would be best to help users, as they would rather punch in a start and end to know what exact amount would be, than having a bunch of exits and zones that would confuse people. Incorrect, deceptive, not the best reference. It looks like the designers were creating the app for their own personal use and not the public. Why can't the app lists the ramps/exits (NB/SB) so the motorists can pick their starting and exit points themselves by inputting their addresses? Not good at all....Grrr!

Not sure what all the fuss is about, put in my start point and end point and it gave me the fare. Not the prettiest app but it works as described.

The multiple roadway names and need to move from one to another within the calculator make this very frustrating. There is no way to get a total toll calculated from the 429, West of Orlando to the south end of the Florida Turnpike, going to the Keys. I gave up trying when I couldn't get through Orlando without calculating three different zones/roadways with no way to merge the tolls into a total toll for the trip... I hadn't even gotten onto the Turnpike zone!!!

As usual the latest update screwed a perfectly working app up. Please get the road integration ability working asap!

App is missing selmon expressway. It's hard to navigate and bit very user friendly.

Evi. P. May 14, 2016

Unfortunately the app only allows selection of a single road on a specifically defined geographic area. If your trip takes you to multiple toll roads and/or beyond an area, you would need to manually change each road and area and basically do your own calculation. The app description also mentions the ability to select start and end point, but the start/end points available to select are the actual tolls. Overall not very useful.

Another example of big bloated bureaucracy and design by committee of government leeches! This "App" is COMPLETELY unusable. A snapshot of our broken Sunpass management. I'm sure that in their minds it's a divinely perfect creation. It's a broken worthless mess. Those of us who use the toll system already know the rates we incur. Travelers: Welcome to our nightmare. Don't waste your time or bandwidth.

If the app would be updated to where the user can actually see the map and pick the toll booth it would be much better. Most of us are out of town we don't know the name of each both.

App just for locals to drive within region between liquor store and gas station . How to get from Miami to Gainesville ????

Can not calculate trip

Joh. R. Sep 1, 2016

For people who don't live in Florida year-round, this app is utterly worthless. Even for residents of Florida I can't tell how they would be able to get any usable information on total cost of tolls for a trip on different roadways.

Kry. D. Sep 21, 2017

This app was extremely unhelpful. You can't choose an endpoint outside of the region you started in. If you can, then this app is poorly designed. Major fixes needed.

removed from my tablet within 5 minutes. Was hoping it would be better than the website version, boy was I wrong! Do not waste you time with it

Only shows short portion of road tolls needed

Aja. Y. t. q. h. Aug 20, 2016

Simple and accurate. Does the job. It is not a GPS. Does not combine two roads.
