Cameras work great on pc dvr program, but... when I open the app, the cams show up. When I select a cam in the app, it opens, but if I try to move their position, the screen goes blank, and I have to close and reopen to view. I have been going back and forth with their "support" team for weeks, and it's a giant waste of time!

The hardware if fine, the App just does not work. Initially it worked then it losses the camera configuration and need to scan and enter camera config. every time want to open the app. Then the App stop working completely it just shuts down as soon as you try to open it. Customer service is not real they don't know the product. Don't bother

Can you please fix the bug that this app is losing its configuration? After setting up the cameras and using the app two or three times, all the configuration is gone and I need to reinstall the cameras from scratch. This is really annoying and I have already done more than 20 times. Now this is enough. The camera hardware is good but this app makes it unusable.

got cameras to work and can see what I need. wont record onto my phone. only sends you notifications from motion detection when you are on the screen look at it. wont notify you when something moves if you dont have the app up. what's the point of motion detection if you cant get notice when your not looking at it? good Camera terrible app and technology!!!

Update from FDT: Trying to fix servers ASAP Anyone else having issues with their cameras connecting? They show but access them nor add a camera even if it shows online.. Update: I am a bit nerdy so I figured out what it was. All out camera data was sent to a network that would forward to our phones so you will see them. We'll the link that the cameras used is no longer available. you will still record and have access within the wifi network.

One if the worst apps I've had to use. Crashes upon opening 99% of the time. takes at least 10 attempts for it to actually open. Then, once it's open, it crashes 50% of the time. Frustrating as all hell!!

I don't get movement alerts anymore when I talk to ppl they say they can't understand anymore. Maybe it's time to get a different camera but these did cost a bit and I don't want to invest in a different system if you all can fix the bugs in this one.

As I read the recent reviews I noticed my cameras were't the only ones affected by a sudden broadband shut down. It has been more than a week since my cameras stopped giving me access to remote viewing. I've tried everything, and nothing seems to work.

I have been like all the many reviews before me.... discouraged, aggravated, impatient with FDT app. Worked before & not now. Like all the others, took camera down reinstalled with no success! It will not connect to internet. To reach Customer Service is a lost cause.

This app never crashed until they fixed it. Now it's nearly impossible to open without it crashing and closing 12 to 15 times before it will open and run. FIX IT ALREADY!!!!

100% not working. I have used this app and the FDT cameras flawlessly for over 10 years now. As of 6/20/2021 all 4 of my cameras say "connecting" and cannot be viewed thru the app. I can only assume that the company who hosted the servers finally shut them down, since the FDT cameras are getting harder and harder to find to purchase. I think they may have just become obsolete. I seriously hope not, but as of right now they are. 😢

I love this app when it works but it is usually hard to get it to run. I have to clear any open apps and free up memory but even then it may take a half dozen tries to get it to run.

When this works...it's great. However, when the app crashes more often than it works and you have to try to open it DOZENS OF TIMES (or give up trying) before it opens, it loses value quickly. We use it to keep an eye on my elderly mother-in-law when we're not able to be home or have someone here for her and it is imperative that it work. I wish it did 🙄

I just noticed the new update after I read the recent reviews about cams working now. Works for me too. Thats great! Too bad it didnt fix the cam that the wifi went out on. 2nd FDT cam that wifi went out on. Is that a normal thing? I have to keep it plugged into the router. Threw the other one away.

Update has fixed the problem, thank you so much!! Worked great until recent update. Now can only view cameras when I'm on the same wifi account. Can no longer view when I leave property altogether. Please fix!

Last update on July 11, 2018 makes the app useless. Somebody at FDT needs to wake up! FIX THE APP! UPDATE: It only took them from July 2018 until October 2019, but they finally fixed the app! Hooray! But I am only giving 3 stars now because they made us wait for well over 1 year before they finally fixed their bad app!

The app used to be more reliable. Now it crashed most of the time when trying to open. Have to keep trying a dozen times to open it up often time. I wouldnt recommend them.

Hasn't worked for remote access for a month. FDT claims it's due to a server upgrade. Nonsense, that doesn't take a month. Not having remote access defeats the purpose of buying their IP cameras.

Terrible APP please, Please, PLEASE fix this APP the cameras are phenomenal, but this APP is Garbage...opens and closes instantly...ive invested a lot of money on these cameras and when the APP is working properly (10-15 percent of the time) I love it...but its so frustrating when you cant get APP to open...5*'s on Cameras...1* on APP....get a tech guy on this ASAP please!!!!!!!!

We are having the same issue as Jorge. Cameras used to work l great. Just recently won't connect or nit able to add camera. What I'd wrong with this app. Please fix. Liv we d the Cameras before. Help us support.

Same problem as everyone else, the only way i could make them run again was using mi no-ip address acount, creating new hosts, and im using a different app, since then there working perfect.

Had my cameras 5 yrs never a problem. Now like everyone else the app not working. I have 720 my friend has fdt 1080 and app works for camera. I have been sending emails to fdt which is now AMCREST DAILY!!!!!! WE NEED TO FLOOD THEM WITH REQUESTS TO FIX THIS!!!

Alert email forwarding is now failing. All email setup is the same as before, fails. Tried all ports, 587, 25, 485, 2525, STARTTLS, SSL, TLS, NONE, AUTHENTICATION...none work on any of my 4 cameras. Push works fine. Fix this FDT !

The app started working right after my phone updated. Must have just gotten it fixed because I had an update before which didn't fix it. Try updating your phone to see if that helps.

CONSTANTLY WON'T OPEN AND IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE UPDATE AND FIX ASAP. We bought the cameras to check on elderly animals, a person who is disabled, and the kids. This is utterly USELESS now most of the time. RETURN YOUR CAMERAS AND PURCHASE ANOTHER BRAND!
