Feed Notifier

Feed Notifier is a simple,highly customizable and an intuitive notifier for unread articles in popular RSS reader
- Feedly (https://cloud.feedly.com).
Since the current feedly android application does not support notifications, I decided to write one myself.

This app allows you to granularly configure the notification for the unread articles. This configuration can be done both at the category level or even at the Feed level.

Features of this app:

* Configure minimum unread feeds at feed or category level after which you want notification
* Dashclock Extension
* Widget

Please send me an email if you have any suggestions or any features you would like to incorporate.

Looks like it's broken. On install I get a screen with a cloud that says "feedly is currently unavailable. We're working to fix the problem. Thanks for your patience!" By the way, for others' complaints about OAuth problems (Can't login via Google/Twitter/etc), you'll need to login to Feedly on the site, go to Settings > Logins and add a login just for Feedly. Unfortunately it looks like I can't even get that far.

Great app and thanks for doing something feedly should be, but it seems like when you change your theme to light you can't view your selection of thing you want to notify. The settings are fine on either light or dark, its only the page you see first when you start the app that's weird, when you set it to light mode, the screen is totally black I can't see anything at all, but I can still tick the boxes and choose how many unread notifications there must be. The sliders are also a bit buggy

Not very reliable at all I am afraid I'm a contractor and it very often fails to notify me of contracts recruiters have posted.

Interface is nice, however I can no longer login. I use Google to login which now gives me an error.

I dont know why, but this doesn't seem to work at all. I get no notifications whatsoever. I'm almost about to switch to a different RSS feeder cause I am constantly missing all the RSS updates.

Definitely something feedly should have included by default. Widget world great. Very nice simple app.

Where is this essential feature to what is pretty much a notification app?

Hey, I wanted to say thanks for making this app. There really should be built-in notifications for Feedly, but I'm glad somebody stepped up and made something just as good, because I never could. It's not pretty, but it doesn't need to be. Great job. The only issue I've noticed is that the sound for the notification doesn't seem to play, but that's a minor detail.

Fills a big gap in the feedly app. As others have mentioned, a more frequent update option would be appreciated.

I couldn't believe that Feedly made an android app without notifications. This app is awesome. Thank you.

Thank you, just what I was looking for. You should make it so there's an option to set the sync interval to less than an hour, to one minute for us RSS addicts, or at least an option to manually enter a different refresh rate than what's offered. I would have given it 5 stars if there was such an option.

It would be great if you added sync every 30 mins or even 15 mins (:
