I have not found how to add a category to the channel which is already defined. I have not found how to create category when not adding a channel. First screen after instalation is confusing. Auto-play of text is in english, what causes nonsense audio, when reading articles in another languages. Theme Follow system does not work (all another apps work OK in this aspect), but Dynamic Theme looks to be acceptable alternative solution (although it means one more place where to change hours during a year). But the main functions and basic organisation of the app is OK.

Does absolutely nothing but present me with links to other services. I don't need a service. I don't need an external account. I have a URL that produces an RSS feed, and this app seems somehow incapable of handling that basic use case.

Do NOT download. Find another alternative. Idk where to ask for help. Only favicons load and it is so ugly. No image thumbnail AT ALL. I really want to like this app but Idk where to find this VERY SIMPLE settings. Too many uneccessary options.

I can't figure this thing out. Opening the app gives me a list of things to sign into. I just want to add a feed, my email is already full enough of spam.

I love this app when it works, but too often the developer breaks stuff (regression bugs). Now the app is removing the unread flag at its whim, Instead of honoring the users setting for each article.

The best RSS reader on Android currently that isn't tied to a specific cloud service. Fast, very customisable and currently free, so hats off to the developer for keeping it so. It would be absolutely perfect if 1) the amount of articles to sync was extended beyond 10k - FocusReader syncs considerably more, ideally it would sync ALL unread articles even if this sync takes a while 2) the sort by newest / oldest for all articles doesn't seem to work or at least it only seems to apply to the 10k articles synced, rather than bringing back the newest or oldest 10k articles in the entire account (this is important as many RSS cloud services are now capping their article histories to 1 month, so a way to review the oldest articles would be great and 3) some articles appear twice or more in the all articles view - seems to be a bug.

Choppy scrolling. After feed refreshes trying to scroll down the list of cards it keeps jumping backwards making it unusable. You scroll down it jump back to where it was.

The UX is a bit awkward, but it works well. I wish more testing was done on the english translation. Some menus doesn't fit very well on the screen while huge margins are used in pop-ups, wasting the space. In general its very good. I think the most annoying thing for me is the contrast between read and unread items, specially in dark themes. Its just too subtle. Probably an easy fix too! I can't wait to see where this goes.

Excellent. It can fetch web version of the full news coverage, which was lacking in feedly , that's why i switched to it. Also recommended this app to many of my friends and colleagues. Thanks to dev for such a great , small but powerful app . Update : images can't be loaded inside the post , I have checked every option in settings , at the menu at right upper corner it says "blocking images" but can't turn this off. Help!

while it doesn't have the advanced search features of the official inoreader app, the offline mode is much easier to set up and does not require setting up each category independently. and being able to use a simple swiping direction to share directly to the pocket app (not the web api) makes it easier to save things for later when I'm not online without the extra steps involved in using the 'share' menu.

Is fine, has some UI warts. The biggest thing is that there is no easy way to open feeds in the internal browser. You can have shortcut buttons but there is no way to add a button to open in the browser, nor is there a way to automatically open certain feeds in the browser. Lastly, it doesn't support some browsers. I use Brave primarily, and there is no visible way to open pages in it. Feeds works mostly like you think it would. I can't speak to podcast functionality however.

Thank you. Working very well for me as a replacement for gReader/News+ with Inoreader. Minor requests: 1. Use full-width display when in split-screen mode. The app gets narrow at the moment (Samsung S9). 2. "Keep unread" should keep an item on the device even if the remote service stops including it in the feed. Kept items now disappear after 30 days when Inoreader stops including them in its feed.

I've been searching for years for an RSS reader as good as gReader Pro which was not only abandoned years ago, but has disappeared from the Play Store. Sadly, RSS readers haven't been a hot commodity for a long time which is sad since there is no better way of collecting information and laying it out for the user. I came upon FeedMe and was hesitant because of the note that there were IAP's inside, but gave it a go. The good: It's pretty beautiful, it all runs smoothly, it's updated regularly by a developer who seems to care about it, the Feedly integration process is wonderfully graceful, and the integrations are very well done. The areas of growth: the internal browser could use some work and the (English) settings are unclear and it's hard to know what any of them mean. Overall, this is it - the best RSS reader still being actively developed for Android. As near as I can tell, the IAP's are just an option to donate. I'd prefer if there was just a pro version to buy (and I certainly would). Keep up the great work - it's an outstanding app and the #1 most used thing on my phone.

This app is cool, with beautiful features, customization, and several theme to choose from. I don't like the fact that the app doesn't use the costume font I set for my phone, i mean the font of every other app in my phone changed except FeedMe. Worse still I downloaded the font file for the FeedMe app but it doesn't work with the app. Please fix this issue, thank you!

I 've been switched from iPhone which using the app, Newsify. But it's available to iPhone only. After get onto Android, I've tried many different RSS reader replacement and finally get this. I can say this app is incredible, even better then Newsify. Hope this app can maintain well and more importantly stable (no features i find missing, it already fullfill all my requirements)

I've been an RSS reader since the early Google Reader days, used several apps over the years. The one I had been using started crashing a lot so I went on the hunt for a new one. Feedme is hands down the best I've tried yet! So many options to get your feed just the way you want it, and everything works great!

Update: the developers respond very promptly to issues with easy fixes - thanks! This really is a great app if you read RSS feeds on a tablet. I use InoReader aggregator, but their app isn't customizable and seems to be made mostly for phones. FeedMe makes anticles easier to read and allows offline reading. Old: was a great app... allowed me to read my Inoreader account offline. Then one day, it just stopped syncing. Tried everything.

Dav. M. Oct 4, 2018

Recent problems with it resurfacing already read articles. Other than that it just does what it does conveniently and effectively. Nothing great. Nothing mind blowing. It just does. Would rate 3.5 if it wasn't for the current problems.

Nice app, closest thing I've found to GReader in its appearance and function, which I love. The settings are a bit confusing though, and syncing is hella slow! I wonder why other apps sync the same content in seconds and it takes this one several minutes to do the same?

Jos. F. Dec 23, 2021

The best Free RSS Reader! I've tried other's like Feedly and some that make you pay for basic feature's like being able to search for specific thing's your interested in and to get rid of Ad's. I'm glad this app doesn't have any Ad's and I'm glad this app let's me Search for whatever I want without having to pay a Monthly Fee. You do have to add your own Source's but to make it easier just use the Feedly app to add your Source's then just delete the Feedly app and use this app it's much better!

Chr. C. Dec 9, 2018

No images in feeds. It's the most feature-rich feed reader I've ever used. It works amazingly. But I cannot get any images to load in any of my feeds and it drives me nuts. I tried to changing all the settings.

Jor. A. S. Jul 21, 2020

Really great first impression. Looks simple but full of useful features and very customizable. I've had a hard time finding a good RSS reader and it seems I finally found it. If I enjoy using it the next days the devs can expect some money going their way. Really great job.

Sorry really like the idea and service type but there's issues with: accessing Read content(it disappear and can't be redownloaded), finding/download precise content(1 podcast of a subscription, or 1 article), playing content(only work when added to play list), managing read and unread, playing podcast in background(app stop by it self), content from a feed uses tittle from other feed(error where it plays the wrong content).

Ash. G. Sep 26, 2021

It's a great mobile companion to my freshrss installation. However sometimes it does not sync unless done manually. It also takes a long time to sync compared to other apps (FocusReader). Pls fix that.

Eri. S. Jan 14, 2021

This is, FOR SURE, the best app as rss reader. And this isn't for techy and nerds people, noup, it's SUPER INTUITIVE, hey, I didn't even have to look for the rss code, I just wrote the web site's name, and there you go, added! Also, you can configure in no time to download a lot of offline content, so you will never be outdated from your favorites pages.

There are problems of sync via Feedly on different devices. I mark all read in phone and sync, then I sync in tablet and still I can see open articles although they were read and a synced to Feedly (were they really?) For now it's an obvious deal breaker

Pra. S. May 28, 2019

It would be great if an icon on the article could indicate if it has been downloaded or not. Also, a setting to remove duplicate feeds would be a great feature. Else, this is an amazing app.

Car. L. Feb 22, 2021

Using freshrss, Still having the issue where articles marked read from the web are not being marked read on feedme. Once new articles come in and are unread then feedme considers the old ones read and the new unread. Don't think it's a freshrss issue as I'm not having this problem with readably. If I mark an article read on the web and open readably, it's marked read after the sync is complete as expected.
