I was under the impression that it would allow me to change the default alarm tone. It doesn't. I paid for premium to find out as you have to pay for premium to see the "advanced features.' This seems to be something many people want, but no app provides. I don't need to copy custom ringtones to my phone there are easier and free apps for that. This app does seem to allow you certain options for your watch that would be normally unavailable but nothing to change the default alarm tone.
Brilliant app that works really well, being able to assign custom sounds & vibrations on a per app basis is a godsend. Took all of 10 minutes to decide to buy. Only improvements I'd like to see is support for dark mode in the phone app, and a backup feature after spending around 30mins settings up. But overall, really well done. Thanks
I mean it's just what you want. You can customize to 1-3 short vibrations or 1-3 long vibrations per app. It's fantastic, I don't even have to look at my watch because I can tell whose trying to contact me. EDIT AFTER 2 YEARS: I still use this app but I've found that after about a week it glitches out and gives you a standard notification buzz, then the programmed buzz depending on the app. A simple uninstall and reinstall fixes that though.
The app does what it says very well and for the most part I had no issue with it. However, there appears to be an issue when notifications from ignored apps via the Wear app still gets picked up by Feel The Wear which results in unwanted vibrations. A suggested solution is to turn off notification access once you have to put vibration settings the way you want it and it'll prevent this from happening for said ignored apps.
This app is really awesome, I use it to be on top of calendar notifications! Except one really annoying problem: The notification tone and Text-to-speech start exactly together, so half of speech is lost in the tone. Speech really has to delayed by a few seconds until the notification tone is complete. 1 star minus for it.
Takes a little getting used to navigate, but then works exactly how I like it. On my phone, I have custom rigntones per person for phone calls and text messages. Now it doesn't copy the phone settings, which it shouldn't, but allows all those wonderful custom sounds to place on my watch.
I really like this app. it is super customizable and relatively easy to use. The only annoyance is that you have to preview sounds in a sound menu ans not qhen your choosong the notification sound. alao trying to figure out a simple wat to toggle vibrate, sound and DND from my watch. Overall it gets th job done and is flexible but sometimes can be a bit complex.
I love the IDEA of this app and desperately wish it was more reliable. However, the custom notifications I set up almost never happen when the actual notification hits the watch. Instead, I'll get the standard WearOS notification on my Ticwatch Pro 3, deal with and dismiss the notification, and then get the custom Feel the Wear alert up to 20 minutes later! Seriously 10-20 minutes after getting (and responding to) a text, my watch will ding for no apparent reason. It's super disappointing!
Pretty easy to use and understand, adds some awesome custom settings I didn't know I needed! Although I do wish there was a "global notifications sound" setting kind of like there is for ringtone instead of going through and manually changing each notification to the sound you want. if I want to do that I still could if I want to make one type of notification stick out more then another. Otherwise this app is amazing and I thank you for making it! ❤️
Not in the least good. Although the watch does make sounds when, eg, an email or a message arrives, the sound is anything up to five minutes behind the vibration. Occasionally the watch makes an apparently random jingle for no apparent reason. To be of any use I think the sound should accompany the vibration
This was an amazing app, but I had to reset my watch to connect to a new phone today, and the companion app for 2.0 isn't available on the app store on the watch anymore since Google removed support for the legacy method in March 2021. It doesn't work without it, so the app is now useless. And because the watch component isn't included in the phone app, you can't sideload it with Wear Installer either.
it used to be that i can use this on my Sony smartwatch 3. But when all support for that watch stopped i was forced to get a new watch. new i have the fossil Carlyle hr and can't use this app at all. when trying to install the wear component I'm greeted with a depressing message that my device isn't supported. that's funny, it's a WearOS watch so i don't see any excuse. 1 star until it is
Doesn't work on Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and doesn't appear to work with Wear OS3. I see the app hasn't been updated since 2017 so it doesn't look it will be updated. Contacted the developer but didn't get a reply, hence 1* review. It's a shame, as I've been using for some time and I have paid and supported is development.
This app is good, but lacking instructions for those of us that are not techies. I cannot get sounds to work on my watch although the vibration options are perfect. I have contacted tbe developer and will update this when they reply. (Premium version, Huewei Classic running on latest os).
Once I worked it out and got my head around how it works, it now working Great, to make a custom ringtone work I had to apply it to the callui.app in the app list and then set the watch ringtone to none. Once you find the correct apps to apply the custom ringtone to in the app list they seem to work perfectly although I found that setting a custom ringtone for the built-in phone call option didn't work not consistently anyway and then just didn't. Now that problem with the callui.app Is sorted it works great
Like others have said, the app will no longer work or install on the latest Wear OS. TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. The app was working fine with my watch until just today when I had to reset my phone for unrelated issues. After I re-paired my watch to the phone, the app would not install on the watch. I paid for this app. Please update it.
This app worked fine until it stopped completely after a factory reset of my TicWatch Pro 3 GPS. Not sure what the deal is, but not looking forward to figuring out a workaround.
0 stars. Custom ring patterns do not last for the duration of the ring. It starts out that way but changes back to default after call info loads on the watch. Emailed developter to troubleshoot and it has been way over a month and no response. Have started process for refund.
The ticwatch Pro's vibration is weaker than a mouse's sneeze. Kept missing notifications. Left wondering why WearOS doesn't have sound notifications (only noises are made for calls) and then found your app. Works prefectly. Very happy to pay for premium! Thanks!
I was able to drive away from my phone for about 500 to 700 feet before I knew I didn't have my phone with me when my Tic watch and Feel the wear sound alerted me also it plays connect and disconnect sounds when I'm near the phone at differ6 times. So I'm not to sure about this app... A simple app that sounds off on my watch when I'm 3 to 5 feet away from my phone would be cool if you could set a short distance To alert you!?
100% Karl is right. This is no longer working for my device (Wear 1.5). It used to be a good app, however the developer should now provide a separate app which should be sideloaded onto the device or this will be obsolete. Hope they get this message. I've found no other way of contacting them :-\
The app is the best by far. There is a glitch that caused my watch to sound a notification tone almost every 20 minutes. I turned off the action for "sound when connected to charger". It seems to work
This app does exactly what i needed. I needed to know if i left my phone somewhere and be notified on my watch. done! With no charge. I then needed a particular alp to provide a custom vibration pattern. This was provided with premium and well worth it. Only app that seems to get it right.
Used to like it but goes through stages of being unreliable. Could be the watch rather than the app though. Gets frustrating when it keeps beeping for no reason other than the app sending beeps (see the history tab).
Works perfectly on the TicWatch Pro 2020. Was able to assign specific sounds to email, home alarm sensors, messages, etc. Never understood why audible notifications option was excluded from Wear OS. This is a brilliant app!
Still works if you have a backed up APK, including a separate backed up APK for wearOS. For instance, the app detects my Galaxy Watch 4 and works as it should. Easiest way to get these APKs is to extract them from another device. Not being able to download was annoying, as was having to use ADB debugging over WiFi with BugJaeger, but it works.
A great idea but it rings my watch with a notification tone 2-3 times per minutes when no notifications are present on my phone. Unusable because of this. Sadly I paid for premium some time ago and the issue was never fixed.
Didn't work with my fossil sport 4. Couldn't customize the notifications/vibrations. All it did was add additional vibrations (double what I was getting before) when the goal was to reduce the vibrations for notifications.
Good concept. I think at one point this might have worked, but now the watch disconnection notice produces a lot of false positives throughout the day (5 maybe on average). I look at the watch and it's still connected.
Transformative. Everything WearOS should be with fantastic customisation. Update March '22: After sideloading the app onto my watch after having to reset it, it no longer works at all. Very disappointing - from five stars to one. Please release the older version, even if you aren't supporting it, so that we can continue to use it.
