Uses:

Addition:

-Add two measurements together. Format is feet, inches, and fraction. The results are in a length format.

Subtraction:

-Subtract two measurements together. Format is feet, inches, and fraction. The results are in a length format.

Divide Length by Length:

-Divide one length by another. The results are a number with decimal. Example, is 6 inches divided by 6 inches. Results = 1.

Divide by number:

-Divide one length, by a number. The results are in a length. Example, 6 feet divided by 3. Results = 2 feet.

Multiply by number:

-Multiply one length, by a number. The results are a length. Example, 3 feet multiplied by 2. Results = 6 feet.

Multiply length by length (area calculator):

-Multiply two lengths to get an area. Results are in square feet. Example, 5 feet multiplied by 5 feet. -Results would be 25 square feet.

This app can be used for all types of trades. Carpentry, flooring, plumbing, roofing, and other trades that require you to calculate with length measurements.

You can set the precision up to 32nds in the free version.



The output of the calculator displays the results in a length, for example:

4 ft 6 inches 7/32 would be displayed. Not 4'6" or a decimal.
