Android Installation was easy. I followed the set up steps precisely and everything connected perfectly, first time. Recommend removing the protective film from camera lens before setting it up as it masks the sounds from the speaker. I do wish you could adjust the motion depth rather than turning zones on or off, but for the price point, you can't really complain. I don't understand the negative comments made on here about how difficult it is to set up. It isn't. Recommended.

Pretty good for the most part. Pretty basic, does most of what I need it to do. The app seems to have issues loading up from time to time, especially when trying to do split screen for more than one channel. And it would be nice to be able to shrink the motion detection zone down more. As it is I can't use detection because it sends me a notification every time someone drives by, and I just want it to focus on my yard. Beyond that, it works for me!

They need to do some work with the app. I have the color changing led bulbs and i cannot pair them. Im on a 2.4 ghz band and the connection is pretty decent, theres no way it should have such a hard time pairing to the device. The instructions are clearly written and easy to follow, which is good, but it dont mean jack if on the backend either the product or the app is junk.

The light bulbs were easy enough to set up, and the light and color controls are intuitive. It was easy to group them as well. However, It would be nice if the app let me configure ip addresses, I would like to set them up on their own subnet. It would also be nice if the app let me see the current wifi network the app and devices are using.

It's a great simple app to use and layout is easy to navigate around, BUT that is only when the app wants to work. Most of the time the app doesn't connect to the camera's. The camera itself can still record movement and send notifications but the app is the issue. The only temporary fix is to uninstall the app and reinstall for you to connect until it happens again.

Unhappy with this Android app. More often than not, I have to uninstall and reinstall it in order to see the live video feed. 99% of the time it does not go past establishing encrypted channel. Closing and reopening the app does not resolve, restarting my phone does not resolve, and reinstalling constantly is not a satisfactory resolution. The cameras work fine and are viewable 100% of the time on my iPad, so I know it's not a network or camera issue. Please fix! 😔

The worst experience. The device widget is absolutely useless, it will not respond while trying to turn on/off any devices, must go into the app the control devices. The devices on the widget were arranged randomly. I can't put the most frequently used devices on top and hide some devices that are seldom used. Attempt to write to customers service but there is not a single reply.

New version is BROKEN. Beware! I have 7 Feit security camera lights and 5 smart plugs and it was all working perfectly until this latest update came out. Now nothing works reliably. Cannot consistently connect to anything. Downloading video does not work. And after going back and forth with tech support for three days, now they've ghosted me. Costco is not going to be happy if I bring back a pile of year old cameras, but it's about to happen.

Really difficult to program routines. The brightness setting in scenes and automation is on a scale of 1-26% so you don't really know how bright it will be. And with colors, the brightness setting doesn't work at all. I programmed orange at 1% (as if the sun was rising, and although I got orange, it was over 40%. Will be returning.

The app instantly crashes every time I try to edit the colors of any of the effects for lights unless I'm editing the colors of a device group. It used to work until some months ago, but now that it's been this long and no fix, I've lost my patience. I like my lights to have specific colors, and the app already lacked the ability to set specific RGB values for my lights, and now my lights that I paid retail for are almost useless.

UPDATE. 2022 - I tried the bulbs again. Working OK now. There is a problem when editing a group of bulbs by pressing icon for 2 or 3 seconds to get the controls. I get the error "Native panel, version not support". App is up to date on android phone. Technically a good idea. Bulbs lose connection to wifi very easily, even though the light fitting is directly above the router. Becuse they have an unreliable wifi connection, it defeats the point of them. That makes them very expensive light bulbs.

How about somebody just call us before we write a bad review. Cameras will always work on split screen but will not work individually, you can click on one sometimes it will come up but can't get into a different camera and then can't get back into the original one that you chose. Usually when you click on the camera It says encrypt channel.

Security light with camera. The camera itself is fine, seems to work well when it works. The problem is the garbage interface. After the latest update, everytime I try to connect to the security camera at my house 500 miles away, it says "failed to create encrypted channel." A terrible app has rendered an otherwise ok piece of technology completely useless, will be returning. Stay away from Feit products!

The March 26, 2022 update was a huge improvement! Responsiveness and reliability of the lights responding to taps in the app has greatly improved. The previous version needed to be manually refreshed each time it was opened, and would often not respond to taps. As of March 26, 2022, these issues have practically disappeared. Huge improvement, much better now.

The software is a bit odd, but once you get the hang of it, it works great. I have seven lights and two outlets and they all work. I really like the sunrise/sunset option for the lights I have outside. If you want to try smart lighting I would recommend them based on the features they offer for the price.

App works mostly OK. I have two problems when used with the security camera: a) Video download does not work in the app. It says it downloads the video, but it is nowhere to be found after the download. I found a workaround: Go to Camera -> Playback. Play the video you want to download and press the "Record" button at the bottom. The recorded video is saved in the album b) There is no obvious way to control the brightness of the floodlight when triggered. You CAN set the light brightness when you manually trigger it, but the light is always at 100% brightness when the motion sensor triggers it. This is a problem if you have neighbors nearby you don't want to disturb.

The application works well overall, with a few side issues: - I had to go for the manual install. I suspect this is a Bluetooth scan issue on Android.. - The documentation on that matter must be for iOS because it does not really match my Android UI. - No way to access the device key, which I need to setup other apps. - The app shows the external IP address of my router as the device's address. Does Feit knows about address translation?

I was going to give this app a lower score but then noticed the update. After I updated, the app has performed better. No more flickering screen and turning devices on and off requires less wasted touches. It's not perfect but at least it's usable with less frustration.

With this new update there is no way to change a groups color, brightness all at the same time. I can turn them off and on all at once, but I have half a dozen lights that I now have to dim and change color all individually! It really makes this app and product such a pain, I think I'll remove the lights. What a waste of $. Before the update this was a great system that I used ALL THE TIME! Used to just long touch the group Now it says native panel: view not supported. PLEASE FIX THIS ISSUE!

Good when it decides to work. I'm back to using the lightswitch on the wall- faster and more reliable Only seems to work when I'm trying to demonstrate how it doesn't work. I don't have time for the constant back and forth of fiddling with a glitchy app when I just need to see to pee. This morning my main kitchen light refused connect and I could operate it by itself but it refused to respond with set kitchen group so... I'm really just over the whole idea now. Good theory, horrible execution.

Just installed 2 LED can downlights. Installed the app. 1st off the iphone app is sooo much better and has a higher rating. I have a galaxy s9. It was easier to add devices using the iphone, so we shared devices and group to the android. While all commands and status is right away on iphone, everything on the android is slow or non responsive. I find my self closing and restarting the app a lot. Makes it pretty much unusable since you get one command or change and then have to sit and wait or relaunch the app.

Extremely unreliable security camera. Unit is unable to encrypt 95% of the time despite 90% wifi strength. Not compatible with Spectrum wifi-6 2.4 GHz frequency whereas other cameras never have problems. It is loaded with features that will be nice only if they work. Customer service in India told you to shut it off the camera for half hour and restart again. No kidding! Highly not recommended.

I've had Feit Electric service/ cameras now for about 2 yrs. I've always had good clarity & good sound. I would rate them 4 stars & recommend them. Security cameras are fairly priced. App is easy to download & use... The only issue I have is the security cameras periodically go off line sometimes for more than a week. No security coverage when it happens. Not sure why. Usually follows an update.... hope this issue is resolved.

The app does what it needs to, but having to verify your email address to register an account feels shady. The verification can't even be justified as 2FA security as it's only verified when creating the account and not when you login. It feels like they want to verify that there's someone actually checking the email account... just like spammers do.
