Fella for Facebook

Only been using fella for 5 minutes. Nearly docked a star for being prompted to write a review so soon after installing and running the app. Must say though, it is pretty neat. Decent amount of customization, seems responsive and smooth, and most importantly and the primary reason I looked for a Facebook substitute, the ads are gone gone gone!!! EDIT: I see some have issues clearing notifications, I have an issue getting notifications, period. They simply not showing up despite being on...

This is actually quick rubbish. See more links don't work. Text gets cut off. Notifications show even when you've cleared them, plus never tap on a notification it's near impossible to return to them. Text is absolutely tiny. Nearly always inadvertently hit a sticker that isn't loaded yet when commenting. Report to group admin menu item is gone. I could go on but it's really not worth it.

Great wee app, quick and compact. Only issue I have found is not being able to zoom in when clicking on images making some unreadable e.g. concert venue listings on images. Seems to be unable to save images to device which is a feature I'd love this app to have. If I hold on picture to get a menu it just highlights the text under the image. Device Samsung S8+

It keeps telling me "The link you followed may be broken" whenever I click an image or a video that i want to see. And it suggests me to open the facebook app instead. Even more, i can not download the video just like in the demo video. Oh ya, the last thing is the loading time is sooo slow compare to the other facebook app out there... Disappointing..

Very buggy, only played with it for ten mins, changed the color scheme, went back to the newsfeed and could only get 'thanks for joining facebook' as though I'd just joined. It's basically a web container with custom css with a wrapper. If it worked right off the bat, I'd probably use it as my main Facebook app, it's very flaky though. Seems beta/alpha. Doesn't matter who's side it's on, if it doesn't work, it doesn't work. The dev is aware, the app should be pulled from the store or be free.

It's a very small app, very customisable and fast. However, I am having issues with saving any content. Whenever I try to save something it just keeps fetching and never stops, I can't go back from it either so I have to close the app. Would the Devs have any idea how to fix this?

Paid version. No save and hide item buttons in marketplace. Bug misusing feature making it block the feature. Pages are reloaded everytime switching between tabs. No selling/buying summary page. Other bugs and issues cant remember them all. Require a lot of fixes and improvements.

Feature rich just as described but just not refined enough. The actual user experience is not too great. The app also runs out of posts to show quickly, I don't know if that is an issue with this app, but the official facebook/lite shows much more posts. Loved the ability to copy text.

I'm loving this app. Just having two issues, since recently the app doesnt show on the whole display. I think it started doing that after an update. And when im on mobile data, the search function doesnt work.

many bugs.. no way to mark your notifications as read.. viewing stories is a pain and if there is a video or a poll its even more painful.. moving between the options reloads everything.. the only good things is everything is black in here and no ads.. but it costs you a lot of bugs..

I don't recommend this app, it's pretty slow, have some errors which are super annoying and also don't have some useful options that apps such as Facebook lite have, if they are able to fix this things it would be an amazing alternative, but not as it is right now.

Not so good for a paid app. Its lightweight and has ad block but too slow when searching. Often stuck on search, especially on mobile network. Infinite load bug is still present. UI needs more improvements. Not opening random pictures after latest updates.

Update: Completely ignored by development team about my requests posted months ago. °19/02/2020° Previous Requests: 1. Can you please update this app to support "ManyChat" bot because I am not getting links in group messages that I need to click on. 2. "Mark all as read" button is not working. 3. Images and video links are been displayed to the right of messenger and are off screen. || These issues need to be addressed immediately then ratings will climb. || Awaiting your prompt response. 👎🏼

Main feature of this app is blocking Ads which I loved it, and customisation options. But the UI of this app is very much old school especially messaging section, I didn't felt confident will texting. So fella needs UI UPGRADE atleast make it like facebook lite. And sometimes it gets reload automatically when I'm scrolling. Hope so consider my suggestion. Best of luck for future. 👍

I like the ability to customize aspects of this app. Dark background, bottom navigation, etc. Either this app doesn't have multiple account support or I am missing whete that is located. also, I cannot find a way to log out.

Previous Issue Solved. Thanks developer. Other Problem: When text selection is enabled, while holding the like button for reactions, the nearbuy text gets selected and when i swipe up to select the reaction the whole feed gets selected and to remove that selection i have to press share and then go back.

Don't waste your money downloading this... this app is the worse it just blocked add but thats it all the other function are the worse the button are unresponsive... it constantly hang so you have to refresh it and when you are scrolling down after 3 pages you have to clicked that ''see more stories'' button which is really stressing me out... it is making facebook less fun...

it was a good app before but now its getting more and more buggy with every update. the notifications doesn't pop up many times. and the UI is really very old school. cant zoom in a pic from a simple tap. it needs a serious revamp

Fix the feed page, posts are displayed repeatedly while scrolling on page, friends page error, once you tap on suggestions than unable to go back on friend request page, need to do more hard work. Do ASAP. Premium app needs premium service.

Been useing this off and on since it was first released on play store,its pretty good and one of the better alternatives,i did notice adjusting text size does nothing,your biggest size way to small for these bad old eyes,please concider adjusted size bigger options and that be great,thx

Great app devs, much better than those free apps out there, feature request add an option that we can choose our user agent, favorites(beloved friends on the side bar so we can quickly visit their profile page) and the ability to use chrome custom tab. This is the fastest custom fb out there, thanks devs for your work.

Very slow and many issues with back option from notifications Or from any option top icons and need to update status view option becoz video must be play automatically and it should have download option and tap to next status option must be there So overall using the App after a purchase it's really Disgusting 🤢 🤮 experience for me...

Although it has amazing features especially the download feature, hopefully in the next update, the download bar or the ongoing download can be minimized for us to continue downloading more or to use Facebook while its downloading. Will definitely support you guys all through out.

Just downloaded this app after looking for numerous other lite Facebook platforms. As my first day using this, it's actually pretty impressive. I love how user friendly this is. And how much I can customize the border color and text font to my liking. It's a really great app. I'll update my review in a few weeks. Let's see if this app would retain my experience as is 😁 but for now. Thanks for this app!!

It's great for using Facebook and it's messenger in 1 app. But the font can't change with the same font that I use for my phone (default). The notification is off although I already turned it on. And please add new recent option for the group also. Please fix it

I love the idea you give to the app. It's featured are wonderful but it's too slow in loading on my phone. But to do love it. So sleek and a beautiful idea to change social media.

I liked that it had dark mode for the home feed and allowed users to access facebook messages without installing the intrusive messenger app. Alas, it no longer functions as even a basic facebook app. 👎

The app simply seems to be out of date, doesn't seem to be getting updated anymore and doesn't work with today's Facebook. At least on my phone.

Decent FB container. Feels like cheated. You can download FB container extensions in Firefox and browse :) No need to charge this much for a app with limited features. PS :- To the arrogant dev, I'm not misleading users. I'm helping them. It's a review.

it is a good app for getting rid of ads but most of the time it shows no internet connection. this is not on my part because my internet is blazing fast, i just needed an ad disabler, Swipe Pro is still more stable even though this app is faster on access
