Fern Flower

This game is quite calming but a bit too repetitive. After a while the game becomes very boring and it doesn't seem like there's much of a point. Sometimes when I tap my screen nothing happens. My character falls as a result and I lose. I don't know if this was an intentional feature or a bug but either way it makes playing the game frustrating. Overall this is a nice game. There's some flaws here and there but it's not a bad game to play when you have spare time.

It's a lovely game, really peaceful. The soundtrack is amazing and the design are gorgeous. However, I may be dumb but I don't really get how's the gravity in this game (?) My character is always falling when I was sure it was on the ground. I'm a bit confuse but overall it's a great game that I 100% recommend!!

Beautiful game visually and musically.... However, the tutorial is nowhere near clear enough. Took forever to figure out. Fun once you learn. Definitely hard though. I made it to 1K though, so not impossible. You have to tap on the left and right sides of your screen back and forth in timing. Think a little like the flippers of a Pinball Machine. Lol.

as much as i really want to love this game, i can only say it's borderline decent. it feels too basic - like a concept game rather than a fully finished piece. The terrain can sometimes be too difficult to navigate (despite figuring out the controls), it's extremely hard to actually collect flowers and the collectable dots throughout the level are pretty much useless. Despite this, the overall look of the game, alongside the music, is absolutely delightful. I feel like this game has potential.

only a few minutes into playing for the first time and I love the style and music. the colours and designs are so pretty, I love them. there should definitely be a second version, with a more developed story, not just collect flowers, but meet npcs or have tasks like collecting a certain amount of flowers. a scrolling map that goes sideways too would be nice, and some more skins. it also seems like a lot of time went into the look and not the story, so pls develop it, i will install the next one

Fern Flower is a simple arcade game. Tap the left or right side of the screen to jump in the respective direction and hold it to jump higher. The character will jump if the background is the rock wall and will be game over if the character falls below the screen. Jump as high as possible while collecting fireflies and fern flowers, used for points, power-ups, revives, and unlocking characters. It's a relaxing time with small details in designs and a cool atmosphere, but nothing outstanding. 4/5.

I love this game. The graphics are very pretty and so is the music, its also very calming. But the only issue that's holding it back for it being a great game is the other characters are VERY high in price. You have to collect a certain amount of flowers to unlock the new characters but the characters cost 100 to 250 flowers and you barely see that many flowers in the game. It will take you FOREVER just to unlock one character. Please fix this.

I love the colors, not the usual neon colors most people use to get you to notice their game. The concept is nice and simple, but I want something to do with the points you collect. The characters are neat, and everythings pretty much amazing. Oh, and it doesn't blast your face with those neon colored mobile adds, much less regular adds. Great job!

it's a cute offline game I play when I'm bored, the mechanics work fine and it's nicely paced and I just like it overall, but it won't save my progress. I used to have about 230 flowers and the fox character, and recently I opened the game and it had started me completely over, I had lost all of the progress. Which is fine I guess, but now every time I open the game my progress is re-set. It's not a huge issue because other than that the game works fine but it would be nice if this was fixed.

I actually love this game alot. While the game has a simple premise, it gives it's own originality through giving the player an actual goal. The game is simple in a way that is both Challenging, Relaxing, and Fun. My favorite part is perhaps how beautiful the art and FX/Music is. The art style is just stunning. It's Geometrical shape base just gives it this unique style. The FX/Music quality is amazing. This is overall a wonderful game. As it continues to grow it will continue to be a favorite.

hi, the game's visual is super aesthetic and the sounds are also very pleasing and relaxing. however theres so much more that could be done to improve it. i suggest putting a story for the game, character backgrounds and general personlity to each character. i want to know why we're collecting flowers and i wanna know what those glowy golden things are. what we're climbing and why. the atmosphere is amazing but just lack on a story to keep people going. Make us want more of this game!

Fern flow is a fun arcade styled climbing game. It has a very interesting art style. This game only failters at four things. The gameplay is repetitive theirs a lack of progression as your only goal is a higher score and unlock the experience characters. Some times the obstacles aren't hard but tedious to get past. Last it sells out pretty hard the in game currency is rare and a pain to get and the unlockable characters are high price. Over all this game makes an amazing time waster when you have nothing to do.

So this is my first ever review, and this app is quite good, its very soothing and relaxing. It has very little ads, which is quite surprising to say that its a free app, the controls were quite easy to get used to (for me)🙂. The reason why I give it 3 STARS is because it has very little flowers, to get money you need to find flowers but the flowers don't really pop up as often, which makes getting other characters hard, if they did pop up more then it would be 5 STARS.

i love this game and almost everything about it, the gameplay, the art style, and the characters are all great! i have some complaints though, first of all, the game does not explain what the fireflies does, its a mystery. second, the shop says "buy anything to remove ads" with anything misspelled, i have bought every character except for Aurochs, and i still get ads in the game, i hope the devloper can help me with this but as it stands, ads are still appearing.

Fern Flower is a very aesthetically pleasing game and it's got beautiful graphics! I absolutely love the scenery and such. But, I do however, have an issue with controls (maybe it's just me). For me, (I'm still on the tutorial) when I get to certain area, I jump but then I fall. But maybe it's just me and I gotta get used to it or whatever. But, I love the game! I hope this company makes more games like this !

A beautiful game that is fun and challenging! My favorite mobile game. The art style is great and the mechanics are simple, well done and easy to get used to. All adds are optional (and beneficial to gaining new characters.)

I really enjoy this game. It runs smoothly with no issues, and has a really nice ThatGameCompany-esque aesthetic that reminds me of Journey. My only issue with it is that it takes the length of an average human lifespan to collect enough flowers to unlock anything. Other than that, though, I do love this thing.

This would be a very zen game if controls didn't glitch almost every ten jumps. All the time I keep losing because next tap does not register, nor left, nor right one even if there is whole block of solid ground as character is falling. Just suddenly game does not respond to taps, but there is no fps drop and taps show up on screen (enabled that in Android settings). Artificial difficulty? Forced fail?

Seems like an unfinished concept, at certain heights it's almost impossible to climb up, if you add upgrades for higher jumps and more directioned jumps (instead of the fixed angles to the left and right), it would have more sense to continue playing the game. Now, when you reach those heights - it's all repetitive play from there.

I have been playing this game for long period of time, and really disappointed by problem when I push on the screen and no reaction appears, doe just falls down and I lose my game. I really like atmosphere of the game, and soundtrack is awesome, but due to this problem I can't move forward, alas.

This game is amazing! It is a great example of a good mobile game that does not shove adds in your face. The music is calming and the geometrical art style is pleasing to look at. The characters and backgrounds are very well designed and absolutely beautiful. The arcade aspect of it is a nice contrast with the combat games i like to play. I would recommend this app to anyone and everyone.

My only gripe is that this game is mildly repetitive. Other than that, I can't tell you how many times I've used it to ground myself during a hard time. The music and visuals are soothing, and the slow and steady approach to moving forward helps calm and relax you. It's certainly something I would recommend to people with anxiety. Even the "game over" screen is empathetic, sweet and understanding.

(EDITED) This game is very calming and has good graphics, good aesthetic and good music. However, the controls are a bit difficult and theres not much to do in the game. It feels like its something you cant get good at on the second or third try, but other than that, its good.

Great game, the concept and art are lovely, but the controls are great but not too touch sensitive. I have a hard time going through narrow paths when the jumps are not timed when I react.

There's no significant skill difference between characters but there is a lot of cost difference. Time spent on saving enough flowers to unlock a new character is not rewarding. Playing with no change makes the gameplay boring.

Fun sort of mountain-climb, beat your own highest score, chill kind of game. It seems to put a lot of emphasis on getting the fern flowers, but I feel like they're more of a side quest. I do think the light orbs should be used for something like the boost jump or magnet powerups because they currently cost 5 fern flowers a pop and I'm averaging about 2 flowers per run. If you like casual skill games and can ignore the amount of fern flowers needed for everything, you'll probably enjoy this.

At first no idea what was happening.. but music guided the way.. a relaxing game and graphics are really beautiful.. 😊😊😊😊 It's just, the character appears really small, which was one of the reason I started playing the game.. 😏

So relaxing! Of course, at times its monotonous, but it really helps that here's a goal (to buy the avatars and get a higher score). I keep returning to this game, definitely recommend if you're looking for a game where you don't have to think and just move ^^
