FERZU - Furries Social Network

Had this app for 2 years, could never find anything. What finally sent me over the edge was when a moderator asked me to provide receipts or watermarks for the commissions for my pfps. If other people were using my images as their own, I could see the problem, but nope. I was just randomly picked it seems.

First of all : can't upload a single photo. App crashes if one is selected. The UI seems a bit unintuitive, I had no idea how to change my profile photo (maybe I would if I looked around for more than 2 minutes, but can't upload any photos anyway so why bother). No idea if I can change password from the default rando mess as well.

I have to refresh the all to get new messages to populate, emojis dont work properly, I have to force close the app to get it to reload fully. Another issue I have is when I'm listening to music and I go to send a message the message sound pauses my music. I also don't find the charge for messaging is needed, especially when the app is terrible as a free app, why would I pay for the terrible app.

Well designed app, easy to use. Only complaint I have is that the ads by Google cover navigation buttons rendering the app temporarily useless. I know that it's a free app and that ads are necessary but maybe there's a way to integrate them without making the app impossible to use.

I wasn't really able to use the app because the ads covered the navigation icons at the bottom of the screen. I had the option to pay a monthly or yearly fee to get rid of the ads, but without being able to use the app to see if it would be worthwhile, I don't feel comfortable paying for that. Device is a Oneplus 5 if that helps.

it's sort of in a limbo: not as good as amino but better Howler. it's clunky in its design having to go through menus to find what you want. but by the worst aspect about this service is just how extra it is. Everytime I meet someone the first thing I do after introduction I'd ask them if they have any OTHER social apps to talk on. You know you messed up somewhere when people want to not use your app more than necessary. The best thing about Ferzu is how specific you can get with searches.

The UI frequently breaks, buttons throw errors, the connection is finnicky, and it barely handles images. But at least the users are all wonderful people and the app **does work** just not well. I'm shocked they have a premium subscription option with such a poorly programmed application.

its a great app, but it could really be better. Its never going to be worth the price for Premium im afraid. Almost everything you would want is behind a paywall and its not really worth having what you want off the bat for a $7 subscription fee.

I really like this app, the people are very friendy and so far it seems really good. Sometimes the keybored dose freeze alittle and also, take a few moments to contacted to the server. But out of the furry apps out there I would say it was the best I've seen and used.

Ferzu is my least used social app, and there are 3 reasons why. 1. Outdated design. Ferzu is in desperate need of a facelift to UI and optimization. It's slow, clunky, and horrible. 2. Rampant Advertising. I get it, it pays the bills. But putting the ad banner right against the text keyboard is scummy. 3. Community. The community for Ferzu is a mixed bag. There are good people, and there are bad people, but mostly bad. Very clique focused. New members are rare. Not recommended.

no "ok" confirmation when posting pictures (if you touch on a picture in your library it will instantly post that picture), no way to delete pictures in chat if uploaded by mistake, pictures are uploaded sideways even if they are correctly oriented on your phone. no way to fully delete chats after you have "deleted them" they stay in a junk bin labled "deleted". form letters returned when using the contact for help. Suggest meeting people in this app and moving the conversation to telegram.

It's pretty solid. The only complaint I have is that the notification sound plays through my phone's media player. This means that my music pauses when someone sends me a msg. But other than that, it is good!

the app needs a lot of work tbh, mainly the chat feature. its extremely laggy and i hate having to constantly refresh the app. the app has a good frame/consept and its the only one ive seen. honestly i wish there where more furry social media apps. lots of creeps but the few normal people ive met have been absolutely amazing

A decent app mechanically. Issues begin with art. Regardless of your ownership level, agreements, or licenses, if a name is not credited for every piece of art, you will be harassed and it will be deleted. This becomes a particular issue with anonymous artists. You're better off using a different app where this is a non-issue.

When I tried to sign up it said that my email was blocked, when I sent an email inquiring as to why, as I had never accessed the site prior to that moment I recieved no response and instead awoke to a banned IP address instead. No reply from any of the "staff", no reason as to why I was blocked. Just woke up to an empty inbox and an IP ban. Absolute farce of service.

Never use this app.... not only does it glitch continually, there aren't enough people to make it worth it. On top of everything, they removed my pictures for not knowing who took them.... they're my pictures, that were made for ME, im sorry if I cant remember everyone involved in it... bottom line... avoid this app. Don't waste your time. You're better off just joining IB or FA.

The app idea is great and some things in it are pretty good..but some of the rules are absolutely stupid because I guess the watermark or the artists signature on art work that you had commissioned and now own doesn't count as "giving the artist credit"I'm pretty Shure when a artist puts their name or..you know logo on an art piece that usually is so they get credit for their work..and the fact that you can only see about a dozen or so people in your area and have to pay a stupid amount of money every so often just to see the rest of them ..that's probably the worst way I've ever seen a social media app get run..just stick to face book or anything else because those options can do the exact same thing and all for free with alot more people that use them

This app looks extremely cool but is misleading. My friend and I, currently 14, thought this was to make friends, thus downloading it onto my phone. Started to make my account and noticed it's 18+. Long story short I was upset because this was the only decent furry site I could find. Oh well, I'll have to just wait 4 years-

Has an ad banner covering navigation buttons, making it unusable for me. I've submitted a bug report and I will change my review once the issue is corrected.

I was going to fix an issue with photo crediting because i didnt know who the artist was because its been 5 years since i bought the art. and they gave me 24 hours to fix it and I asked for an admins help 40 min after i got the message to fix it and I told the user Foxbot that i wanted an admin to help me because i have anxiety because of a previous past issue. and got a point for asking for help I would not reccomend.

The app itself is mediocre, which can probably be fixed with some time and care. The community seems active, but all you can read about in the newsfeed is people feeding their ego by telling anyone how depressed they are and getting a digital pat on the back, or it's about yiff, just not worth digging further into if you just want to get to know people. Even if you fill out your profile and post stuff most people will just look at your profile and move on.

I'm not confused, but maybe the devs are. This app hasn't been updated in 14 months, and in response to a bug report I sent, the devs said this app wasn't getting updated, it's getting replaced. There's currently NO APP AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC THAT'S BEING SUPPORTED, only their website. If the devs aren't going to provide mobile users with a suppored app, (i.e. continue to support the old app, or release the new app), then take it off the store until they have one ready.
