App is unusable for over a week now. Keeps crashing on my Pixel 2 XL. Cannot control anything in my house (over 50 devices). Absolutely unacceptable for home automation. Update: It has been a month and still no fix or update. App crashes immediately. Update: Fix was promised very soon but still cannot use any of the home automation. Update: fix was promised and being tested but after three months still no usable app. Complete failure for all customers (Beta Fibaro App is also completely useless)
Almost 50% of seemingly random devices from my HC2 slave show up as greyed out, so I cannot see their status or control them, rendering the app as useless. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app several times and rebooted both my HC2. The problem persists. EDIT: I tried your suggestion and deleted all cached and application data and reinstalled the app. The problem persists. The problem has now been resolved. The app is working again!
*UPDATE* Still waiting for the fix we have all been promised. The app keeps closing on start up, this is no good. How do I control my devices when not in local network(luckily I also use Home Remote and can control them locally via their app 5* there by the way!) 3 months on and still nothing. surely it is not that hard to re-release an older version whilst you work on the fix. just thankful I am not a business. How would you explain this to your customers!!!!! Simply a poor service Fibaro.
Application stopped working when I changed my device to Huawei mate 20 pro. The app closes suddenly when it tries to connect. I tried all possible solutions like clearing the cache and reinstalling but still no luck. I noticed another user had similar review here in Google play. Received a very quick response from Fibaro support promising to resolve the issue soon. Update : issue seems to be fixed and application is now working.
I can't get this to work. I deleted the app reinstalled it. Then I can login everything is good. Turn the phone screen off then on. go to this app, wants me to log in again try to login says error please verify your login doesn't work unless I reinstall the app. I am so fed up with trying to login 101 of an app. I am trying to get this fit for my clients but this is painful.
Awful app. Impossible to load plugins (including weather plugin that was included in Fibaro Home Center 3). Sensors are missing (temperature, motion, etc). No existing scenes loaded from HC. The only reason to use this app is to control binary switches (lights and power plugs).
much better than new version. But, I noticed one "problem". Notifications on Android 10 have delay and If the phone is in standby the notification comes with long delay even if I have set the app to not optimized in Android setting. This is big issue for me, because of alarm and other states.
Doesn't even work with android. Can't sign in, nothing. Just grt the home page where you log in. I can log in but it won't recognise my apartments system and it won't let me type it in manually either. Absolutely ridiculous. Update: thanks for the reply, I have already logged in online with my I'd. And into the app with my log in. I've done all you've listed and still doesn't work. Thanks for replying though and trying to help I really appreciate it Update 2 I've emailed them and no reply weeks
Unbelievable that the app is not working for over 3 months now... what is the use of a home automation if you can't control your devices! Thinking to sell the whole Fibaro stuff. Continiously problems with this. Really disapointed in this expensive home automation.
Worst app takes more than 10 seconds to connect to the home centre and sometimes response after turning off of or on the switch is too late and sometimes doesn't work properly. Need to fix many problems, being a big automation company need to fix issues for seamless usage.
It's unreliable at best. Since a few weeks I can't control lights nor shades... I can do that only from the Yubii app, but I can't control heating from there ... It's rediculouse that I need 2 separate apps both from Fibaro to control my home.
Works great with Samsung S20; Samsung Note 8 and Aplle iPad Pro. Phone app is great because of its widgets, Tablet app is cool because of dashboard, consumption, event history and other. I also use Huawei T3 10 tab (fitted on the wall) and works flawlessly. Had connection problems in the past, when used 4G mobile modem but since switched to a proper fibre broadband with TP-Link AX6000 modem/router, never ever had any problems with connection even if my Fibaro HA is in Lithuania and I am in UK
Does not work at all. update: Apparently there is a issue when I access it from other networks than the local one. It should also work remote not only on the local wi-fi. maybe the fix is somewhere in ny user's permissions.
App keeps crashing on my phone, previous version was working great. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling but no luck. I email and called the Fibaro Support but no response. I am so fed up
the app crashes as soon as i connect to HC2 and doesnt open... have tried uninstalling and installing and connecting again... and again.... just readso many complaints of same nature.... and Fibaro has still not been able to fix it??? quite a shame, isnt it?
Hi, After trying to update the new software to 4.520 and keeps on not working, I have tried to uninstall and reinstall the app 3 -4 times to try and get it to work but it now is crashing on me everytime I log in. What can I do now to get this to work remotely? This app was working perfectly fine before the new update.
awsome app now when i got i to work on my mate 20 pro. didnt work at first when i copied the apps from my old samsung to my new mate 20 pro, it just closed the app when starting it. Dont know what fixed it because i tried so many things. 1. removed new fibaro app from phone, 2 Deleted mobile device in my Fibaro webpage, 3 deleted all user data and cache in the fibaro app on the phone, 4 reconfigured/reconnected phone to my Hc2 in the app again.
Very bad application, every time I do something in it, I need to restart it after a few actions, because it just stops working.
Keeps asking me to authorize connection to my home center lite after restarting router. Can only log into fibaro ID but still cannot authorize connection and says password is wrong. Only fixed when resetting local account using fibaro ID into the old password...
After many years Fibaro app died. It can't open and widgets are disabled. New app Yubii has very bad UX and widgets doesn't work.
app does not show when info was last updated, no refresh button, no power usage button. lack of scene control to turn off or disable. adding device no information scroll to see it being added.
The wizard is unable to connect to my homecenter, because the wifi and the HC are on different subnets. Horrible design. There really should be a manual option to specify the IP of the HC2.
Fantastic app, have been using it for years. Unfortunately, it doesn't appear to work with the latest version of Android on the new Galaxy S10+. Please update the app.
So much better than the *new* app. This one works and even has several widgets. I beg the vendor to not discontinue this app....sure it's a little dated looking, but it operates and that's the most important thing.
Never had an issue with the app on my S8+ but doesn't work on S10+ as keeps crashing. Hopefully be resolved very soon as a superb app otherwise.
Reinstalled it more than 3 times and it crashes on me every single time I try to connect to my HC2. Was working fine before the 21 November update. Please fix this!!
Worst system. I couldnt switch off my air conditioning for 1 whole day until i had to switch it off my the main plug. I restarted my home center 2 for 5 times and still i cant switch it off. The fibaro doesnt even have 24/7 support where they can help me. Waste of money and time
Crashes almost every day, non stop has problems with connection. And it is kinda stupid that you can hear the door alarm only when you're in the app.. it doesn't make much sense. I don't get any specific errors, mostly it is a problem with connection. I tired reinstalling the app and clearing the cash several times and it hasn't changed a thing so far. For some time it is okay and then the same thing happens
