I assumed there was a free version as the add says it is free. Actually 3 days free but you have to put payment details even to get those so deleted. Sorry, no payment details until I know it's worth having. Falsely advertising and giving the impression this is free really
I have found since the new version was uploaded a lot of times once the countdown has reached zero it then gets stuck and doesn't go to the next age and therefore the check isn't recorded. I don't know if anyone else has found this
It wasn't broken why fix it It takes a long time to take measurements compared to the old version I did not pay For this ? After the 60 seconds are up it takes another 30 to 40 seconds before it ends it's not my Phone it's the same phone I'm using there was no problem before the update
There are so many apps for the same thing. it gets worse when you have to subscribe to any app before trying if it works better than other apps or not. When a company is not confident in their product they try to tie up the customer before they let them use their product. This is wrong.
Can't say. It doesn't work with my pixel 4a. Nothing is happening when I put my finger on the cam, tried to move, other fingers... No luck, get stuck on the screen that says to relax.
3 day trial gated by having to sign up for a sub, but the paypal connection keeps looping and you can't add a debit card. Better not measure after all the stress from such hassle XD
Easy to use. However, my initial results were changed following review, I'm not sure why. Sent them a message but no response.
This app is so easy to use and the results have been 100% correct in relation to my symptoms. Paid for the essential for the year and is very good value
Refuses to accept my email address so no good, would have given no stars if possible, waste of time trying, keeps telling me to enter a valid email address, well my email address is valid.
Definitely 5 stars since last update. Much more reliable and consistent, really useful.
Seems like a really useful app for people with known arrythmias. Don't think most of the population should install this as it could lead you to think you've a problem when you don't. Biggest problem is that it has very unstable Bluetooth when trying to use it with a Fitbit Ionic: constantly get an error message when trying to take a reading that Bluetooth is in error. Restarting watch and phone doesn't cure it, despite Bluetooth working within other apps. Too unstable/buggy to be useful.
It's a 4-5 star app.....when it's working. After a successful 24h trial period I subscribed for the paid version. And that is when the problems started. The app is freezing while taking the measurements and difficulties with even starting the measurements because the app is struggling to find the puls though I am doing everything correctly and what I am doing worked during trial. It's disappointing, the app is really helpful when it works :(
Like app but not impressed with payments. I've been using for a while and went to renew subscription. Accidentally pressed the yearly one which I can't afford at the moment. I immediately emailed them and they won't change or refund to monthly. Its expensive and not impressed by this decision especially at this time when we're all short of money. I've now lost £50 for something I'll use every now and again.
I think for what it is, it's an amazing app! Obviously there is room for improvement. However, it scans and detects AF and is an amazing tool to help identify an abnormally! It's a tool, it doesn't diagnose! I think people expect too much from a product that ultimately uses infrared and is not something to expect an analytical assessment of the electrical activity of the heart! Personally, I think it's a massive step forward, well done!!
Requires at least 1 subscription (and to provide payment acc details) to start even the 1st measurement. Listing this as a free app is misleading.
Spent more time downloading than using. Asking for subscription before using. Merchandising app.
Seems to work well however app crashes when trying so see the review.
Accurate and reassuring. For those of you struggling to get an accurate reading, try a different finger, it needs to be completely still with no. Movement, so if your hand is shaking, it won't be possible. Apart from the fact it CLEARLY says there is a 3 day trial period before subscription (which is monthly or annually), why on earth should they give it for free, it costs them money to run!. Even prescriptions costs money, you want a free reading, go to the doctor!
There is no such issue with the app. It depends on how you follow the instructions. Worked for me.
Not stable for taking readings. After 30 or more seconds of good readings it says to keep finger steady. It does this all the time. Not too easy to get good readings. Why can't it use the built in heart rate sensor?
Seems like a good app, but I lost count of how many times I had to retry to get a measurement as it keeps resetting the test. I'd imagine this would be nearly impossible to someone who's actually shaking with heart issues.
Very frustrating trying to get it to work. I have to move it around like an ariel for it to kick in, and then the slightest move knocks it off again. Disappointing and time consuming!
The app uses the camera flash and camera sensor to detect rhythm, not a bad idea for universal application, but my phone already has a built in heart rate sensor, why not use that. Also the flash is so intense that i had a burning sensation on my finger after 15seconds, the test is 60seconds, there is no way to complete the test without burning my skin.
I actually like the app. The price, not so much. It's VERY expensive, at £20 a month for full access. If there was clear transparency on cost it would sting less and I'd be more inclined to pay. I want to trust the app but experienced some symptoms (missed beats) and could see it show on the reading but came back as normal, so I'm not sure? £10 to have it reviewed for it to potentially come back as normal again so will do what any of us should probably do in the first place and see the doctor.
Unable to test without buying. I'd like to try this app out but I don't want to sign up to $100 subscription on an app without at least trying it. Deleted without using it as i had no way to evaluate it - for all I know the app could be utter mince (ie dreadful) or it might be the world's best app. But there is no way for me to tell without first signing up to an expensive plan. Therfore I shall delete the app unused.
One day free trial, no way of cancelling! Treid following the instructions as per the faq pg. Web address they gave comes up as error/access denied pg. I manually typed in the address, same again. Clicked on my subscriptions as per the instructions. Takes me to where I MUST sign up for either essential or premium package WITH NO 'CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTIONS' IN SIGHT! And takes u bk to the app repeatedly! Taken screenshots to prove there is no 'cancel my subscription' anywhere at all in sight.
Very non-transparant pricing. You get the impression that it's a free app with paid extra's. You then spend 10 minutes setting everything up and it turns out you have to pay after all...
