Latest fix actually made the problems with the android watch list widget even worse. Now not only does it go to black screen when you press on an individual stock on the watch list, the refresh button in the top right hand corner doesn't refresh the widget. Guys seriously. Just do away with the widget and put it out of its misery. And why are the futures so hard to find!!!! They should be the first things you see on the screen. Those and any news related to the stocks in your portfolio. 🤦‍♀️

Updated 5/25/22 - I want to like this app but it's trying. I don't like the fact I have to click "login" after opening the app or tap to "quick view" when I've already enabled. That should be assumed. Removed another ⭐. Complicated app. The overall process of making changes in the app is confusing. Face unlock is a welcome change.

Very helpful for the basic stuff like viewing how your stocks or doing but anything else you want to look at like financial statements, valuation ratios, and other metrics are still difficult to find/work in app. it also has this bad habit of switching between landscape and vertical mode every other page. Has the potential to be a great app but its definitely still a work in progress.

Right now after the latest update, the app is too buggy. I use the finger on screen with pull down and release to refresh account value or prices. That's gone now. After a timeout due to inactivity, the app goes into no man's land instead of back to the login screen. I'm afraid if it gets worse, I won't be able to trade at all, as the trade panel hides the final button to submit the order on the website.

The "BETA EXPERIENCE" is so bad it really baffles me. Instead of fixing bugs within the useful parts of the app like the WatchList Widget, (Example: You can select a symbol from your watchlist on the Widget for a quote, and nothing but a black screen appears, for 2 or 3 updates now), "Beta" seems to focus on providing the user with a more difficult navigation experience while throwing in a bunch of clutter. Such a shame. Stick with the Classic folks.

(Update) Well, it's gotten a little better but still has a very bad design. Not an intuitive or user friendly app. Has too much of a learning curve. Needs to take design notes from more simple apps like robinhood, simple intuitive display. The graphs are very bad and hard to find, should be able to see when looking at each individual stock I own. When dividends are paid it should show how many shares you own. Simplicity is key on mobile apps. Leave the bloated technical stuff for the desktop.

I've been having problems with the app, I thought there was something wrong with my network until I read the recent reviews. The app takes forever to load or fails to load all together. My other banking apps work fine. This app is getting progressively worse, not better with each "update". Developers please remember this is a mobile app not a pc application. The more content and "features" you add, the slower it gets. Every person who uses it doesn't have a six bar 5G signal.

Laggy, buggy, and missing a lot of common sense settings. But has a lot of useless features. Delay or missing trade notifications. Scrolling is laggy. Constantly need to log out and clear cache. No extended hours streaming on watch list. Can't chose columns. Now biometric no longer works. Im surprised how often they update the app with useless features, yet they cant fix the scrolling issue. Wow, when you thought the app was bad, they come out with a Beta version that is a JOKE. Can't trade AM.

The fidelity app has 2 modes: Class and Simplified. Using the simplified experience has been a lot easier for me to see my money and investments and understand how I'm doing. Over my Fidelity experience in general has been great. Customer service is really nice, the app is really clean, and I love trading without having to worry that most of my money is going to someone's commission.

This app is simply less good than just using the website. It has far fewer controls of what you can do (specify lots to sell, etc.) and it always forgets my login details so I need to deal with the 2FA(send a text message to the phone I'm currently using, which doesn't even auto-fill) each time. I would prefer a modernization of the website to give me the full power there, but using an interface which flows to fit my phone screen.

Still only showing a limited number of positions. Can't scroll through stocks any more in classic mode. Window only shows 11 at a time now. Maybe I'm doing something wrong. Changed to 1 star, very frustrating . Beta experience doesn't have this issue, on second thought yes it does. In Beta mode when you click ' see all' and it takes you to positions, its actually reverting back to classic mode and out of Beta mode and you are stuck with the 11 positions only format again.

Problems: Bug - Tapping on a stock from the watch list widget shows a blank screen instead of the stock chart and information. This used to work but stopped in the last month or so. Undesired behavior - The summary value above stock price graphs, e.g. "-$5.24 (-2.42%)", does not respect the time frame chosen and seems to always display the last day's performance instead.

Update: the app was working reasonably okay for a while but, since end of March, app crashes upon opening = unusable. Original review: The app constantly refuses valid password and blocks my account, rendering it not just useless, but a calamity because cannot unblock until I get home to my computer. This alone is grounds to move to another brokerage.

This used to be a great app until the last few updates. The new layout is slow, clunky and much less intuitive than the Classic Experience. A laughable attempt to be like Robinhood. Buying fractional shares requires more clicks through pages. Since the last update, the Classic Experience no longer displays your daily gain/loss in the Account page. Refreshing the screen also does not refresh your balances. You need to tap on the desired account to now view your daily change.

This app used to work well. Updates have ruined it. It gets frozen, forgets username even though it's marked remember. Won't let you log in when it gets buggy. The websites works fine. The app has gotten terrible. Someone should fix this. Calling Fidelity phone number , agents say delete and reinstall.i have done the 20 times now. Give me a break. Someone in charge needs to get this fixed

I noticed other reviewers had the same comments. The last a few updates totally ruined the used-to-be-good app. It deleted many good functions such as for research and added many extra steps to reach the account holdings and to switch between pages for positions, history, balance etc. Better to restore the classic experience functions wholly. Very disappointed.

The latest update changed for the worse. Before, when I viewed the Summary page of my holdings, the news feed showed " News About Your Investments," articles pertaining to my holdings only. It was great! Now the news feed has "Top News," pop articles that have nothing to do with my investments. The Top News is useless! Please change it back to what it was! I've given this feedback many times....

What is going on? Three different phone calls & three different technicians unable to correct malfunctions. Wifi streaming turned on in classic mode, but balances not updating. I have 60+ stocks and I actually have to click on each stock ONE AT A TIME to see real time numbers. Get this fixed ASAP, please. Not good!!!

Stuck on infinite loop when trying to open app after update. I can't open the open at all it get stuck on fingerprint authentication, and even if it works it pops up again: infinite loop. If i close and try to bypass fingerprint and just type the username and password, the app freezes and android automatically asks if i want to wait for the app to respond or close. Again stuck and can't open app. EDIT: App doesn't work on Pixel 3 android 12, but it does work with Pixel 5a same version.

Doesn't prompt for login when it times out. Requires force kill of app to get login prompt. - Search only works from main screen. Search is present on other screens but entering a search does nothing. - Can't set alerts. Gives error about entering alert information. - Options trading in app is a little weird to use unless initiated from a quote page. Update 4/18/22 - The app keeps getting worse with each update. Balances no longer update when refreshed in view of all accounts.
